³⁴ And this shall be an everlasting statute unto you, to make atonement for the children of Israel [to cleanse them] from all their sins once a year. And he did as Jehovah had commanded Moses.

¹⁰ And Aaron shall make atonement for its horns once in the year: with the blood of the sin-offering of atonement shall he make atonement for it, once in the year, throughout your generations: it is most holy to Jehovah.

³¹ No manner of work shall ye do: [it is] an everlasting statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

⁷ And on the tenth of this seventh month ye shall have a holy convocation; and ye shall afflict your souls; no manner of work shall ye do.

⁷ but into the second, the high priest only, once a year, not without blood, which he offers for himself and for the errors of the people:

²⁵ nor in order that he should offer himself often, as the high priest enters into the holy places every year with blood not his own;

³ But in these [there is] a calling to mind of sins yearly.

¹⁴ For by one offering he has perfected in perpetuity the sanctified.
