³ Knowe ye not, that all we which are baptysed into Iesu Christ, are baptysed in to his death?

¹⁹ Go ye youre waye therfore, and teach all nacions, and baptyse them in the name of the father, and of the sonne, and of the holy goost:

³⁸ Peter sayde onto them: Amede youre selues, and let euery one of you be baptysed in the name of Iesus Christ, for the remyssion of synnes, and ye shal receaue the gifte of the holy goost.

¹⁶ For as yet he was come vpon none of them but they were baptysed onely in the name of Christ Iesu.

⁵ Whan they herde that, they were baptysed in the name of the LORDE Iesu.

⁴ Therfore are we buried wt him by baptyme in to death, that, like as Christ was raysed vp from the deed by the glory of the father, euen so we also shulde walke in a new life. ⁵ For yf we be grafted wt him vnto like death, then shal we be like the resurreccion also:

⁸ But yf we be deed with Christ, we beleue, that we shal lyue also with him,

¹⁶ Knowe ye not, that loke vnto who ye geue ouer youre selues as seruauntes to obeye, his seruauntes ye are to whom ye obey, whether it be of synne vnto death, or of obediece vnto righteousnes?

¹ Knowe ye not brethren (for I speake vnto them that knowe the lawe) how that ye lawe hath power vpon a man as longe as he lyueth?

¹⁶ Knowe ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the sprete of God dwelleth in you?

⁶ Youre reioysinge is not good. Knowe ye not that a litle leuen sowereth the whole lompe of dowe.

² Do ye not knowe that the sayntes shal iudge the worlde? Yf the worlde then shalbe iudged off you, are ye not good ynough to iudge small matters? ³ Knowe ye not that we shal iudge the angels? how moch more thinges that pertayne to the teporall life?

⁹ Knowe ye not that ye vnrighteous shal not inheret the kyngdome of God? Be not disceaued. Nether whoremongers, ner worshippers off ymages, ner breakers off wedlocke, ner weaklinges, nether abusers of them selues with mankynde,

¹⁵ Knowe ye not that youre bodies are the mebres of Christ? Shal I now take the membres of Christ, and make them the membres of an harlot? God forbyd. ¹⁶ Or do ye not knowe, that he which cleueth vnto an harlot, is one body? For they shalbe two ( sayeth he) in one flesshe.

¹⁹ Or knowe ye not that youre body is the temple of the holy goost? Whom ye haue of God, and are not youre awne?

¹³ Knowe ye not that they which laboure in the temple, haue their lyuynge of ye temple: and they that wayte at the altare, enioye the altare?

²⁴ Knowe ye not, that they which runne in a course, runne all, yet but one receaueth the rewarde? Runne ye so, that ye maye optayne.

¹³ For we are all baptysed in one sprete to be one body, whether we be Iewes or Gentyles, whether we be bonde or fre, and haue all dronke of one sprete.

²⁹ Or els what do they which are baptised ouer ye deed, yf the deed ryse not at all? Why are they then baptysed ouer the deed?

⁵ Proue youre selues, whether ye are in the faith, exame youre selues. Or knowe ye not yor selues, yt Iesus Christ is in you? Excepte ye be cast awayes.

²⁰ I am crucified with Christ, yet do I lyue: neuerthelesse now not I, but Christ lyueth in me. For ye life which I now lyue in ye flesshe, I lyue in the faith of ye sonne of God which loued me, and gaue himselfe for me. ²¹ I cast not awaye the grace of God. For yf righteousnes come by the lawe, then dyed Christ in vayne.

²⁷ For as many of you as are baptysed, haue put on Christ.

⁴ Ye aduouterars, & weme that breke matrimonie: knowe ye not how that the frenshippe of ye worlde is ennimite to godwarde? Whosoeuer wilbe a frende of the worlde, is made ye enemie of god.

²¹ Which signifieth baptyme yt now saueth vs: not ye puttinge awaye of the fylth of the flesh, but in yt a good cosciece cosenteth vnto God by ye resurreccion of Iesus Christ,
