³⁶ Now, whilst they were speaking these things, Jesus stood in the midst of them and saith to them: Peace be to you. It is I: Fear not.

¹⁸ I saw his ways, and I healed him, and brought him back, and restored comforts to him, and to them that mourn for him.

¹³ And if that house be worthy, your peace shall come upon it; but if it be not worthy, your peace shall return to you.

¹⁴ At length he appeared to the eleven as they were at table: and he upbraided them with their incredulity and hardness of heart, because they did not believe them who had seen him after he was risen again.

⁵ Into whatever house you enter, first say: Peace be to this house.

²⁷ Peace I leave with you: my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, do I give unto you. Let not your heart be troubled: nor let it be afraid.

³³ These things I have spoken to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you shall have distress. But have confidence. I have overcome the world.

¹⁹ Now when it was late the same day, the first of the week, and the doors were shut, where the disciples were gathered together, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst and said to them: Peace be to you. ²⁰ And when he had said this, he shewed them his hands and his side. ²⁶ And after eight days, again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them. Jesus cometh, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst and said: Peace be to you.

⁵ And that he was seen by Cephas, and after that by the eleven.

¹⁶ Now the Lord of peace himself give you everlasting peace in every place. The Lord be with you all.
