³⁰ But of him are you in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom and justice and sanctification and redemption:

⁸ Which none of the princes of this world knew. For if they had known it, they would never have crucified the Lord of glory.

²⁶ The earth is the Lord's and the fulness thereof.

⁸ Wherefore he saith: Ascending on high, he led captivity captive: he gave gifts to men. ⁹ Now that he ascended, what is it, but because he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? ¹⁰ He that descended is the same also that ascended above all the heavens: that he might fill all things.

⁹ And may be found in him, not having my justice, which is of the law, but that which is of the faith of Christ Jesus, which is of God: justice in faith.

¹⁵ And despoiling the principalities and powers, he hath exposed them confidently in open shew, triumphing over them in himself.

¹⁰ For fornicators, for them who defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and whatever other thing is contrary to sound doctrine:

⁸ I will therefore that men pray in every place, lifting up pure hands, without anger and contention.

²⁸ Therefore, receiving an immoveable kingdom, we have grace: whereby let us serve, pleasing God, with fear and reverence.

⁵ For this they are wilfully ignorant of: That the heavens were before, and the earth out of water and through water, consisting by the word of God: ⁶ Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished. ⁷ But the heavens and the earth which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of the ungodly men.

¹⁸ But grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and unto the day of eternity, Amen.

And he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness of the wrath of God the Almighty. ¹⁶ And he hath on his garment and on his thigh written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. ¹⁷ And I saw an angel standing in the sun: and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that did fly through the midst of heaven: Come, gather yourselves together to the great supper of God: ¹⁸ That you may eat the flesh of kings and the flesh of tribunes and the flesh of mighty men and the flesh of horses and of them that sit on them: and the flesh of all freemen and bondmen and of little and of great. ¹⁹ And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies, gathered together to make war with him that sat upon the horse and with his army. ²⁰ And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet who wrought signs before him, wherewith he seduced them who received the character of the beast and who adored his image. These two were cast alive into the pool of fire burning with brimstone. ²¹ And the rest were slain by the sword of him that sitteth upon the horse, which proceedeth out of his mouth: and all the birds were filled with their flesh.

And they shall be his people: and God himself with them shall be their God. ⁴ And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes: and death shall be no more. Nor mourning, nor crying, nor sorrow shall be any more, for the former things are passed away.

²⁷ There shall not enter into it any thing defiled or that worketh abomination or maketh a lie: but they that are written in the book of life of the Lamb.

¹⁴ Blessed are they that wash their robes in the blood of the Lamb: that they may have a right to the tree of life and may enter in by the gates into the city. ¹⁵ Without are dogs and sorcerers and unchaste and murderers and servers of idols and every one that loveth and maketh a lie.
