³⁷ But in all these things we overcome, because of him that hath loved us.

²⁵ Then Josaphat came, and all the people with him to take away the spoils of the dead, and they found among the dead bodies, stuff of various kinds, and garments, and most precious vessels: and they took them for themselves, insomuch that they could not carry all, nor in three days take away the spoils, the booty was so great. ²⁶ And on the fourth day they were assembled in the valley of Blessing: for there they blessed the Lord, and therefore they called that place the valley of Blessing until this day. ²⁷ And every man of Juda, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem returned, and Josaphat at their head, into Jerusalem with great joy, because the Lord had made them rejoice over their enemies.

⁸ He shall cast death down headlong for ever: and the Lord God shall wipe away tears from every face, and the reproach of his people he shall take away from off the whole earth: for the Lord hath spoken it.

³³ These things I have spoken to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you shall have distress. But have confidence. I have overcome the world.

⁵⁴ And when this mortal hath put on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written: Death is swallowed up in victory.

⁵⁷ But thanks be to God, who hath given us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

¹⁴ Now thanks be to God, who always maketh us to triumph in Christ Jesus and manifesteth the odour of his knowledge by us in every place.

⁹ And he said to me: My grace is sufficient for thee: for power is made perfect in infirmity. Gladly therefore will I glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may dwell in me.

¹⁹ Of old, think you that we excuse ourselves to you? We speak before God in Christ: but all things, my dearly beloved, for your edification.

²⁰ And I live, now not I: but Christ liveth in me. And that I live now in the flesh: I live in the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and delivered himself for me.

² And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us and hath delivered himself for us, an oblation and a sacrifice to God for an odour of sweetness.

²⁵ Husbands, love your wives, as Christ also loved the church and delivered himself up for it: ²⁶ That he might sanctify it, cleansing it by the laver of water in the word of life: ²⁷ That he might present it to himself, a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

⁴ You are of God, little children, and have overcome him. Because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

¹⁰ In this is charity: not as though we had loved God, but because he hath first loved us, and sent his Son to be a propitiation for our sins.

¹⁹ Let us therefore love God: because God first hath loved us.

⁴ For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world. And this is the victory which overcameth the world: Our faith. ⁵ Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

²⁴ Now to him who is able to preserve you without sin and to present you spotless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, in the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:

⁵ And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the first begotten of the dead and the prince of the kings of the earth, who hath loved us and washed us from our sins in his own blood

⁹ Behold, I will bring of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but do lie. Behold, I will make them to come and adore before thy feet. And they shall know that I have loved thee.

⁹ After this, I saw a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations and tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and in sight of the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands. ¹⁰ And they cried with a loud voice, saying: Salvation to our God, who sitteth upon the throne and to the Lamb.

⁷ And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the abyss shall make war against them and shall overcome them and kill them. ⁸ And their bodies shall lie in the streets of the great city which is called spiritually, Sodom and Egypt: where their Lord also was crucified. ⁹ And they of the tribes and peoples and tongues and nations shall see their bodies for three days and a half: and they shall not suffer their bodies to be laid in sepulchres. ¹⁰ And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them and make merry: and shall send gifts one to another, because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt upon the earth. ¹¹ And after three days and a half, the spirit of life from God entered into them. And they stood upon their feet: and great fear fell upon them that saw them. ¹² And they heard a great voice from heaven, saying to them: Come up hither. And they went up to heaven in a cloud: and their enemies saw them.

¹¹ And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of the testimony: and they loved not their lives unto death.

¹⁴ These shall fight with the Lamb. And the Lamb shall overcome them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings: and they that are with him are called and elect and faithful.

⁷ He that shall overcome shall possess these things. And I will be his God: and he shall be my son.
