³⁵ The heaven and the earth shall pass away, but my words shall in no wise pass away.

¹⁹ ?God is not a man, that he should lie; neither a son of man, that he should repent. Shall he say and not do? and shall he speak and not make it good?

⁷ The law of Jehovah is perfect, restoring the soul; the testimony of Jehovah is sure, making wise the simple;

³⁴ My covenant will I not profane, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.

²⁶ *They* shall perish, but *thou* continuest; and all of them shall grow old as a garment: as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed.

⁵ Every word of +God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.

⁴ And all the host of the heavens shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll; and all their host shall fade away, as a leaf fadeth from off the vine, and as the withered [fruit] from the fig-tree.

⁸ The grass withereth, the flower fadeth; but the word of our God abideth for ever.

⁶ Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look on the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall grow old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner; but my salvation shall be for ever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.

¹⁰ For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my loving-kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall my covenant of peace be removed, saith Jehovah, that hath mercy on thee.

¹¹ so shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall do that which I please, and it shall accomplish that for which I send it.

³⁵ Thus saith Jehovah, who giveth the sun for light by day, the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for light by night, who stirreth up the sea so that the waves thereof roar, -- Jehovah of hosts is his name: ³⁶ If those ordinances depart from before me, saith Jehovah, the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.

¹⁸ For verily I say unto you, Until the heaven and the earth pass away, one iota or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law till all come to pass.

² in [the] hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised before the ages of time,

¹¹ They shall perish, but *thou* continuest still; and they all shall grow old as a garment, ¹² and as a covering shalt thou roll them up, and they shall be changed; but *thou* art the Same, and thy years shall not fail.

²⁵ but the word of [the] Lord abides for eternity. But this is the word which in the glad tidings [is] preached to you.

⁷ But the present heavens and the earth by his word are laid up in store, kept for fire unto a day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men. ⁸ But let not this one thing be hidden from you, beloved, that one day with [the] Lord [is] as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. ⁹ [The] Lord does not delay his promise, as some account of delay, but is longsuffering towards you, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. ¹⁰ But the day of [the] Lord will come as a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a rushing noise, and [the] elements, burning with heat, shall be dissolved, and [the] earth and the works in it shall be burnt up. ¹¹ All these things then being to be dissolved, what ought ye to be in holy conversation and godliness, ¹² waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God, by reason of which [the] heavens, being on fire, shall be dissolved, and [the] elements, burning with heat, shall melt?

¹⁴ And to the angel of the assembly in Laodicea write: These things says the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God:

¹⁴ And the heaven was removed as a book rolled up, and every mountain and island were removed out of their places.

¹¹ And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled, and place was not found for them.
