And the sons of Eli are sons of Beli Yaal; they know not Yah Veh.

¹⁷ Wherefore the sin of the lads is mighty great at the face of Yah Veh: because men scorn the offering of Yah Veh.

²² And Eli is mighty old, and hears of all his sons work to all Yisra El; and how they lie down with the women who host at the opening of the tent of the congregation. ²³ And he says to them, Why work you according to these words? for I hear of your evil words by all this people. ²⁴ No, my sons; for it is no good report that I hear: you cause the people of Yah Veh to trespass. ²⁵ When one man sins against man, Elohim prays for him: but when a man sins against Yah Veh, who prays for him? And they hearken not to the voice of their father, because Yah Veh desires to deathify them. ²⁶ And the lad Shemu El walks on and greatens, and is goodly - both with Yah Veh and also with men. ²⁷
PROPHECY AGAINST THE HOUSEHOLD OF ELI And a man of Elohim comes to Eli, and says to him, Thus says Yah Veh: In exposing, exposed I myself to the house of your father when they were in Misrayim in the house of Paroh? ²⁸ And of all the scions of Yisra El choose I him to be my priest? - to holocaust on my sacrifice altar? To incense incense? - to bear an ephod at my face? - to give the house of your father all the firings of the sons of Yisra El? ²⁹ Why trample you at my sacrifice and at my offering which I misvah in my habitation? - and honor your sons above me to cut the firstlings of all the offerings of Yisra El my people? ³⁰ So - an oracle of Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El In saying, I say, that your house and the house of your father walk at my face eternally: and now - an oracle of Yah Veh far be it from me; for they who honor me, I honor; and they who despise me, I abase. ³¹ Behold, the days come, that I cut off your arm and the arm of the house of your father that there not be an old man in your house. ³² And you, look at the tribulation of my habitation, in all that Elohim well-prepares for Yisra El: that there not be an old man in your house all days: ³³ and the man of yours, whom I cut not off from my sacrifice altar, finishes off your eyes and lanquishes your soul: and of all the increase of your house, these men die. ³⁴ And this is a sign to you to come on your two sons - on Hophni and Pinechas; in one day they die - both of them: ³⁵ and I raise me a trustworthy priest, to work according to what is in my heart and in my soul: and I build him a permanent house; and he walks at the face of my anointed all days. ³⁶ And so be it, every one who remains in your house comes and prostrates to him for a coin of silver and a round of bread, and says, Scrape me, I beseech you, into one of the priesthoods, that I may eat a morsel of bread.

⁶ and his father contorts him not all his days saying, Why have you worked so? And he also is mighty good of form; and he was birthed after Abi Shalom:

⁴⁴ The sovereign says to Shimi, You know all the evil your heart perceives which you worked to David my father; and Yah Veh returns your evil on your own head:

¹² O our Elohim, judge you them not? We have no force at the face of this great multitude who comes against us; and we know not what to work: but our eyes are on you.

¹⁸ Discipline your son while there is hope and lift not your soul for his death.

¹³ Withhold not discipline from the lad; when you smite him with the scion, he dies not: ¹⁴ smite him with the scion and rescue his soul from sheol.

¹⁵ The scion and reproof give wisdom; and a lad sent away shames his mother.

²² for often times also your own heart knows that you yourself also abased others.

³ now the end is on you; and I send my wrath on you and judge you according to your ways, and give all your abhorrences on you.

³⁰ So I judge you, O house of Yisra El, every man according to his ways - an oracle of Adonay Yah Veh. Repent, and turn from all your rebellions; so that perversity becomes not your stumblingblock.

¹² Waken, O goyim; and ascend to Gay Yah Shaphat/Valley Yah Judges: for there I sit to judge all the goyim all around.

³⁷ Whoever befriends father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and whoever befriends son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me:

²⁰ Because whenever our heart condemns us, Elohim is greater than our heart and knows all.
