¹⁷ The path of ye righteous eschueth euell, & who so loketh well to his wayes, kepeth his owne soule.

²⁴ Put awaye from the a frowarde mouth, and let the lippes of slaunder be farre from the. ²⁵ Let thine eyes beholde the thinge yt is right, & let thine eye lyddes loke straight before the. ²⁶ Podre the path of thy fete, so shal all yi wayes be sure. ²⁷ Turne not asyde, nether to the right hande ner to the lefte, but witholde thy fote from euell.

⁹ He that leadeth an innocent life, walketh surely: but who so goeth a wroge waye, shalbe knowne.

¹⁶ Who so kepeth the comaundemet, kepeth his owne soule: but he yt regardeth not his waye, shal dye.

⁸ There shalbe footpathes & comon stretes, this shalbe called the holywaye. No vnclene person shal go thorow it, for the LORDE himself shal go with the that waye, and the ignoraut shal not erre.

¹³ But whoso endureth vnto ye ende, ye same shal be saued.

³⁵ but in all people he yt feareth him, and worketh righteousnes, is accepted vnto him.

¹⁶ Therfore studye I to haue allwaye a cleare conscience towarde God and towarde men.

³⁹ As for vs, we are not of those which withdrawe them selues to damnacion: but of them that beleue to the wynnynge of the soule.

²¹ and kepe youre selues in the loue of God, lokinge for the mercy of oure LORDE Iesus Christ, vnto eternall life.

²⁴ Vnto him that is able to kepe you, that ye faule not, and to present you fautlesse before ye presence of his glory with ioye,

¹⁰ Because thou hast kept the wordes of my pacience, therfore wil I kepe the from the houre of temptacion, which will come vpon all the worlde, to tempte them that dwell vpo the earth.
