²⁶ And David says to the men who stand by him, saying, What work you to the man who smites this Peleshethiy and turns aside the reproach from Yisra El? Who is this uncircumcised Peleshethiy, to reproach the ranks of the living Elohim?

²⁶ For who is there of all flesh, who hears the voice of the living Elohim wording from midst the fire, as we, and lives?

⁸ O Adonay, what say I, when Yisra El turns their necks from the face of their enemies? ⁹ For the Kenaaniy and all the settlers of the land hear of it, and surround us and cut off our name from the earth: and what work you to your great name?

² And Nachash the Ammoniy says to them, By this I cut with you, that I bore out all your right eyes and lay it for a reproach on all Yisra El.

⁶ And Yah Nathan says to the lad who bears his instruments, Come, and we pass over to the standing camp of these uncircumcised: perhaps Yah Veh works for us: for there is no hindrance to Yah Veh to save by many or by few.

¹⁰ And the Peleshethiy say, I reproach the ranks of Yisra El this day; give me a man, to fight together.

³⁶ your servant smote both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Peleshethiy becomes as one of them, seeing he reproaches the ranks of the living Elohim.

⁴ perhaps Yah Veh your Elohim hears all the words of Rab Shaqeh/the chief butler whom his adoni the sovereign of Ashshur sends to reproach the living Elohim; and reprove the words Yah Veh your Elohim heard: and lift a prayer for the survivors that are found.

⁹ And I say, The word you work is not good: ought you not to walk in the awe of our Elohim because of the reproach of the goyim our enemies?

¹³ you set us a reproach to our fellow tabernaclers; a derision and a ridicule to them all around us:

¹⁸ Remember this: an enemy reproaches Yah Veh; and the foolish people scorn your name.

¹² and return sevenfold to the bosom of our fellow tabernaclers - for the reproach wherewith they reproach you, O Adonay.

¹⁰ And Yah Veh is the Elohim of truth; he is the living Elohim and eternal sovereign: the earth quakes at his rage and the goyim contain not his rage.

¹⁶ Adonay, according to all your justness, I beseech you, turn away your wrath and your fury from your city Yeru Shalem - your holy mountain: because, for our sins and for the perversities of our fathers Yeru Shalem and your people are a reproach to all, all around us:

¹⁹ yes, Yah Veh answers to his people, Behold, I send you crop and juice and oil and satisfy you therewith: and I add not to give you as a reproach among the goyim:

⁹ For they themselves evangelize of us what manner of entrance we had to you; and how you turned from idols to Elohim to serve the living and true Elohim;

²⁰ And we know the Son of Elohim has come and gives us a mind to know him who is true: and we are in him who is true - in his Son Yah Shua Messiah. This is the true Elohim and eternal life.
