²⁰ Of fowl after their kind, and of the cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing of the ground after its kind, two of each shall go in to thee, to keep [them] alive.

²⁰ And God said, Let the waters swarm with swarms of living souls, and let fowl fly above the earth in the expanse of the heavens. ²¹ And God created the great sea monsters, and every living soul that moves with which the waters swarm, after their kind, and every winged fowl after its kind. And God saw that it was good. ²² And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply on the earth. ²³ And there was evening, and there was morning -- a fifth day. ²⁴ And God said, Let the earth bring forth living souls after their kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth, after their kind. And it was so.

²⁸ And God blessed them; and God said to them, Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the heavens, and over every animal that moveth on the earth.

¹⁹ And out of the ground Jehovah Elohim had formed every animal of the field and all fowl of the heavens, and brought [them] to Man, to see what he would call them; and whatever Man called each living soul, that was its name.

⁸ Of clean beasts, and of beasts that are not clean, and of fowl, and of everything that creeps on the ground, ⁹ there came two and two unto Noah into the ark, male and female, as God had commanded Noah. ¹⁰ And it came to pass after seven days that the waters of the flood were on the earth. ¹¹ In the six hundredth year of Noah`s life, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on that same day all the fountains of the great deep were broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened. <sup>12</sup> And the pour of rain was on the earth forty days and forty nights. <sup>13</sup> On the same day went Noah, and Shem and Ham and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah`s wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark; ¹⁴ they, and every beast after its kind, and all the cattle after their kind, and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth after its kind, and all fowl after its kind -- every bird of every wing. ¹⁵ And they went to Noah, into the ark, two and two of all flesh, in which was the breath of life. ¹⁶ And they that came, came male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him. And Jehovah shut him in.

¹¹ and he beholds the heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending, as a great sheet, [bound] by [the] four corners [and] let down to the earth; ¹² in which were all the quadrupeds and creeping things of the earth, and the fowls of the heaven.
