⁴ Whoever words, I know him! - and guards not his misvoth, is a liar and the truth is not in him:

² They cry to me, My Elohim, we - Yisra El, know you! ³ Yisra El casts off the good: an enemy pursues him.

¹⁶ They profess to know Elohim; but in works they deny: being abominable and distrusting and disapproved to every good work.

¹⁴ What benefit, my brothers, whenever one words that he has the trust and has not works? Can the trust save him? ¹⁵ Whenever a brother or sister is naked and lacks daily nourishment, ¹⁶ and one of you says to them, Go in shalom! Be warmed and filled! - and not give them those needful to the body; what benefit is it?

⁶ Whenever we say we have communion with him and walk in darkness, we lie and do not the truth:

⁸ whenever we say we have no sin we seduce ourselves and the truth is not in us:

¹⁰ whenever we say that we have not sinned we make him a liar and his word is not in us.

⁹ Whoever words that he is in the light and hates his brother is in darkness even until now:

²⁰ Whenever one says, Because I love Elohim! - and hates his brother, he is a liar: for whoever loves not his brother whom he sees, how can he love Elohim whom he sees not?
