² Because I exalted you from the dust and gave you eminence over my people Yisra El; and you walk in the way of Yarob Am and have my people Yisra El sin - to vex me with their sins:

²¹ And Mosheh says to Aharon, What work this people to you, that you bring so great a sin on them?

⁸ he raises the poor from the dust; and lifts the needy from the dunghill - to set them among volunteers - to inherit the throne of honor: for the pillars of the earth are unto Yah Veh and on them he set the world.

PROPHECY AGAINST THE HOUSEHOLD OF ELI And a man of Elohim comes to Eli, and says to him, Thus says Yah Veh: In exposing, exposed I myself to the house of your father when they were in Misrayim in the house of Paroh? ²⁸ And of all the scions of Yisra El choose I him to be my priest? - to holocaust on my sacrifice altar? Fight them until you finish them off! ¹⁹ And why hearken you not to the voice of Yah Veh, but swoop on the spoil and work evil in the eyes of Yah Veh?

¹⁹ Now I beseech you, that my adoni the sovereign hear the words of his servant: If Yah Veh goads you against me, have him scent an offering: and if sons of humanity, cursed are they at the face of Yah Veh; for they drive me out this day from being scraped into the inheritance of Yah Veh, saying, Go, serve other elohim.

Thus says Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El, I anointed you sovereign over Yisra El and I rescued you from the hand of Shaul; ⁸ and I give you the house of your adoni and the women of your adoni into your bosom and give you the house of Yisra El and of Yah Hudah; and if that be too little, I had added these and those to you. ⁹ Why despise you the word of Yah Veh to work evil in his eyes? ³³ After this word Yarob Am returns not from his evil way, but returns and works from the ends of the people priests of the bamahs: whoever delights, he fills his hand, and he becomes a priest of the bamahs. ³⁴ And this word becomes the sin of the house of Yarob Am to cut off and to desolate from off the face of the soil.

⁷ Go, say to Yarob Am, Thus says Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El, Because I exalted you from among the people; and gave you eminence over my people Yisra El;

¹⁶ and he gives up Yisra El because of the sins Yarob Am sins - who had Yisra El sin.

²⁶ and he works evil in the eyes of Yah Veh; and walks in the way of his father and in his sin wherewith he has Yisra El sin.

³⁴ and he works evil in the eyes of Yah Veh and walks in the way of Yarob Am and in his sin which he has Yisra El sin.
