³⁸ supplicate therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he send forth workmen unto his harvest.

¹¹ The Lord gives the word: great the host of the publishers.

¹⁸ Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts in Man, and even [for] the rebellious, for the dwelling [there] of Jah Elohim.

¹⁵ And I will give you shepherds according to my heart, and they shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.

⁷ And the remnant of Jacob shall be in the midst of many peoples as dew from Jehovah, as showers upon the grass, that tarrieth not for man, neither waiteth for the sons of men.

¹ And having called to [him] his twelve disciples, he gave them power over unclean spirits, so that they should cast them out, and heal every disease and every bodily weakness. ² Now the names of the twelve apostles are these: first, Simon, who was called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the [son] of Zebedee, and John his brother; ³ Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the tax-gatherer; James the [son] of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, who was surnamed Thaddaeus;

¹² And it came to pass in those days that he went out into the mountain to pray, and he spent the night in prayer to God. ¹³ And when it was day he called his disciples, and having chosen out twelve from them, whom also he named apostles:

¹ Now after these things the Lord appointed seventy others also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place where he himself was about to come. ² And he said to them, The harvest indeed [is] great, but the workmen few; supplicate therefore the Lord of the harvest that he may send out workmen into his harvest.

²¹ [Jesus] said therefore again to them, Peace [be] to you: as the Father sent me forth, I also send you.

⁴ Those then that had been scattered went through [the countries] announcing the glad tidings of the word.

² And as they were ministering to the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, Separate me now Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.

²⁸ And God has set certain in the assembly: first, apostles; secondly, prophets; thirdly, teachers; then miraculous powers; then gifts of healings; helps; governments; kinds of tongues.

¹¹ and *he* has given some apostles, and some prophets, and some evangelists, and some shepherds and teachers,

¹ For the rest, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may run and be glorified, even as also with you;
