³ And it shall come to pass, that when any man shall prophesy any more, his father and his mother that brought him into the world, shall say to him: Thou shalt not live: because thou hast spoken a lie in the name of the Lord. And his father, and his mother, his parents, shall thrust him through, when he shall prophesy.

³⁷ He that loveth father or mother more than me, is not worthy of me; and he that loveth son or daughter more than me, is not worthy of me.

⁴⁶ As he was yet speaking to the multitudes, behold his mother and his brethren stood without, seeking to speak to him. ⁴⁷ And one said unto him: Behold thy mother and thy brethren stand without, seeking thee. ⁴⁸ But he answering him that told him, said: Who is my mother, and who are my brethren? ⁴⁹ And stretching forth his hand towards his disciples, he said: Behold my mother and my brethren. ⁵⁰ For whosoever shall do the will of my Father, that is in heaven, he is my brother, and sister, and mother.

¹ When Jesus had said these things, he went forth with his disciples over the brook Cedron, where there was a garden, into which he entered with his disciples.

¹⁴ But when I saw that they walked not uprightly unto the truth of the gospel, I said to Cephas before them all: If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of the Gentiles and not as the Jews do, how dost thou compel the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?
