⁷ but even as ye abound in every way, in faith, and word, and knowledge, and all diligence, and in love from you to us, that ye may abound in this grace also.

¹⁴ But I am persuaded, my brethren, I myself also, concerning you, that yourselves also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another.

⁵ that in everything ye have been enriched in him, in all word [of doctrine], and all knowledge,

⁷ For who makes thee to differ? and what hast thou which thou hast not received? but if also thou hast received, why boastest thou as not receiving?

¹ But concerning things sacrificed to idols, we know, (for we all have knowledge: knowledge puffs up, but love edifies. ² If any one think he knows anything, he knows nothing yet as he ought to know [it].

¹³ For also in [the power of] one Spirit *we* have all been baptised into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bondmen or free, and have all been given to drink of one Spirit.

² And if I have prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.

⁸ Love never fails; but whether prophecies, they shall be done away; or tongues, they shall cease; or knowledge, it shall be done away.

¹² Thus *ye* also, since ye are desirous of spirits, seek that ye may abound for the edification of the assembly.

⁷ and not by his coming only, but also through the encouragement with which he was encouraged as to you; relating to us your ardent desire, your mourning, your zeal for me; so that I the more rejoiced.

⁶ So that we begged Titus that, according as he had before begun, so he would also complete as to you this grace also;

⁸ But God is able to make every gracious gift abound towards you, that, having in every way always all-sufficiency, ye may abound to every good work:

¹⁴ and in their supplication for you, full of ardent desire for you, on account of the exceeding grace of God [which is] upon you.

²⁹ Let no corrupt word go out of your mouth, but if [there be] any good one for needful edification, that it may give grace to those that hear [it].

⁹ And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in full knowledge and all intelligence,

¹¹ being complete as regards the fruit of righteousness, which [is] by Jesus Christ, to God`s glory and praise.

⁹ Now concerning brotherly love ye have no need that we should write to you, for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another. ¹⁰ For also ye do this towards all the brethren in the whole of Macedonia; but we exhort you, brethren, to abound still more,

³ We ought to thank God always for you, brethren, even as it is meet, because your faith increases exceedingly, and the love of each one of you all towards one another abounds;

¹ Thou therefore, my child, be strong in the grace which [is] in Christ Jesus.

²⁸ Wherefore let us, receiving a kingdom not to be shaken, have grace, by which let us serve God acceptably with reverence and fear.

²² Having purified your souls by obedience to the truth to unfeigned brotherly love, love one another out of a pure heart fervently;

⁵ But for this very reason also, using therewith all diligence, in your faith have also virtue, in virtue knowledge, ⁶ in knowledge temperance, in temperance endurance, in endurance godliness, ⁷ in godliness brotherly love, in brotherly love love: ⁸ for these things existing and abounding in you make [you] to be neither idle nor unfruitful as regards the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ;

¹⁸ but grow in grace, and in [the] knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him [be] glory both now and to [the] day of eternity. Amen.

¹⁷ Because thou sayest, I am rich, and am grown rich, and have need of nothing, and knowest not that *thou* art the wretched and the miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked;
