⁷ And there was war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back,

⁴¹ The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil,

²⁷ For the Son of Man is to come with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then he will reward each man according to what he has done.

³¹ And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

⁴¹ "Then he will say to those on his left hand, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels:

⁵³ Do you think that I cannot appeal to my Father, and he will at once send me more than twelve legions of angels?

⁷ And to keep me from being too elated because of the abundance of revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan, to harass me, to keep me from being too elated.

¹² For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

⁷ and to give relief to you who are afflicted and to us as well when the Lord Jesus will be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in flaming fire,

¹⁰ For it was fitting that he, for whom and through whom all things exist, in bringing many sons to glory, should make the author of their salvation perfect through suffering.

⁴ For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell and committed them to pits of darkness, to be reserved for judgment;

⁹ But Michael the archangel, when he disputed with the devil and argued about the body of Moses, did not dare pronounce against him a reviling judgment, but said, "The Lord rebuke you!"

³ Then another sign appeared in heaven: and behold, a great red dragon with seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads were seven diadems. ⁴ And his tail swept away a third of the stars of heaven, and threw them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that he might devour her child when it was born.

⁹ And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the Devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole worldhe was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.

⁷ Also it was given power to make war on the saints and to conquer them. And authority was given it over every tribe and people and tongue and nation,

¹¹ Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war. ¹² His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on his head are many diadems; and he has a name written on him which no one knows but himself. ¹³ He is clothed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is called the Word of God. ¹⁴ The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses, and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. ¹⁵ From his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations, and he will rule them with a rod of iron; he treads the wine press of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty. ¹⁶ And he has on his robe and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. ¹⁷ Then I saw an angel standing in the sun, and with a loud voice he cried to all the birds that fly in midheaven, "Come, gather for the great supper of God, ¹⁸ so that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all men, both free and slave, both small and great." ¹⁹ And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth with their armies gathered to make war against him who sits on the horse and against his army. ²⁰ And the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who had performed the signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshipped his image. These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire which burns with sulfur.
