³³ And bread was set before him. But he said: I will not eat, till I tell my message. He answered him: Speak.

¹² I have not departed from the commandments of his lips, and the words of his mouth I have hid in my bosom.

³ If I shall enter into the tabernacle of my house: if I shall go up into the bed wherein I lie: ⁴ If I shall give sleep to my eyes, or slumber to my eyelids, ⁵ Or rest to my temples: until I find out a place for the Lord, a tabernacle for the God of Jacob.

²⁹ Hast thou seen a man swift in his work? he shall stand before kings, and shall not be before those that are obscure.

¹⁰ Whatsoever thy hand is able to do, do it earnestly: for neither work, nor reason, nor wisdom, nor knowledge shall be in hell, whither thou art hastening.

¹⁴ But the water that I will give him shall become in him a fountain of water, springing up into life everlasting.

³¹ In the mean time, the disciples prayed him, saying: Rabbi, eat. ³² But he said to them: I have meat to eat which you know not. ³³ The disciples therefore said one to another: Hath any man brought him to eat? ³⁴ Jesus saith to them: My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, that I may perfect his work.

⁵ Servants, be obedient to them that are your lords according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in the simplicity of your heart, as to Christ. ⁶ Not serving to the eye, as it were pleasing men: but, as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart. ⁷ With a good will serving, as to the Lord, and not to men. ⁸ Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man shall do, the same shall he receive from the Lord, whether he be bond or free.

² But they that have believing masters, let them not despise them, because they are brethren; but serve them the rather, because they are faithful and beloved, who are partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort.
