⁵¹ And it came to pass as he was blessing them, he was separated from them and was carried up into heaven.

¹¹ And it came to pass as they went on, and talked, that behold, a chariot of fire and horses of fire; and they parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into the heavens.

¹⁹ The Lord therefore, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven, and sat at the right hand of God.

¹⁷ Jesus says to her, Touch me not, for I have not yet ascended to my Father; but go to my brethren and say to them, I ascend to my Father and your Father, and [to] my God and your God.

⁹ And having said these things he was taken up, they beholding [him], and a cloud received him out of their sight.

⁸ Wherefore he says, Having ascended up on high, he has led captivity captive, and has given gifts to men. ⁹ But that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended into the lower parts of the earth? ¹⁰ He that descended is the same who has also ascended up above all the heavens, that he might fill all things;

³ who being [the] effulgence of his glory and [the] expression of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, having made [by himself] the purification of sins, set himself down on the right hand of the greatness on high,
