¹⁶ And they say to the mountains and the rocks: Fall upon us and hide us from the face of him that sitteth upon the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb.

⁹ Thou shalt rule them with a rod of iron, and shalt break them in pieces like a potter's vessel. ¹⁰ And now, O ye kings, understand: receive instruction, you that judge the earth. ¹¹ Serve ye the Lord with fear: and rejoice unto him with trembling. ¹² Embrace discipline, lest at any time the Lord be angry, and you perish from the just way. ^(2:13) When his wrath shall be kindled in a short time, blessed are all they that trust in him.

⁵ They have not called upon the Lord: there have they trembled for fear, where there was no fear.

⁵ The Lord at thy right hand hath broken kings in the day of his wrath. ⁶ He shall judge among nations, he shall fill ruins: he shall crush the heads in the land of many.

³ And death shall be chosen rather than life by all that shall remain of this wicked kindred in all places, which are left, to which I have cast them out, saith the Lord of hosts.

⁸ And the high places of the idol, the sin of Israel shall be destroyed: the bur and the thistle shall grow up over their altars: and they shall say to the mountains Cover us; and to the hills: Fall upon us.

¹⁴ And the angel that spoke in me, said to me: Cry thou, saying: Thus saith the Lord of hosts: I am zealous for Jerusalem, and Sion with a great zeal. ¹⁵ And I am angry with a great anger with the wealthy nations: for I was angry a little, but they helped forward the evil.

⁶⁴ Jesus saith to him: Thou hast said it. Nevertheless I say to you, hereafter you shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of the power of God and coming in the clouds of heaven.

³⁰ Then shall they begin to say to the mountains: Fall upon us. And to the hills: Cover us.

⁷ And to you who are troubled, rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with the angels of his power: ⁸ In a flame of fire, giving vengeance to them who know not God and who obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. ⁹ Who shall suffer eternal punishment in destruction, from the face of the Lord and from the glory of his power:

² And immediately I was in the spirit. And behold, there was a throne set in heaven, and upon the throne one sitting.

⁵ And from the throne proceeded lightnings and voices and thunders. And there were seven lamps burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.

⁹ And when those living creatures gave glory and honour and benediction to him that sitteth on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever:

¹⁰ And they cried with a loud voice, saying: How long, O Lord (Holy and True), dost thou not judge and revenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

⁶ And he swore by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven and the things which are therein, and the earth and the things which are in it, and the sea and the things which are therein: That time shall be no longer.

¹⁵ And out of his mouth proceedeth a sharp two-edged sword, that with it he may strike the nations. And he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness of the wrath of God the Almighty.

¹¹ And I saw a great white throne and one sitting upon it, from whose face the earth and heaven fled away: and there was no place found for them
