²¹ I find then the law upon *me* who will to practise what is right, that with *me* evil is there.

¹⁸ For a multitude of the people, many of Ephraim and Manasseh, Issachar and Zebulun, had not cleansed themselves, and they ate the passover otherwise than it was written. But Hezekiah prayed for them saying, Jehovah, who is good, forgive every one ¹⁹ that has directed his heart to seek God, Jehovah the God of his fathers, although not according to the purification of the sanctuary.

¹² Who understandeth [his] errors? Purify me from secret [faults]. ¹³ Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous [sins]; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be perfect, and I shall be innocent from great transgression.

¹² For innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I cannot see; they are more than the hairs of my head: and my heart hath failed me.

³ Iniquities have prevailed against me: our transgressions, thou wilt forgive them.

³⁷ Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity; quicken me in thy way.

¹³³ Establish my steps in thy ?word; and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.

⁵ And I said, Woe unto me! for I am undone; for I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, Jehovah of hosts. ⁶ And one of the seraphim flew unto me, and he had in his hand a glowing coal, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar; ⁷ and he made it touch my mouth, and said, Behold, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin expiated.

¹ And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the Angel of Jehovah, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him. ² And Jehovah said unto Satan, Jehovah rebuke thee, O Satan! Yea, Jehovah that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee! Is not this a brand plucked out of the fire? ³ And Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the Angel. ⁴ And he spoke and said unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from off him. And unto him he said, See, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I clothe thee with festival-robes.

¹ But Jesus, full of [the] Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan, and was led by the Spirit in the wilderness

³⁴ Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say to you, Every one that practises sin is the bondman of sin.

¹² Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body to obey its lusts.

¹⁴ For sin shall not have dominion over *you*, for ye are not under law but under grace.

²³ but I see another law in my members, warring in opposition to the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which exists in my members.

²⁵ I thank God, through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then *I* *myself* with the mind serve God`s law; but with the flesh sin`s law.

² For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and of death.

¹¹ Put on the panoply of God, that ye may be able to stand against the artifices of the devil: ¹² because our struggle is not against blood and flesh, but against principalities, against authorities, against the universal lords of this darkness, against spiritual [power] of wickedness in the heavenlies. ¹³ For this reason take [to you] the panoply of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having accomplished all things, to stand.

¹⁷ Wherefore it behoved him in all things to be made like to [his] brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things relating to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people;

¹⁵ For we have not a high priest not able to sympathise with our infirmities, but tempted in all things in like manner, sin apart.

¹⁹ promising them liberty, while they themselves are slaves of corruption; for by whom a man is subdued, by him is he also brought into slavery.
