⁴² And it became known throughout the whole of Joppa, and many believed on the Lord.

⁴ But when Jesus heard [it], he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified by it.

⁴⁵ Many therefore of the Jews who came to Mary and saw what he had done, believed on him;

¹¹ because many of the Jews went away on his account and believed on Jesus.

⁴⁴ But Jesus cried and said, He that believes on me, believes not on me, but on him that sent me;

³⁵ And all who inhabited Lydda and the Saron saw him, who turned to the Lord.

²¹ And [the] Lord`s hand was with them, and a great number believed and turned to the Lord.

¹⁷ And this became known to all, both Jews and Greeks, who inhabited Ephesus, and fear fell upon all of them, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified. ¹⁸ And many of those that believed came confessing and declaring their deeds.
