⁷ For they that bear witness are three:

⁴ Hear, Israel: Jehovah our God is one Jehovah;

⁶ By the word of Jehovah were the heavens made, and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.

¹⁶ Come near unto me, hear ye this: I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there am I; and now the Lord Jehovah hath sent me, and his Spirit. ¹⁷ Thus saith Jehovah, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I [am] Jehovah thy God, who teacheth thee for [thy] profit, who leadeth thee in the way that thou shouldest go.

¹ The Spirit of the Lord Jehovah is upon me, because Jehovah hath anointed me to announce glad tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and opening of the prison to them that are bound;

¹⁶ And Jesus, having been baptised, went up straightway from the water, and lo, the heavens were opened to him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove, and coming upon him: ¹⁷ and behold, a voice out of the heavens saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I have found my delight.

⁵ While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and lo, a voice out of the cloud, saying, *This* is my beloved Son, in whom I have found my delight: hear him.

¹⁶ But if he do not hear [thee], take with thee one or two besides, that every matter may stand upon the word of two witnesses or of three.

¹⁹ Go [therefore] and make disciples of all the nations, baptising them to the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit;

¹ In [the] beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

³² And John bore witness, saying, I beheld the Spirit descending as a dove from heaven, and it abode upon him. ³³ And I knew him not; but he who sent me to baptise with water, *he* said to me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending and abiding on him, he it is who baptises with [the] Holy Spirit. ³⁴ And I have seen and borne witness that this is the Son of God.

²⁶ For even as the Father has life in himself, so he has given to the Son also to have life in himself,

¹³ The Pharisees therefore said to him, Thou bearest witness concerning thyself; thy witness is not true. ¹⁴ Jesus answered and said to them, Even if I bear witness concerning myself, my witness is true, because I know whence I came and whither I go: but ye know not whence I come and whither I go.

¹⁸ I am [one] who bear witness concerning myself, and the Father who has sent me bears witness concerning me.

⁵⁴ Jesus answered, If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing: it is my Father who glorifies me, [of] whom ye say, He is our God.

³⁰ I and the Father are one.

³⁷ If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not; ³⁸ but if I do, even if ye believe not me, believe the works, that ye may know [and believe] that the Father is in me and I in him.

²⁸ Father, glorify thy name. There came therefore a voice out of heaven, I both have glorified and will glorify [it] again.

³³ Having therefore been exalted by the right hand of God, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he has poured out this which *ye* behold and hear.

³² And *we* are [his] witnesses of these things, and the Holy Spirit also, which God has given to those that obey him.

⁴ But there are distinctions of gifts, but the same Spirit; ⁵ and there are distinctions of services, and the same Lord; ⁶ and there are distinctions of operations, but the same God who operates all things in all.

¹⁴ The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit, [be] with you all.

³ how shall *we* escape if we have been negligent of so great salvation, which, having had its commencement in being spoken [of] by the Lord, has been confirmed to us by those who have heard; ⁴ God bearing, besides, witness with [them] to [it], both by signs and wonders, and various acts of power, and distributions of [the] Holy Spirit, according to his will?

¹² For the word of God [is] living and operative, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and penetrating to [the] division of soul and spirit, both of joints and marrow, and a discerner of the thoughts and intents of [the] heart. ¹³ And there is not a creature unapparent before him; but all things [are] naked and laid bare to his eyes, with whom we have to do.

¹ That which was from [the] beginning, that which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes; that which we contemplated, and our hands handled, concerning the word of life;

⁶ This is he that came by water and blood, Jesus [the] Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that bears witness, for the Spirit is the truth.

¹⁰ He that believes on the Son of God has the witness in himself; he that does not believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the witness which God has witnessed concerning his Son. ¹¹ And this is the witness, that God has given to us eternal life; and this life is in his Son.

⁴ John to the seven assemblies which [are] in Asia: Grace to you and peace from [him] who is, and who was, and who is to come; and from the seven Spirits which [are] before his throne; ⁵ and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us, and has washed us from our sins in his blood,

¹³ and [he is] clothed with a garment dipped in blood; and his name is called The Word of God.
