² Before the mountains were brought forth, and thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from eternity to eternity thou art ?God.

¹ In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

⁷ Art thou the first man that was born? and wast thou brought forth before the hills?

⁴ Where wast thou when I founded the earth? Declare, if thou hast understanding. ⁵ Who set the measures thereof -- if thou knowest? or who stretched a line upon it? ⁶ Whereupon were the foundations thereof sunken? or who laid its corner-stone,

²⁸ Hath the rain a father? or who begetteth the drops of dew? ²⁹ Out of whose womb cometh the ice? and the hoary frost of heaven, who bringeth it forth?

⁹ For *he* spoke, and it was [done]; *he* commanded, and it stood fast.

² Thy throne is established of old; thou art from eternity.

²⁴ I said, My ?God, take me not away in the midst of my days! ... Thy years are from generation to generation. ²⁵ Of old hast thou founded the earth, and the heavens are the work of thy hands: ²⁶ *They* shall perish, but *thou* continuest; and all of them shall grow old as a garment: as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed. ²⁷ But thou art the Same, and thy years shall have no end.

¹⁷ But the loving-kindness of Jehovah is from everlasting and to everlasting, upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children`s children,

⁶ Who made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is therein; who keepeth truth for ever;

²⁵ Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth; ²⁶ while as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the beginning of the dust of the world.

⁶ Thus saith Jehovah, the King of Israel, and his Redeemer, Jehovah of hosts: I [am] the first, and I [am] the last, and beside me there is no God.

²² Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I [am] ?God, and there is none else.

¹⁵ For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, and whose name is Holy: I dwell in the high and holy [place], and with him that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

² (And thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, little to be among the thousands of Judah, out of thee shall he come forth unto me [who is] to be Ruler in Israel: whose goings forth are from of old, from the days of eternity.)

¹² -- Art thou not from everlasting, Jehovah my God, my Holy One? We shall not die. Jehovah, thou hast ordained him for judgment; and thou, O Rock, hast appointed him for correction.

¹⁵ which in its own time the blessed and only Ruler shall shew, the King of those that reign, and Lord of those that exercise lordship; ¹⁶ who only has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light; whom no man has seen, nor is able to see; to whom [be] honour and eternal might. Amen.

¹⁰ And, *Thou* in the beginning, Lord, hast founded the earth, and works of thy hands are the heavens. ¹¹ They shall perish, but *thou* continuest still; and they all shall grow old as a garment, ¹² and as a covering shalt thou roll them up, and they shall be changed; but *thou* art the Same, and thy years shall not fail.

⁸ Jesus Christ [is] the same yesterday, and to-day, and to the ages [to come].

⁸ I am the Alpha and the Omega, saith [the] Lord God, he who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.
