²⁵ And he set the Levites in the house of the Lord with cymbals, and psalteries, and harps according to the regulation of David the king, and of Gad the seer, and of Nathan the prophet: for it was the commandment of the Lord by the hand of his prophets.

¹⁰ And when the masons laid the foundations of the temple of the Lord, the priests stood in their ornaments with trumpets: and the Levites the sons of Asaph with cymbals, to praise God by the hands of David king of Israel.

² Give praise to the Lord on the harp; sing to him with the psaltery, the instrument of ten strings.

³ Praise him with the sound of trumpet: praise him with psaltery and harp. ⁴ Praise him with timbrel and choir: praise him with strings and organs. ⁵ Praise him on high sounding cymbals: praise him on cymbals of joy:

¹³ Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, the young men and old men together: and I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them joyful after their sorrow.
