GENEALOGY OF THE LEADERS OF TABERNACLE SERVICE

SCRIBING THE SONS OF QEHATH
The sons of Qehath: Am Ram, Yishar, Hebron and Uzzi El - four.

⁴ and his sister stands afar off to perceive what is worked to him.

⁷ Then his sister says to the daughter of Paroh, Go I and call a woman suckler of the Hebrews to suckle the child for you?

²⁰ And Am Ram takes Yah Chebed his aunt to woman: and she births him Aharon and Mosheh - and the years of the life of Am Ram - a hundred and thirty-seven years.

²³ And Aharon takes Eli Sheba daughter of Ammi Nadab, sister of Nahshon, to woman: and she births him Nadab and Abi Hu, El Azar and Iy Thamar.

And Miryam the prophetess, the sister of Aharon, takes a tambourine in her hand; and all the women follow her with tambourines and with round dances.

YAH VEH CUTS A COVENANT
And he says to Mosheh, Ascend to Yah Veh, you and Aharon, Nadab and Abi Hu and seventy of the elders of Yisra El; and prostrate afar off.

PATTERN FOR THE PRIESTAL CLOTHES
And oblate to yourself Aharon your brother and his sons with him, from among the sons of Yisra El, that he priest the priesthood to me - Aharon, Nadab and Abi Hu, El Azar and Iy Thamar, sons of Aharon.

SIN AND DEATH OF THE SONS OF AHARON
And Nadab and Abi Hu the sons of Aharon each man takes his tray and gives fire therein and puts incense thereon and oblates strange fire at the face of Yah Veh - which he misvahed them not.

¹² And Mosheh words to Aharon and to El Azar and to Iy Thamar his sons who remain, Take the offering that remains of the firings to Yah Veh and eat with matsah beside the sacrifice altar - a holy of holies:

¹⁶ And in seeking, Mosheh seeks the goat of that for the sin: and behold, it is burnt: and he rages with El Azar and Iy Thamar, the remaining sons of Aharon, saying,

¹³ The sons of Am Ram: Aharon and Mosheh; and Aharon is separated to hallow the Holy of Holies - he and his sons eternally to incense at the face of Yah Veh to minister to him and to bless in his name eternally.

THE ALLOTMENTS OF THE SONS OF AHARON
And to the sons of Aharon, these allotments: The sons of Aharon: Nadab and Abi Hu, El Azar and Iy Thamar: ² and Nadab and Abi Hu die at the face of their father and have no sons; and El Azar and Iy Thamar priest. ³ And David allots them, both Sadoq of the sons of El Azar and Achiy Melech of the sons of Iy Thamar, according to their overseeing in their service. ⁴ And they find more mighty heads of the sons of El Azar than of the sons of Iy Thamar; and they allot thus: Among the sons of El Azar: sixteen head men of the house of their fathers and eight among the sons of Iy Thamar according to the house of their fathers. ⁵ And they allot by pebble these with those: for the governors of the holies and governors of Elohim are of the sons of El Azar and of the sons of Iy Thamar: ⁶ and Shema Yah the son of Nethan El the scribe of the Leviym, inscribes them at the face of the sovereign and the governors and Sadoq the priest and Achiy Melech the son of Abi Athar and the head of the fathers of the priests and Leviym: one house of the fathers possessed for El Azar and one possessed for Iy Thamar.

⁴ For I ascended you from the land of Misrayim and redeemed you from the house of servants; and ere your face I sent Mosheh, Aharon, and Miryam.

²⁵ El Azar the son of Aharon takes of the daughters of Puti El to woman: and she births him Phinechas - these are the heads of the fathers of the Leviym according to their families.

⁶ And behold, a man of the sons of Yisra El comes and approaches his brothers with a Midyaniy woman in the eyes of Mosheh and in the eyes of all the witness of the sons of Yisra El weeping at the opening of the tent of the congregation. ⁷ And when Phinechas the son of El Azar the son of Aharon the priest, sees it, he rises from among the witness and takes a javelin in his hand; ⁸ and he goes after the man of Yisra El into the belly and stabs the two of them through - the man of Yisra El and the woman into her belly: thus the plague restrains from the sons of Yisra El. ⁹ - and they who die in the plague, twenty-four thousand. ¹⁰ And Yah Veh words to Mosheh, saying, ¹¹ Phinechas the son of El Azar the son of Aharon the priest turns my fury from the sons of Yisra El, in envying over my envy among them, so that in my envy I not finish off the sons of Yisra El.

¹³ and he and his seed after him - even the covenant of an eternal priesthood; because he envies for his Elohim and kapars/atones for the sons of Yisra El.

⁶ and Mosheh sends them to the hostility - a thousand per rod - them and Phinechas the son of El Azar the priest to the hostility with the holy instruments; and in his hand, the trumpets to blast.

¹³ and the sons of Yisra El send to the sons of Reu Ben and to the sons of Gad and to the half scion of Menash Sheh, in the land of Gilad, Pinechas the son of El Azar the priest;

³⁰ And when Pinechas the priest and the hierarchs of the witness and heads of the thousands of Yisra El with him hear the words the sons of Reu Ben and the sons of Gad and the sons of Menash Sheh word, it well-pleases their eyes. ³¹ And Pinechas the son of El Azar the priest says to the sons of Reu Ben and to the sons of Gad and to the sons of Menash Sheh, This day we perceive that Yah Veh is among us; because you treasoned not this treason against Yah Veh: then you have rescued the sons of Yisra El from the hand of Yah Veh. ³² And Pinechas the son of El Azar the priest and the hierarchs return from the sons of Reu Ben and from the sons of Gad from the land of Gilad to the land of Kenaan to the sons of Yisra El; and return them word:

³³ And El Azar the son of Aharon dies; and they entomb him in a hill of Pinechas his son, given him in mount Ephrayim.

²⁸ and Pinechas the son of El Azar the son of Aharon stands at the face of it in those days, saying, Go I yet again to war against the sons of Ben Yamin - my brother? Or cease? And Yah Veh says, Ascend; for tomorrow I give them into your hand.

And after these words, in the sovereigndom of Artach Shashta sovereign of Persia, Ezra the son of Sera Yah the son of Azar Yah, the son of Hilqi Yah ² the son of Shallum the son of Sadoq the son of Achiy Tub ³ the son of Amar Yah the son of Azar Yah the son of Merayoth ⁴ the son of Zerach Yah the son of Uzzi the son of Buqqi ⁵ the son of Abi Shua the son of Pinechas the son of El Azar the son of Aharon the head priest

² of the sons of Pinechas: Gershom; of the sons of Iy Thamar: Daniel; of the sons of David: Hattush;

³⁰ and Pinechas stands and prays; and the plague restrains: ³¹ and it was fabricated to him for justness generation to generation eternally.

¹⁷ and Sadoq the son of Achiy Tub and Achiy Melech the son of Abi Athar are priests; and Sera Yah is the scribe;

²⁷ And the sovereign says to Sadoq the priest, Are you a seer? Return to the city in shalom with your two sons, Achiy Maas your son and Yah Nathan the son of Abi Athar.

³⁵ And are there not with you Sadoq and Abi Athar the priests? And so be it, whatever word you hear from the house of the sovereign, tell it to Sadoq and Abi Athar the priests. ³⁶ Behold, their two sons are with them, Achiy Maas of Sadoq and Yah Nathan of Abi Athar; and every word you hear, send me by their hand.

¹⁵ Then Hushay says to Sadoq and to Abi Athar the priests, Achiy Thophel counsels thus and thus and Abi Shalom and the elders of Yisra El; and I counsel thus and thus:

¹⁷ And Yah Nathan and Achiy Maas stay by En Rogel; for they cannot be seen to come into the city: and a maid goes and tells them; and they go and tell sovereign David:

²⁰ And when the servants of Abi Shalom come to the house of the woman, they say, Where are Achiy Maas and Yah Nathan? And the woman says to them, They pass over the streamlet of water. - and they seek and cannot find them and they return to Yeru Shalem.

¹⁹ Then Achiy Maas the son of Sadoq says, Run me to bear the evangelism to the sovereign; for Yah Veh judged him by the hand of his enemies.

²² and Achiy Maas the son of Sadoq adds to say to Yah Ab, And whatever it be, have me, I pray you, also run after Kushiy. And Yah Ab says, Why is this - that you run, my son, seeing you have no evangelism to present?

²⁷ And the watcher says, I see the racing of the first as the racing of Achiy Maas the son of Sadoq. And the sovereign says, He is a good man and comes with good evangelism. ²⁸ And Achiy Maas calls to the sovereign and says, Shalom. And he prostrates to the earth on his nostrils at the face of the sovereign and says, Blessed - Yah Veh your Elohim who shut up the men who lifted their hand against my adoni the sovereign. ²⁹ And the sovereign says, Is the lad Abi Shalom at shalom? And Achiy Maas says, When Yah Ab sent the servant of the sovereign and your servant, I saw a great multitude, but I knew not what it is.

²⁵ and Sheya is scribe: and Sadoq and Abi Athar are priests:

⁸ And Sadoq the priest and Bena Yah the son of Yah Yada and Nathan the prophet and Shimi and Rei and the mighty of David are not with Adoni Yah.

³⁴ and there Sadoq the priest and Nathan the prophet anoint him sovereign over Yisra El: and you blast with the shophar and say, Sovereign Shelomoh lives:

⁴⁴ and the sovereign sends with him Sadoq the priest and Nathan the prophet and Bena Yah the son of Yah Yada and the executioners and the couriers and they ride him on the mule of the sovereign:

³⁵ and the sovereign gives Bena Yah the son of Yah Yada over the host in his stead: and the sovereign gives Sadoq the priest in the stead of Abi Athar.

THE BUILDING OF THE HOUSE OF YAH VEH
And so be it, in the four hundred and eightieth year after the sons of Yisra El go from the land of Misrayim - in the fourth year of the reign of Shelomoh over Yisra El - the month Zif - the second month he begins to build the house of Yah Veh. ² And the house sovereign Shelomoh builds for Yah Veh, sixty cubits long and twenty wide and thirty cubits high; ³ and the porch at the face of the manse of the house, twenty cubits long at the face of the width of the house, and ten cubits wide at the face of the house. ⁴ And for the house he works lookouts of shuttered lights: ⁵ and against the wall of the house he builds chambers all around against the walls of the house - all around the manse and the pulpit: and he works ribs all around: ⁶ the nethermost chamber, five cubits wide; and the middle, six cubits wide; and the third, seven cubits wide: and outside the house he gives ledges all around not held to the walls of the house. ⁷ And in building, the house is built of stone which they shalam at the quarry: so that, in building, they hear neither hammer nor axe nor instrument of iron in the house.

SHELOMOH BEGINS TO BUILD THE HOUSE OF YAH VEH
And Shelomoh begins to build the house of Yah Veh at Yeru Shalem in mount Mori Yah; where he is seen by David his father in the place David prepared in the threshingfloor of Ornan the Yebusiy:

⁴ and the porch at the face - the length at the face, as the width of the house, twenty cubits; and the height, a hundred and twenty: and he overlays it inside with pure gold:

¹⁷ And Azar Yah the priest goes in after him and eighty priests of Yah Veh with him - sons of valour: ¹⁸ and they withstand Uzzi Yah the sovereign and say to him, This becomes you not, Uzzi Yah, to incense to Yah Veh: but only to the priests, the sons of Aharon, who are hallowed to incense: go from the holies; for you treason; it is not for your honor from Yah Veh Elohim. ¹⁹ And Uzzi Yah rages: and has a censer in his hand to incense: and as he rages with the priests, the leprosy rises in his forehead at the face of the priests in the house of Yah Veh beside the incense sacrifice altar. ²⁰ And Azar Yah, the head priest and all the priests face him, and behold, he is leprous in his forehead and they hasten him from thence; yes, he himself also hastens to go out because Yah Veh touched him:

³ the son of Amar Yah the son of Azar Yah the son of Merayoth

¹¹ and Azar Yah the son of Hilqi Yah the son of Meshullam the son of Sadoq the son of Merayoth the son of Achiy Tub - eminent of the house of Elohim;

¹¹ Sera Yah the son of Hilqi Yah the son of Meshullam the son of Sadoq the son of Merayoth the son of Achiy Tub is the eminent of the house of Elohim;

⁴ Ascend to Hilqi Yah the great priest, to consummate the silver brought into the house of Yah Veh which the guards of the threshold gathered of the people:

⁴ And the sovereign misvahs Hilqi Yah the great priest and the priests of the second order and the guards of the threshold - to bring from the manse of Yah Veh all the instruments worked for Baal and for the asherah and for all the host of the heavens: and he burns them outside Yeru Shalem in the fields of Qidron; and lifts their dust to Beth El.

¹² And the sovereign misvahs Hilqi Yah the priest and Achiy Qam the son of Shaphan and Achbor the son of Michah Yah and Shaphan the scribe and Asah Yah a servant of the sovereign saying, ¹³ Go you, enquire of Yah Veh for me and for the people and for all Yah Hudah concerning the words of this scroll they found: for the great fury of Yah Veh kindles against us; because our fathers hearkened not to the words of this scroll - to work according to all inscribed concerning us. ¹⁴ And Hilqi Yah the priest and Achiy Qam and Achbor and Shaphan and Asah Yah go to Huldah the prophetess the woman of Shallum the son of Tiqvah the son of Harchas the guard of the clothes; - and she settles in Yeru Shalem - in the second and they word with her.

\b \ul THE SCROLL OF THE TORAH IS FOUND nd they bring out the silver brought into the house of Yah Veh: and Hilqi Yah the priest finds a scroll of the torah of Yah Veh by the hand of Mosheh: ¹⁵ and Hilqi Yah answers and says to Shaphan the scribe, I found the scroll of the torah in the house of Yah Veh. And Hilqi Yah gives the scroll to Shaphan: ¹⁶ and Shaphan carries the scroll to the sovereign and returns word to the sovereign, saying, All that is given to the hand of your servants, they work: ¹⁷ - and they pour the silver found in the house of Yah Veh; and give it into the hand of the overseers and to the hand of the workers. ¹⁸ And Shaphan the scribe tells the sovereign, saying, Hilqi Yah the priest gave me a scroll. - and Shaphan calls it out at the face of the sovereign. ¹⁹ And so be it, the sovereign hears the words of the torah, and he rips his clothes: ²⁰ and the sovereign misvahs Hilqi Yah and Achiy Qam the son of Shaphan and Abdon the son of Michah Yah and Shaphan the scribe and Asah Yah a servant of the sovereign, saying,

³⁶ and every day you work a bullock - a kippurim for sin: and you sacrifice for sin on the sacrifice altar when you kapar/atone for it: and you anoint it to hallow it. ³⁷ Seven days you kapar/atone for the sacrifice altar and hallow it; and it becomes a sacrifice altar - a holy of holies: whatever touches the sacrifice altar becomes hallowed.

KIPPURIM GIFT
And Yah Veh words to Mosheh, saying, ¹² When you bear the heads of the sons of Yisra El who are mustered, then every man gives a koper/an atonement for his soul to Yah Veh when you muster them: that no plague becomes among them, when you muster them. ¹³ This they give - everyone passing among them who are mustered: a half shekel after the shekel of the holies - a shekel is twenty gerahs: a half shekel is the exaltment to Yah Veh. ¹⁴ Everyone passing among them who are mustered - sons of twenty years and above gives an exaltment to Yah Veh. ¹⁵ The rich abound no more and the poor diminish no less than a half shekel to give an exaltment to Yah Veh to kapar/atone for your souls: ¹⁶ and you take the kippurim silver of the sons of Yisra El and give it for the service of the tent of the congregation; to become a memorial to the sons of Yisra El at the face of Yah Veh, to kapar/atone for your souls.

⁵ And he slaughters the son of the oxen at the face of Yah Veh: and the priests, the sons of Aharon, oblate the blood and sprinkle the blood all around on the sacrifice altar by the opening of the tent of the congregation:

⁷ And the sons of Aharon the priest give fire on the sacrifice altar and arrange the timber on the fire: ⁸ and the priests, the sons of Aharon, arrange the members - the head and the fat on the timber on the fire on the sacrifice altar: ⁹ and he baptizes the inwards and the legs in water: and the priest incenses all on the sacrifice altar - a holocaust - a firing of a scent of rest to Yah Veh.

PRIESTS ARE HALLOWED
And Yah Veh words to Mosheh, saying, ² Take Aharon and his sons with him and the clothes and the anointing oil and a bullock for the sin and two rams and a basket of matsah: ³ and congregate all the witness to the opening of the tent of the congregation. ⁴ - and Mosheh works as Yah Veh misvahed him; and congregates the witness to the opening of the tent of the congregation. ⁵ And Mosheh says to the witness, This is the word Yah Veh misvahed to work. ⁶
MOSHEH BAPTIZES THE PRIESTS
And Mosheh oblates Aharon and his sons and baptizes them in water: ⁷ and he gives the coat on him and girds him with the girdle and enrobes him with the mantle and gives the ephod on him and he girds him with the fabricated girdle of the ephod and binds it to him. ⁸ And he puts the breastplate on him: and in the breastplate he gives the Urim and the Thummim. ⁹ And he puts the tiara on his head: and on the tiara, on his forefront, he puts the golden blossom, the holy separatism as Yah Veh misvahed Mosheh. ¹⁰ And Mosheh takes the anointing oil and anoints the tabernacle and all therein and hallows them:

THE PRIESTHOOD
And Yah Veh says unto Mosheh, Say unto the priests the sons of Aharon, and say to them, No one fouls himself for a soul among his people ² except for his kinflesh who is near unto him - for his mother and for his father and for his son and for his daughter and for his brother ³ and for his virgin sister near him who has no man; for her he fouls. ⁴ No master fouls himself among his people to profane himself: ⁵ they neither balden their head nor shave the edge of their beard, nor incise any incisions in their flesh. ⁶ They are holy to their Elohim and profane not the name of their Elohim: for the firings unto Yah Veh and the bread of their Elohim, they oblate: so they are holy. ⁷ They neither take a woman whore or profane nor take they a woman expelled from her man: for he is holy unto his Elohim. ⁸ Hallow him; for he oblates the bread of thy Elohim: he is holy to you: for I - Yah Veh who hallows you - holy. ⁹ And the daughter of a man - a priest, when she profanes herself by whoring, she profanes her father: burn her with fire. ¹⁰ And he who is the great priest among his brethren, upon whose head the anointing oil is poured and fills his hand to enrobe the clothes, neither exposes his head nor tears his clothes; ¹¹ he neither goes in to any soul that died nor fouls himself for his father or for his mother; ¹² neither goes he out of the holies nor profanes the holies of his Elohim: for the separatism of the anointing oil of his Elohim is upon him: I - Yah Veh. ¹³ And he takes a woman in her virginity. ¹⁴ A widow or expelled or profane, or one who whores, he takes not: but he takes a virgin of his own people to woman. ¹⁵ He profanes not his seed among his people: for I Yah Veh hallow him. ¹⁶ And Yah Veh words to Mosheh, saying, ¹⁷ Word to Aharon, saying, Any man of your seed in their generations who has any blemish, approaches not to oblate the bread of his Elohim. ¹⁸ For no man having a blemish, approaches: a blind man or lame or disfigured or spread ¹⁹ or a man brokenfooted or brokenhanded ²⁰ or archbacked or thin or has a cataract in his eye or scurvied or scabbed or his testicles castrated ²¹ - no man of the seed of Aharon the priest who has a blemish comes near to oblate the firings unto Yah Veh: he has a blemish: he comes not near to oblate the bread of his Elohim. ²² He eats the bread of his Elohim, both of the holy of holies and of the holies:

THE DEATH OF MOSHEH So Mosheh the servant of Yah Veh dies there in the land of Moab according to the mouth of Yah Veh:

And Yah Veh words to Mosheh in the plains of Moab by Yarden near Yericho, saying, ² Misvah the sons of Yisra El, to give the Leviym cities to settle for the inheritance of their possession: and also give the Leviym suburbs for the cities all around them: ³ and the cities to settle in are for them; and the suburbs are for their animals and for their acquisitions and for all their live beings. ⁴ And the suburbs of the cities you give the Leviym, are from the wall of the city and outward - a thousand cubits all around: ⁵ and measure from outside the city - on the east edge two thousand cubits and on the south edge two thousand cubits and on the seaward edge two thousand cubits and on the north edge two thousand cubits; with the city in the middle: these are their suburbs of the cities. ⁶
ALLOTTING CITIES OF REFUGE TO THE LEVIYM
And the cities you give to the Leviym, six cities are for refuge to give the murderer to flee to: and give them forty-two cities. ⁷ So all the cities you give to the Leviym, forty-eight cities - them with their suburbs: ⁸ and the cities you give are of the possession of the sons of Yisra El: from the many, you greaten; and from the few, you lessen: every man gives of his cities to the Leviym according to the mouth of the inheritance he inherits.

³ And the sons of Yisra El give to the Leviym from their inheritance at the mouth of Yah Veh these cities and their suburbs. ⁴
THE PEBBLE OF THE QOHATHIY And the pebble for the families of the Qohathiy and the pebble for the sons of Aharon the priest of the Leviym, comes from the rod of Yah Hudah and from the rod of Shimoniy and from the rod of Ben Yamin - thirteen cities. ⁵ And the pebble for the remaining sons of Qohath comes from the families of the rod of Ephrayim and from the rod of Dan and from the half rod of Menash Sheh - ten cities. ⁶

THE PEBBLE OF MERARI For the sons of Merari, for their families, comes from the rod of Reu Ben and from the rod of Gad and from the rod of Zebulun - twelve cities. ⁸ And the sons of Yisra El, by pebble, give these cities with their suburbs to the Leviym, as Yah Veh misvahed by the hand of Mosheh.

¹⁰ which the sons of Aharon of the families of the Qehathiy of the sons of Levi, have; for theirs is the first pebble:
