²¹ He that despoileth the barren that beareth not, and doeth not good to the widow:

⁶ And her adversary provoked her much also, to make her fret, because Jehovah had shut up her womb. ⁷ And [as] he did so year by year, as often as she went up to the house of Jehovah, she provoked her thus; and she wept and did not eat.

⁹ Widows hast thou sent empty away, and the arms of the fatherless have been broken.

³ They drive away the ass of the fatherless, they take the widow`s ox for a pledge;

¹³ The blessing of him that was perishing came upon me, and I caused the widow`s heart to sing for joy.

¹⁶ If I have withheld the poor from [their] desire, or caused the eyes of the widow to fail; ¹⁷ Or have eaten my morsel alone, so that the fatherless ate not thereof, ¹⁸ (For from my youth he grew up with me as with a father, and I have guided the [widow] from my mother`s womb;)
