³¹ And a second like it [is] this: Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is not another commandment greater than these.

¹³ Thou shalt not oppress thy neighbour, neither rob him. The wages of the hired servant shall not abide with thee all night until the morning.

¹⁸ Thou shalt not avenge thyself, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am Jehovah.

¹² Therefore all things whatever ye desire that men should do to you, thus do *ye* also do to them; for this is the law and the prophets.

¹⁸ He says to him, Which? And Jesus said, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, ¹⁹ Honour thy father and thy mother, and Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

³⁹ And [the] second is like it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

²⁷ But he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thine understanding; and thy neighbour as thyself.

³⁶ Which [now] of these three seems to thee to have been neighbour of him who fell into [the hands of] the robbers? ³⁷ And he said, He that shewed him mercy. And Jesus said to him, Go, and do *thou* likewise.

⁸ Owe no one anything, unless to love one another: for he that loves another has fulfilled the law. ⁹ For, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not lust; and if there be any other commandment, it is summed up in this word, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

⁴ Love has long patience, is kind; love is not emulous [of others]; love is not insolent and rash, is not puffed up, ⁵ does not behave in an unseemly manner, does not seek what is its own, is not quickly provoked, does not impute evil, ⁶ does not rejoice at iniquity but rejoices with the truth, ⁷ bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. ⁸ Love never fails; but whether prophecies, they shall be done away; or tongues, they shall cease; or knowledge, it shall be done away.

¹⁴ For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, in Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself;

⁸ If indeed ye keep [the] royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well. ⁹ But if ye have respect of persons, ye commit sin, being convicted by the law as transgressors. ¹⁰ For whoever shall keep the whole law and shall offend in one [point], he has come under the guilt of [breaking] all. ¹¹ For he who said, Thou shalt not commit adultery, said also, Thou shalt not kill. Now if thou dost not commit adultery, but killest, thou art become transgressor of [the] law. ¹² So speak ye, and so act, as those that are to be judged by [the] law of liberty; ¹³ for judgment [will be] without mercy to him that has shewn no mercy. Mercy glories over judgment.

¹⁷ But whoso may have the world`s substance, and see his brother having need, and shut up his bowels from him, how abides the love of God in him? ¹⁸ Children, let us not love with word, nor with tongue, but in deed and in truth. ¹⁹ And hereby we shall know that we are of the truth, and shall persuade our hearts before him --

⁷ Beloved, let us love one another; because love is of God, and every one that loves has been begotten of God, and knows God. ⁸ He that loves not has not known God; for God is love.

²¹ And this commandment have we from him, That he that loves God love also his brother.
