⁴ But now be strong, Zerubbabel, saith Jehovah; and be strong, Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest; and be strong, all ye people of the land, saith Jehovah, and work: for I am with you, saith Jehovah of hosts.

⁹ Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Let your hands be strong, ye that hear in these days these words by the mouth of the prophets, that were in the day that the foundation of the house of Jehovah of hosts was laid, that the temple might be built.

²¹ Not every one who says to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but he that does the will of my Father who is in the heavens.

²⁴ Whoever therefore hears these my words and does them, I will liken him to a prudent man, who built his house upon the rock;

³⁵ The good man out of the good treasure brings forth good things; and the wicked man out of the wicked treasure brings forth wicked things.

²⁶ It shall not be thus amongst you, but whosoever will be great among you, shall be your servant; ²⁷ and whosoever will be first among you, let him be your bondman;

⁹ And the crowds who went before him and who followed cried, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David; blessed [be] he who comes in the name of [the] Lord; hosanna in the highest.

²⁰ teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have enjoined you. And behold, *I* am with you all the days, until the completion of the age.

²⁸ But *he* said, Yea rather, blessed are they who hear the word of God and keep [it].

¹⁰ He that is faithful in the least is faithful also in much; and he that is unrighteous in the least is unrighteous also in much.

²⁷ Moreover those mine enemies, who would not [have] me to reign over them, bring them here and slay [them] before me.

¹⁷ If ye know these things, blessed are ye if ye do them.

²¹ He that has my commandments and keeps them, he it is that loves me; but he that loves me shall be loved by my Father, and I will love him and will manifest myself to him.

¹⁹ But Peter and John answering said to them, If it be righteous before God to listen to you rather than to God, judge ye;

⁴⁵ which also our fathers, receiving from their predecessors, brought in with Joshua when they entered into possession of [the lands of] the nations, whom God drove out from [the] face of our fathers, until the days of David;

³⁶ For David indeed, having in his own generation ministered to the will of God, fell asleep, and was added to his fathers and saw corruption. ³⁷ But he whom God raised up did not see corruption.

⁹ And the Lord said by vision in [the] night to Paul, Fear not, but speak and be not silent; ¹⁰ because *I* am with thee, and no one shall set upon thee to injure thee; because I have much people in this city.

¹ Paul, bondman of Jesus Christ, [a] called apostle, separated to God`s glad tidings,

³¹ What shall we then say to these things? If God [be] for us, who against us?

³⁷ But in all these things we more than conquer through him that has loved us.

¹ Let every soul be subject to the authorities that are above [him]. For there is no authority except from God; and those that exist are set up by God. ² So that he that sets himself in opposition to the authority resists the ordinance of God; and they who [thus] resist shall bring sentence of guilt on themselves. ³ For rulers are not a terror to a good work, but to an evil [one]. Dost thou desire then not to be afraid of the authority? practise [what is] good, and thou shalt have praise from it; ⁴ for it is God`s minister to thee for good. But if thou practisest evil, fear; for it bears not the sword in vain; for it is God`s minister, an avenger for wrath to him that does evil. ⁵ Wherefore it is necessary to be subject, not only on account of wrath, but also on account of conscience.

²⁶ And if one member suffer, all the members suffer with [it]; and if one member be glorified, all the members rejoice with [it].

⁵ does not behave in an unseemly manner, does not seek what is its own, is not quickly provoked, does not impute evil,

¹³ Be vigilant; stand fast in the faith; quit yourselves like men; be strong.

¹³ For *ye* have been called to liberty, brethren; only [do] not [turn] liberty into an opportunity to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

² Bear one another`s burdens, and thus fulfil the law of the Christ.

²⁹ Let no corrupt word go out of your mouth, but if [there be] any good one for needful edification, that it may give grace to those that hear [it].

¹⁰ For the rest, brethren, be strong in [the] Lord, and in the might of his strength.

²¹ For for me to live [is] Christ, and to die gain; ²² but if to live in flesh [is my lot], this is for me worth the while: and what I shall choose I cannot tell. ²³ But I am pressed by both, having the desire for departure and being with Christ, [for] [it is] very much better, ²⁴ but remaining in the flesh [is] more necessary for your sakes; ²⁵ and having confidence of this, I know that I shall remain and abide along with you all, for your progress and joy in faith; ²⁶ that your boasting may abound in Christ Jesus through me by my presence again with you.

⁴ regarding not each his own [qualities], but each those of others also.

¹⁶ Let the word of the Christ dwell in you richly, in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another, in psalms, hymns, spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to God.

¹ I exhort therefore, first of all, that supplications, prayers, intercessions, thanksgivings be made for all men; ² for kings and all that are in dignity, that we may lead a quiet and tranquil life in all piety and gravity;

¹⁴ Be not negligent of the gift [that is] in thee, which has been given to thee through prophecy, with imposition of the hands of the elderhood. ¹⁵ Occupy thyself with these things; be wholly in them, that thy progress may be manifest to all. ¹⁶ Give heed to thyself and to the teaching; continue in them; for, doing this, thou shalt save both thyself and those that hear thee.

¹ Thou therefore, my child, be strong in the grace which [is] in Christ Jesus.

¹⁷ But the Lord stood with [me], and gave me power, that through me the proclamation might be fully made, and all [those of] the nations should hear; and I was delivered out of the lion`s mouth.

¹ Paul, bondman of God, and apostle of Jesus Christ according to [the] faith of God`s elect, and knowledge of [the] truth which [is] according to piety; ² in [the] hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised before the ages of time,

¹ Put them in mind to be subject to rulers, to authorities, to be obedient to rule, to be ready to do every good work,

⁵ And Moses indeed [was] faithful in all his house, as a ministering servant, for a testimony of the things to be spoken after; ⁶ but Christ, as Son over his house, whose house are *we*, if indeed we hold fast the boldness and the boast of hope firm to the end.

²³ And they have been many priests, on account of being hindered from continuing by death; ²⁴ but he, because of his continuing for ever, has the priesthood unchangeable.

²⁸ Any one that has disregarded Moses` law dies without mercy on [the testimony of] two or three witnesses: ²⁹ of how much worse punishment, think ye, shall he be judged worthy who has trodden under foot the Son of God, and esteemed the blood of the covenant, whereby he has been sanctified, common, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?

²⁵ See that ye refuse not him that speaks. For if those did not escape who had refused him who uttered the oracles on earth, much more we who turn away from him [who does so] from heaven:

⁵ [Let your] conversation [be] without love of money, satisfied with [your] present circumstances; for *he* has said, I will not leave thee, neither will I forsake thee.

¹ James, bondman of God and of [the] Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which [are] in the dispersion, greeting.

²² But be ye doers of [the] word and not hearers only, beguiling yourselves. ²³ For if any man be a hearer of [the] word and not a doer, *he* is like to a man considering his natural face in a mirror: ²⁴ for he has considered himself and is gone away, and straightway he has forgotten what he was like. ²⁵ But *he* that fixes his view on [the] perfect law, that of liberty, and abides in [it], being not a forgetful hearer but a doer of [the] work, *he* shall be blessed in his doing.

¹³ Be in subjection [therefore] to every human institution for the Lord`s sake; whether to [the] king as supreme, ¹⁴ or to rulers as sent by him, for vengeance on evildoers, and praise to them that do well. ¹⁵ Because so is the will of God, that by well-doing ye put to silence the ignorance of senseless men;

¹⁸ and the living one: and I became dead, and behold, I am living to the ages of ages, and have the keys of death and of hades.

⁴ And the woman was clothed in purple and scarlet, and had ornaments of gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and the unclean things of her fornication;

¹⁴ Blessed [are] they that wash their robes, that they may have right to the tree of life, and that they should go in by the gates into the city.
