⁴ God bearing, besides, witness with [them] to [it], both by signs and wonders, and various acts of power, and distributions of [the] Holy Spirit, according to his will?

³⁵ And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing; and he doeth according to his will in the army of the heavens, and among the inhabitants of the earth; and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?

²⁰ And they, going forth, preached everywhere, the Lord working with [them], and confirming the word by the signs following upon [it].

⁴⁸ Jesus therefore said to him, Unless ye see signs and wonders ye will not believe.

²⁶ But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who goes forth from with the Father, *he* shall bear witness concerning me;

³² This Jesus has God raised up, whereof all *we* are witnesses. ³³ Having therefore been exalted by the right hand of God, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he has poured out this which *ye* behold and hear.

¹⁵ but the originator of life ye slew, whom God raised from among [the] dead, whereof *we* are witnesses. ¹⁶ And, by faith in his name, his name has made this [man] strong whom ye behold and know; and the faith which is by him has given him this complete soundness in the presence of you all.

¹⁰ be it known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ the Nazaraean, whom *ye* have crucified, whom God has raised from among [the] dead, by *him* this [man] stands here before you sound [in body].

³ They stayed therefore a good while, speaking boldly, [confiding] in the Lord, who gave witness to the word of his grace, giving signs and wonders to be done by their hands.

¹¹ And God wrought no ordinary miracles by the hands of Paul, ¹² so that even napkins or aprons were brought from his body [and put] upon the sick, and the diseases left them, and the wicked spirits went out.

¹⁸ For I will not dare to speak anything of the things which Christ has not wrought by me, for [the] obedience of [the] nations, by word and deed, ¹⁹ in [the] power of signs and wonders, in [the] power of [the] Spirit of God; so that I, from Jerusalem, and in a circuit round to Illyricum, have fully preached the glad tidings of the Christ;

⁴ But there are distinctions of gifts, but the same Spirit; ⁵ and there are distinctions of services, and the same Lord; ⁶ and there are distinctions of operations, but the same God who operates all things in all. ⁷ But to each the manifestation of the Spirit is given for profit. ⁸ For to one, by the Spirit, is given [the] word of wisdom; and to another [the] word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit; ⁹ and to a different one faith, in [the power of] the same Spirit; and to another gifts of healing in [the power of] the same Spirit; ¹⁰ and to another operations of miracles; and to another prophecy; and to another discerning of spirits; and to a different one kinds of tongues; and to another interpretation of tongues. ¹¹ But all these things operates the one and the same Spirit, dividing to each in particular according as he pleases.

⁵ having marked us out beforehand for adoption through Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

⁹ having made known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he purposed in himself

⁸ Wherefore he says, Having ascended up on high, he has led captivity captive, and has given gifts to men. ⁹ But that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended into the lower parts of the earth? ¹⁰ He that descended is the same who has also ascended up above all the heavens, that he might fill all things; ¹¹ and *he* has given some apostles, and some prophets, and some evangelists, and some shepherds and teachers,
