THE SOVEREIGN OF ASHSHUR ENCAMPS AGAINST YERU SHALEM
After these words and this truth, Sancherib sovereign of Ashshur comes and enters Yah Hudah and encamps against the cut off cities; and says to split them for himself: 2 and Yechizqi Yah sees Sancherib come; and his face is to war against Yeru Shalem. 3 And he counsels with his governors and his mighty to stop the waters of the fountains outside the city: and they help him: 4 and much people gather and stop all the fountains and the wadi that overflows midst the land saying, Why come the sovereigns of Ashshur and find much water? 5 And he strengthens himself and builds all the broken wall so that it ascends to the towers; and another outer wall; and strengthens Millo the city of David: and works spears and bucklers in abundance. 6 And he gives governors of war over the people and gathers them to himself in the broadway of the portal of the city: and words to their heart, saying, 7 Strengthen! Encourage! Neither awe nor terrify at the face of the sovereign of Ashshur or at the face of all the multitude with him: for there are greater with us than with him: 8 with him - an arm of flesh; and with us - Yah Veh our Elohim to help us and to fight our wars. And the people prop on the words of Yechizqi Yah sovereign of Yah Hudah. 9 After this, Sancherib sovereign of Ashshur sends his servants to Yeru Shalem; - and he is by Lachish with all his reign against Yechizqi Yah sovereign of Yah Hudah and against all Yah Hudah at Yeru Shalem, saying, 10 Thus says Sancherib sovereign of Ashshur, Whereon confide you that you settle in the siege in Yeru Shalem? 11 Yechizqi Yah - goads he not you to give yourselves to die by famine and by thirst, saying, Yah Veh our Elohim rescues us from the palm of the sovereign of Ashshur? 12 Yechizqi Yah himself, turns he not aside his bamahs and his sacrifice altars and says to Yah Hudah and Yeru Shalem, saying, Worship at the face of one sacrifice altar and incense thereon? 13 Know you not what I and my fathers work to all the people of other lands? The elohim of the goyim of those lands are they able to rescue their lands from my hand? 14 Among all the elohim of those goyim my fathers devoted, who is able rescue his people from my hand - that your Elohim is able to rescue you from my hand? 15 And now neither may Yechizqi Yah deceive you, nor goad you thus, nor yet trust him: for no elohah of any goyim or sovereigndom is able to rescue his people from my hand and from the hand of my fathers: neither your Elohim rescues you from my hand. 16 And his servants still word against Yah Veh Elohim and against his servant Yechizqi Yah: 17 and he inscribes scrolls to reproach Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El to say against him, saying, As the elohim of the goyim of other lands have not rescued their people from my hand, thus Elohim of Yechizqi Yah rescues not his people from my hand. 18 And they call out with a great voice in Yah Hudahaic to the people of Yeru Shalem on the wall - to awe them and to terrify them; and to capture the city: 19 and they word against the Elohim of Yeru Shalem as against the elohim of the people of the earth - the work of the hands of hamuanity. 20 And Yechizqi Yah the sovereign and the prophet Yesha Yah the son of Amos pray and cry to the heavens: 21 and Yah Veh sends an angel who cuts off all the mighty of valour and the eminent and governors in the camp of the sovereign of Ashshur: and he returns with shamed face to his own land. And he comes to the house of his elohim; and the offspring of his inwards fell him there with the sword: 22 and Yah Veh saves Yechizqi Yah and the settlers of Yeru Shalem from the hand of Sancherib the sovereign of Ashshur and from the hand of all others; and guides them all around. 23 And many bring offerings to Yah Veh to Yeru Shalem; and preciousnesses to Yechizqi Yah sovereign of Yah Hudah: so that he is lifted in the eyes of all goyim thereafter. 24 In those days, Yechizqi Yah is sick to die and prays to Yah Veh: and he says to him and he gives him an omen: 25 and Yechizqi Yah returns not according as he was dealt; for his heart lifts: and there is rage on him and on Yah Hudah and Yeru Shalem: 26 and Yechizqi Yah humbles himself for the haughtiness of his heart - he and the settlers of Yeru Shalem; so that the rage of Yah Veh comes not on them in the days of Yechizqi Yah: 27 and Yechizqi Yah abounds mightily in riches and honor: and he works himself treasuries for silver and for gold and for esteemed stones and for spices and for bucklers and for all manner of instruments of desire 28 - storage for the produce of crop and juice and oil; and stalls for animal by animal and stalls for droves: 29 and he works cities and chattels of flocks and oxen in abundance: for Elohim gives him mighty much acquisition. 30 This is the same Yechizqi Yah who stopped the upper watersprings of Gichon and brought it downward - duskward of the city of David - and Yechizqi Yah prospers in all his works. 31 And thus, by the interpreters of the governors of Babel, who send to him to enquire of the omen in the land, Elohim left him, to test him, to know all that is in his heart. 32

6 and says, O Yah Veh Elohim of our fathers, Are you not Elohim in the heavens? Yes, you reign over all the sovereigndoms of the goyim! And force and might are in your hand so that no one is able to withstand you! 7 Are not you our Elohim who dispossessed the settlers of this land at the face of your people Yisra El? And gave it to the seed of Abraham your beloved eternally? 8 And they settle therein and build you a holies for your name, saying, 9 If, evil comes on us, as the sword, judgment or pestilence or famine we stand at the face of this house and at your face - for your name is in this house and cry to you in our tribulation; and you hear and save. 10 And now, behold, the sons of Ammon and Moab and mount Seir, whom you gave not Yisra El to invade when they came from the land of Misrayim - for they turned aside from them and desolated them not: 11 - and behold, how they deal us, to come to expel us from the possession you gave us to possess. 12 O our Elohim, judge you them not? MENASH SHEH REIGNS IN YERU SHALEM
Menash Sheh is a son of twelve years when he begins to reign and he reigns fifty-five years in Yeru Shalem: 2 and works evil in the eyes of Yah Veh - like the abhorrences of the goyim whom Yah Veh dispossessed at the face of the sons of Yisra El: 3 and he returns and builds the bamahs Yechizqi Yah his father pulled down; and he raises sacrifice altars for Baalim and works asherim; and prostrates to all the host of the heavens and serves them; 4 and he builds sacrifice altars in the house of Yah Veh whereof Yah Veh says, In Yeru Shalem is my name eternally. 5 And he builds sacrifice altars for all the host of the heavens in the two courts of the house of Yah Veh: 6 and he passes his sons through the fire in the valley of the son of burning: and he cloudglazes and prognosticates and sorcers: and works with a necromancer and with knowers: he abounds to work evil in the eyes of Yah Veh to vex him. 7 And he sets a sculptile - a figurine he worked in the house of Elohim, of which Elohim said to David and to Shelomoh his son, In this house and in Yeru Shalem which I chose from all the scions of Yisra El I set my name eternally: 8 I neither turn aside the foot of Yisra El from the soil which I stood for your fathers; so that they guard to work all I misvahed them, according to the whole torah and the statutes and the judgments by the hand of Mosheh. 9 And Menash Sheh leads Yah Hudah and the settlers of Yeru Shalem astray; and to work evil above the goyim whom Yah Veh desolated at the face of the sons of Yisra El: 10 and Yah Veh words to Menash Sheh and to his people but they hearkened not: 11 and Yah Veh brings on them the governors of the host of the sovereign of Ashshur who capture Menash Sheh among the thorns and bind him with copper and walk him to Babel: 12 and he is tribulated, and he strokes the face of Yah Veh his Elohim and humbles himself mightily at the face of Elohim of his fathers;

2 Chronicles 33:12-20

12 and he is tribulated, and he strokes the face of Yah Veh his Elohim and humbles himself mightily at the face of Elohim of his fathers; 13 and prays to him: and he is intreated of him and hears his supplication and returns him to Yeru Shalem to his sovereigndom. - and Menash Sheh knows Yah Veh - he is Elohim. 14 And after this he builds a wall outside the city of David duskward of Gichon, in the wadi, to the entrance at the fish portal and surrounds Ophel and heightens it mightily; and sets governors of valour in all the cut off cities of Yah Hudah: 15 and he turns aside the strange elohim and the figurine from the house of Yah Veh and all the sacrifice altars he built in the mount of the house of Yah Veh and in Yeru Shalem; and casts them outside the city: 16 and he builds the sacrifice altar of Yah Veh and sacrifices sacrifices of shelamim thereon and sacrifices of spread hands; and says to Yah Hudah to serve Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El. 17 - and the people still sacrifice in the bamahs, but only to Yah Veh their Elohim. 18 And the rest of the words of Menash Sheh and his prayer to his Elohim and the words of the seers who worded to him in the name of Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El, behold, they are in the words of the sovereigns of Yisra El: 19 and his prayer and his entreaty and all his sins and his treason; and the places he built bamahs and stood asherim and sculptiles at the face of his being humbled: behold, they are inscribed among the words of seers/Hozay.

19 and his prayer and his entreaty and all his sins and his treason; and the places he built bamahs and stood asherim and sculptiles at the face of his being humbled: behold, they are inscribed among the words of seers/Hozay. 20 And Menash Sheh lies down with his fathers - entombed in his own house: and Amon his son reigns in his stead.

And they return word to the sovereign:

Ezra 7:15-22

15 and to bring the silver and gold the sovereign and his counsellors volunteer to Elah of Yisra El, whose tabernacle is in Yeru Shalem: 16 and all the silver and gold you find in all the jurisdiction of Babel - with the voluntary of the people and of the priests who volunteer for the house of their Elah in Yeru Shalem: 17 so with this silver, diligently buy bulls, rams, lambs, with their offerings and their libations; and oblate them on the sacrifice altar of the house of your Elah in Yeru Shalem. 18 And whatever well-pleases you and your brothers to do with the silver and the gold that survives, do after the intention of your Elah: 19 and shalam the vessels given you for the service of the house of your Elah, in front of the Elah of Yeru Shalem: 20 and the rest of the needs for the house of your Elah whatever befalls you to give - give from the treasure house of the sovereign. 21 And from me, even I - Artach Shashta the sovereign set a decree to all the treasurers beyond the river - that all that Ezra the priest, the scribe of the edict of Elah of the heavens, asks of you, do diligently 22 - to a hundred rounds of silver and to a hundred measures of wheat and to a hundred baths of fermentation and to a hundred baths of anointing oil and salt not scribed:

Isaiah 8:6-8

6 Because this people refuses the waters of Shiloach that come gently and in joy with Resin and the son of Remal Yah; 7 so, behold, Adonay ascends upon them the waters of the river, mighty and many, the sovereign of Ashshur and all his honor: and he ascends over all his reservoirs and goes over all his banks: 8 and he passes through Yah Hudah; he overflows and passes over; he touches to the neck: and the spreading of his wings fills the breadth of your land, O Immanu El.

Or greatens the rasp over him who shakes it? - as a scion shakes them who lift it? Or as a rod lifts itself with no timber? 16 So Adonay - Adonay Sabaoth sends emaciation among his fatness; and under his honor he burns a burning as the burning of a fire: 17 and the light of Yisra El is for a fire, and his Holy One for a flame: and in one day it burns and consumes his thorns and his briers; 18 and finishes off the honor of his forest and of his orchard/Karmel - both soul and flesh: to become as when an ensignbearer melts: 19 and the survivors of the trees of his forest become a number, that even a lad can inscribe them.

Isaiah 10:24-25

24 So Adonay Yah Veh Sabaoth says thus: O my people settling in Siyon, awe not the Ashshuri: he smites you with a scion and lifts his rod against you after the way of Misrayim: 25 for yet a very little while, and I conclude the rage, and my wrath in their consumption.

Isaiah 10:33-34

33 Behold, Adonay Yah Veh Sabaoth lops the foliage with violence: and cuts the high ones of height and abases the lofty: 34 and he strikes the thickets of the forest with iron, and Lebanon falls by the mighty.

Isaiah 14:32

32 What then, answers one, of the angels of the goyim? That Yah Veh founded Siyon, and the humble of his people seek refuge therein.

Isaiah 17:12-14

12 Ho to the multitude of many people who roar as the roar of the seas; and to the uproar of nations who waste as the wasting of many waters! 13 The nations roar as the roaring of many waters: and he rebukes and they flee far off - pursued as the chaff of the mountains at the face of the wind - as a whirler at the face of the hurricane. 14 And behold, at evening time, terror; and ere the morning, is not. This is the allotment of them who spoil us, and the pebble of them who plunder us.

Isaiah 22:8-11

8 and he exposes the covering of Yah Hudah: and in that day, you look to the armour of the house of the forest: 9 you also see the fissures of the city of David abounding by the myriads: and you gather together the waters of the nether pool:

Isaiah 22:9-10

9 you also see the fissures of the city of David abounding by the myriads: and you gather together the waters of the nether pool: 10 and you scribe the houses of Yeru Shalem and you pull down the houses to fortify the wall:

Isaiah 22:10-10

10 and you scribe the houses of Yeru Shalem and you pull down the houses to fortify the wall: 11 and you work a reservoir between the two walls for the water of the old pool: and you neither look to the worker, nor see to him who formed it in the distant past.

Isaiah 29:5-8

5 And the multitude of your strangers pulverize, and the multitude of the tyrants pass away as chaff: yes, it becomes in a blink - suddenly: 6 Yah Veh Sabaoth visits you with thunder and with quake and great voice; with hurricane and storm and the flame of devouring fire: 7 and the multitude of all the goyim hosting against Ari El, even all her host and her hunthold, even those distressing her, become as a dream of a night vision. 8 And so be it, as when the famished dream: and behold, he eats; and he wakens and his soul is empty: or as when a thirsty man dreams, and behold, he drinks; and he wakens, and behold, he languishes, and his soul yearns: thus is the multitude of all the goyim who host against mount Siyon.

Isaiah 30:30-33

30 And Yah Veh has his voice of majesty to be heard; and the resting of his arm to be seen with the rage of his wrath and the flame of a consuming fire - scattering and flood and hailstones. 31 For through the voice of Yah Veh the Ashshuri are beaten down - he smites with a scion. 32 And in every passage the founded rod passes, which Yah Veh rests upon him - with tambourines and harps: and in wars of waving, he fights with it. 33 For Topheth lined up since yesterday; yes, prepared for the sovereign; he deepens and enlarges: the fuel pile is fire and abounding timber; the breath of Yah Veh, as a wadi of sulphur, burns it.

Isaiah 31:4-5

4 For Yah Veh says thus to me, As the lion and the whelp meditate on his prey when a fulness of tenders call against him, he neither terrifies by their voice nor humbles himself for the multitude: thus Yah Veh Sabaoth descends to fight for mount Siyon and for the hill. 5 As birds flying, thus Yah Veh Sabaoth garrisons Yeru Shalem: and in garrisoning, he delivers; and passing over he rescues.

Isaiah 33:10-12

10 Now I rise, says Yah Veh; now I am exalted; now I am lifted. 11 You conceive hay, you birth stubble: your spirit, as fire, consumes you: 12 and the people become as the calcinations of lime - as thorns cut up - burned in the fire.

Isaiah 33:22

22 For Yah Veh our judge; Yah Veh our statute setter; Yah Veh our sovereign; he saves us.

Isaiah 35:4

4 Say to the hasty heart, Be strong! Awe not! Behold, your Elohim! Avengement comes - the dealing of Elohim; he comes and saves you.

Isaiah 36:1-37:38

1
SANCHERIB APPREHENDS YAH HUDAH
And so be it, in the fourteenth year of sovereign Yechizqi Yah, Sancherib sovereign of Ashshur ascends against all the fortified cities of Yah Hudah and apprehends them:

4 And Rab Shaqeh says to them, You, say, I beseech, to Yechizqi Yah, Thus says the great sovereign - the sovereign of Ashshur, What is this confidence wherein you confide? 5 I say, surely, words of lips! Counsel and might are for war! Now on whom confide you, to rebel against me?

Isaiah 36:5-22

5 I say, surely, words of lips! Counsel and might are for war! Now on whom confide you, to rebel against me? 6 Behold, you confide in the crutch of this crushed stalk - on Misrayim; whereon, if a man props, it goes into his palm, and pierces: thus is Paroh sovereign of Misrayim to all who confide in him.

Isaiah 36:6-22

6 Behold, you confide in the crutch of this crushed stalk - on Misrayim; whereon, if a man props, it goes into his palm, and pierces: thus is Paroh sovereign of Misrayim to all who confide in him. 7 And if you say to me, We confide in Yah Veh our Elohim! - is it not he, whose bamahs and whose sacrifice altars Yechizqi Yah turned aside, and said to Yah Hudah and to Yeru Shalem, Prostrate you at the face of this sacrifice altar?

Isaiah 36:7

7 And if you say to me, We confide in Yah Veh our Elohim! - is it not he, whose bamahs and whose sacrifice altars Yechizqi Yah turned aside, and said to Yah Hudah and to Yeru Shalem, Prostrate you at the face of this sacrifice altar?

Isaiah 36:7-22

Isaiah 36:8-22

8 And now pledge, I beseech you, to my adoni the sovereign of Ashshur, and I give you two thousand horses, if you are able on your part to give riders on them. 9 And how turn you away the face of one governor of the lesser of the servants of my adoni, and confide on Misrayim for chariots and for cavalry?

Isaiah 36:9

9 And how turn you away the face of one governor of the lesser of the servants of my adoni, and confide on Misrayim for chariots and for cavalry?

Isaiah 36:9-22

9 And how turn you away the face of one governor of the lesser of the servants of my adoni, and confide on Misrayim for chariots and for cavalry? 10 And now ascend I without Yah Veh against this land to ruin it? Yah Veh said to me, Ascend against this land, and ruin it.

Isaiah 36:10-22

10 And now ascend I without Yah Veh against this land to ruin it? Yah Veh said to me, Ascend against this land, and ruin it. 11 And El Yaqim and Shebna and Yah Ach say to Rab Shaqeh, Word, I beseech you, to your servants in Aramaic; for we hear: and word not to us in Yah Hudaic, in the ears of the people on the wall.

Isaiah 36:11-22

11 And El Yaqim and Shebna and Yah Ach say to Rab Shaqeh, Word, I beseech you, to your servants in Aramaic; for we hear: and word not to us in Yah Hudaic, in the ears of the people on the wall. 12 And Rab Shaqeh says, Has my adoni sent me to your adoni to word these words to you? Is it not to the men who sit on the wall to eat their own excrements and drink the urine at their feet with you?

Isaiah 36:12

12 And Rab Shaqeh says, Has my adoni sent me to your adoni to word these words to you? Is it not to the men who sit on the wall to eat their own excrements and drink the urine at their feet with you?

Isaiah 36:12-22

12 And Rab Shaqeh says, Has my adoni sent me to your adoni to word these words to you? Is it not to the men who sit on the wall to eat their own excrements and drink the urine at their feet with you? 13 And Rab Shaqeh stands and calls out with a great voice in Yah Hudaic, and says, You, hear the words of the great sovereign the sovereign of Ashshur!

Isaiah 36:13

13 And Rab Shaqeh stands and calls out with a great voice in Yah Hudaic, and says, You, hear the words of the great sovereign the sovereign of Ashshur!

Isaiah 36:13-22

13 And Rab Shaqeh stands and calls out with a great voice in Yah Hudaic, and says, You, hear the words of the great sovereign the sovereign of Ashshur! 14 Thus says the sovereign, Neither let Yechizqi Yah deceive you: for he is not able to rescue you:

Isaiah 36:14-22

14 Thus says the sovereign, Neither let Yechizqi Yah deceive you: for he is not able to rescue you: 15 nor let Yechizqi Yah have you confide in Yah Veh, saying, In rescuing, Yah Veh rescues us. This city is not given into the hand of the sovereign of Ashshur.

Isaiah 36:15-22

15 nor let Yechizqi Yah have you confide in Yah Veh, saying, In rescuing, Yah Veh rescues us. This city is not given into the hand of the sovereign of Ashshur. 16 Hearken not to Yechizqi Yah: for thus says the sovereign of Ashshur, Work a blessing with me and come out to me and every man eat of his vine and every man of his fig tree; and every man drink the waters of his own well;

Isaiah 36:16-22

16 Hearken not to Yechizqi Yah: for thus says the sovereign of Ashshur, Work a blessing with me and come out to me and every man eat of his vine and every man of his fig tree; and every man drink the waters of his own well; 17 - until I come and take you away to a land like your own land - a land of crop and juice, a land of bread and vineyards;

Isaiah 36:17-22

17 - until I come and take you away to a land like your own land - a land of crop and juice, a land of bread and vineyards; 18 lest Yechizqi Yah goads you, saying, Yah Veh rescues us. Has any man of the elohim of the goyim rescued his land from the hand of the sovereign of Ashshur?

Isaiah 36:18

18 lest Yechizqi Yah goads you, saying, Yah Veh rescues us. Has any man of the elohim of the goyim rescued his land from the hand of the sovereign of Ashshur?

Isaiah 36:18-22

18 lest Yechizqi Yah goads you, saying, Yah Veh rescues us. Has any man of the elohim of the goyim rescued his land from the hand of the sovereign of Ashshur? 19 Where are the elohim of Hamath and Arphad? Where are the elohim of Sepharvayim? Rescued they Shomeron from my hand?

Isaiah 36:19-22

19 Where are the elohim of Hamath and Arphad? Where are the elohim of Sepharvayim? Rescued they Shomeron from my hand? 20 Who are they, among all the elohim of these lands, who rescued their land from my hand, that Yah Veh rescue Yeru Shalem from my hand?

Isaiah 36:20-22

20 Who are they, among all the elohim of these lands, who rescued their land from my hand, that Yah Veh rescue Yeru Shalem from my hand? 21 And they hush and answer him not a word: for the misvah of the sovereign is, saying, Answer him not.

Isaiah 36:21-22

21 And they hush and answer him not a word: for the misvah of the sovereign is, saying, Answer him not. 22 And El Yaqim the son of Hilqi Yah who is over the household, comes with Shebna the scribe, and Yah Ach the son of Asaph, the memorializer, to Yechizqi Yah with their clothes ripped, and tell him the words of Rab Shaqeh.

Isaiah 36:22-22

22 And El Yaqim the son of Hilqi Yah who is over the household, comes with Shebna the scribe, and Yah Ach the son of Asaph, the memorializer, to Yechizqi Yah with their clothes ripped, and tell him the words of Rab Shaqeh.

Isaiah 37:1-38

1 And so be it, when sovereign Yechizqi Yah hears, he rips his clothes and covers himself with saq, and goes into the house of Yah Veh.

Isaiah 37:1-4

1 And so be it, when sovereign Yechizqi Yah hears, he rips his clothes and covers himself with saq, and goes into the house of Yah Veh. 2 And he sends El Yaqim who is over the household, and Shebna the scribe and the elders of the priests covered with saq, to Yesha Yah the prophet the son of Amos:

Isaiah 37:2-4

2 And he sends El Yaqim who is over the household, and Shebna the scribe and the elders of the priests covered with saq, to Yesha Yah the prophet the son of Amos: 3 and they say to him, Thus says Yechizqi Yah, This day is a day of tribulation and of rebuke and of scorning: for the sons come to the matrix and there is no strength to birth.

Isaiah 37:3-4

3 and they say to him, Thus says Yechizqi Yah, This day is a day of tribulation and of rebuke and of scorning: for the sons come to the matrix and there is no strength to birth. 4 Perhaps Yah Veh your Elohim hears the words of Rab Shaqeh, whom the sovereign of Ashshur his adoni sent to reproach the living Elohim, and to reprove the words Yah Veh your Elohim heard: and to lift your prayer for the survivors who survive.

Isaiah 37:4-4

4 Perhaps Yah Veh your Elohim hears the words of Rab Shaqeh, whom the sovereign of Ashshur his adoni sent to reproach the living Elohim, and to reprove the words Yah Veh your Elohim heard: and to lift your prayer for the survivors who survive. 5 And the servants of sovereign Yechizqi Yah come to Yesha Yah: 6 and Yesha Yah says to them, You, say thus to your adoni, Thus says Yah Veh, Awe not at the face of the words you heard, wherewith the lads of the sovereign of Ashshur blasphemed me. 7 Behold, I give a spirit on him, and he hears a report, and returns to his own land; and I fell him by the sword in his own land. 8 And Rab Shaqeh returns, and finds the sovereign of Ashshur fighting Libnah: for he heard that he departed from Lachish:

Isaiah 37:8

8 And Rab Shaqeh returns, and finds the sovereign of Ashshur fighting Libnah: for he heard that he departed from Lachish: 9 and he heard say concerning Tirhaqah sovereign of Kush, He comes to fight you. And he hears, and sends angels to Yechizqi Yah, saying, 10 You, say thus to Yechizqi Yah sovereign of Yah Hudah, saying, Let not your Elohim, in whom you confide, deceive you, saying, Yeru Shalem is not given into the hand of the sovereign of Ashshur. 11 Behold, you heard what the sovereigns of Ashshur worked to all lands by devoting them - and rescue you? 12 The elohim of the goyim whom my fathers ruined - Gozan and Haran and Reseph and the sons of Eden which were in Telassar - rescued they them?

Isaiah 37:12-13

12 The elohim of the goyim whom my fathers ruined - Gozan and Haran and Reseph and the sons of Eden which were in Telassar - rescued they them? 13 Where is the sovereign of Hamath? And the sovereign of Arphad? And the sovereign of the city of Sepharvayim, Hena, and Avvah?

Isaiah 37:13-13

13 Where is the sovereign of Hamath? And the sovereign of Arphad? And the sovereign of the city of Sepharvayim, Hena, and Avvah? 14 And Yechizqi Yah takes the scroll from the hand of the angels, and calls it out: and Yechizqi Yah ascends to the house of Yah Veh and spreads it at the face of Yah Veh:

Isaiah 37:14

14 And Yechizqi Yah takes the scroll from the hand of the angels, and calls it out: and Yechizqi Yah ascends to the house of Yah Veh and spreads it at the face of Yah Veh:

Isaiah 37:14-20

14 And Yechizqi Yah takes the scroll from the hand of the angels, and calls it out: and Yechizqi Yah ascends to the house of Yah Veh and spreads it at the face of Yah Veh: 15 and Yechizqi Yah prays to Yah Veh, saying,

Isaiah 37:15-20

15 and Yechizqi Yah prays to Yah Veh, saying, 16 O Yah Veh Sabaoth, Elohim of Yisra El, who settles on the cherubim - you Elohim - you only of all the sovereigndoms of the earth; who worked the heavens and earth:

Isaiah 37:16-20

16 O Yah Veh Sabaoth, Elohim of Yisra El, who settles on the cherubim - you Elohim - you only of all the sovereigndoms of the earth; who worked the heavens and earth: 17 spread your ear, O Yah Veh, and hear; open your eyes, O Yah Veh, and see: and hear all the words of Sancherib, who sent to reproach the living Elohim.

Isaiah 37:17-20

17 spread your ear, O Yah Veh, and hear; open your eyes, O Yah Veh, and see: and hear all the words of Sancherib, who sent to reproach the living Elohim. 18 Truly, O Yah Veh, the sovereigns of Ashshur parched all the lands, and their lands;

Isaiah 37:18-20

18 Truly, O Yah Veh, the sovereigns of Ashshur parched all the lands, and their lands; 19 and gave their elohim into the fire: for they are no elohim - only the work of human hands, timber and stone: they destroyed them.

Isaiah 37:19-20

19 and gave their elohim into the fire: for they are no elohim - only the work of human hands, timber and stone: they destroyed them.

Isaiah 37:19

19 and gave their elohim into the fire: for they are no elohim - only the work of human hands, timber and stone: they destroyed them. 20 And now, O Yah Veh our Elohim, save us from his hand, so that all the kingdoms of the earth know that you are Yah Veh - you only.

Isaiah 37:20-20

20 And now, O Yah Veh our Elohim, save us from his hand, so that all the kingdoms of the earth know that you are Yah Veh - you only. 21 And Yesha Yah the son of Amos sends to Yechizqi Yah, saying, Thus says Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El, That which you prayed to me against Sancherib sovereign of Ashshur,

Isaiah 37:21

21 And Yesha Yah the son of Amos sends to Yechizqi Yah, saying, Thus says Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El, That which you prayed to me against Sancherib sovereign of Ashshur, 22 this is the word Yah Veh words concerning him: The virgin, the daughter of Siyon, despises you, ridicules you; the daughter of Yeru Shalem shakes her head behind you. 23 Whom reproach you? And blaspheme? And against whom exalt you your voice? And lift your eyes on high? Against the Holy One of Yisra El!

Isaiah 37:23-24

23 Whom reproach you? And blaspheme? And against whom exalt you your voice? And lift your eyes on high? Against the Holy One of Yisra El! 24 By the hand of your servants you reproach Adonay, and say, By the abundance of my chariots I ascend to the height of the mountains - to the flanks of Lebanon; and I cut down the height of the cedars and the choice fir trees: and I enter the height of his edge and the forest of his Karmel/orchard:

Isaiah 37:24-24

24 By the hand of your servants you reproach Adonay, and say, By the abundance of my chariots I ascend to the height of the mountains - to the flanks of Lebanon; and I cut down the height of the cedars and the choice fir trees: and I enter the height of his edge and the forest of his Karmel/orchard: 25 I dig and drink water; and with the sole of my steps I parch all the rivers of the rampart. 26 Heard you not in the distant past, that I worked it? Of ancient days, that I formed it? now I bring it to become, for you to waste fortified cities into desolate heaps. 27 And their settlers are short handed - dismayed and shamed - as the herbage of the field and as the green sprouts; as the grass on the roofs and as the field at the face of the stalks. 28 And I know your sitting and your coming and your going; and your quaking against me:

Isaiah 37:28-29

28 And I know your sitting and your coming and your going; and your quaking against me: 29 because of your quaking against me your uproar ascends into my ears: I set my hook in your nostrils and my bit in your lips; and I turn you back by the way you came.

Isaiah 37:29-29

29 because of your quaking against me your uproar ascends into my ears: I set my hook in your nostrils and my bit in your lips; and I turn you back by the way you came. 30 And this is a sign to you, This year you eat the spontaneous growth; and the second year the spontaneous growth: and in the third year you seed and harvest and plant vineyards and eat the fruit. 31 And the escapees of the house of Yah Hudah who survive again take root downward and work fruit upward: 32 for survivors come from Yeru Shalem and the escapees from mount Siyon: the zeal of Yah Veh Sabaoth works this. 33 So Yah Veh says thus concerning the sovereign of Ashshur, He neither comes into this city, nor shoots an arrow there; neither anticipates with buckler, nor pours a bank against it. 34 By the way he came, by the same he returns, and comes not into this city - an oracle of Yah Veh. 35 For I garrison this city to save it for my own sake and for sake of my servant David. 36 And the angel of Yah Veh goes and smites a hundred and eighty-five thousand in the camp of Ashshur: and they start early in the morning, and behold, they are all dead carcases. 37 And Sancherib sovereign of Ashshur pulls stakes, and goes and returns and settles at Nineveh. 38 And so be it, as he prostrates in the house of Nisroch his elohim, that his sons Adram Melech and Shareser smite him with the sword; and they escape into the land of Ararat: and Esar Chaddon his son reigns in his stead.

Isaiah 38:1-8

1
THE HEALING OF YECHIZQI YAH
In those days Yechizqi Yah is sick unto death: and Yesha Yah the prophet the son of Amos comes to him and says to him, Thus says Yah Veh, You, misvah concerning your house: for you die and live not. 2 And Yechizqi Yah turns his face toward the wall, and prays to Yah Veh, 3 and says, Remember, I beseech; O Yah Veh, I beseech you, how I walked at your face in truth and with a heart of shalom, and worked what is good in your eyes. - and Yechizqi Yah weeps with great weeping. 4 And the word of Yah Veh comes to Yesha Yah, saying, 5 Go, and say to Yechizqi Yah, Thus says Yah Veh, Elohim of David your father, I hear your prayer; I see your tears: behold, I add to your days fifteen years: 6 and I rescue you and this city from the palm of the sovereign of Ashshur; and I garrison this city: 7 and this is a sign to you from Yah Veh, that Yah Veh works this word he worded: 8 Behold, I turn back the shadow of the degrees which descends in the sun dial of Ach Az ten degrees backward. - thus the sun turns back ten degrees, by which degrees it had descended.

Isaiah 38:21-22

21 For Yesha Yah says, Let them bear a lump of figs and massage it on the ulcer, and live. 22 And Yechizqi Yah says, What is the sign that I ascend to the house of Yah Veh?

Isaiah 39:1-8

1
THE VISITORS FROM BABEL
At that time Merodach Bel Adoni the son of Bel Adoni sovereign of Babel, sends scrolls and an offering to Yechizqi Yah: for he hears he is sick - and strengthens. 2 And Yechizqi Yah cheers over them, and they see the house of his spicery - the silver and the gold and the spices and the good ointment and all the house of his instruments and all they find in his treasures: there is no word in his house and in all his reign that Yechizqi Yah has them not see. 3 Then Yesha Yah the prophet comes to sovereign Yechizqi Yah, and says to him, What say these men? and, Whence come they to you? And Yechizqi Yah says, They come to me from a land afar - from Babel. 4 And he says, What saw they in your house? And Yechizqi Yah says, All that is in my house they saw: there is no word among my treasures that I had them not see. 5 And Yesha Yah says to Yechizqi Yah, Hear the word of Yah Veh Sabaoth: 6 Behold, days come, that all that is in your house, and what your fathers treasured until this day, is lifted to Babel: no word remains, says Yah Veh. 7 And of your sons who issue from you, whom you birthed, they take away to become eunuchs in the manse of the sovereign of Babel. 8 And Yechizqi Yah says to Yesha Yah, Good is the word of Yah Veh which you speak. and he says, For shalom and truth become in my days.

Isaiah 40:2

2 Word to the heart of Yeru Shalem and call out to her that her hostility is fulfilled - that her perversity is satisfied: for she takes double of the hand of Yah Veh for all her sins.

Isaiah 40:13

13 Who gauges the Spirit of Yah Veh? Or as his councilman makes known to him?

Isaiah 41:10

10 awe not; for I am with you: look not around; for I am your Elohim: I strengthen you; yes, I help you; yes, I uphold you with the right of my justness.

Isaiah 42:8

8 I - Yah Veh: that is my name: and I neither give my honor to another, nor my halal to sculptiles.

Isaiah 44:8-10

8 Neither fear, nor frighten: Heard you not ever since, what I told you? You are my witnesses. Is there an Elohah except me? Yes, there is no rock; I know none. 9 They who form a sculptile all of them are a waste; and their desires benefit not: and they are their own witnesses; they neither see, nor know to shame. 10 Who ever formed an el or poured a sculptile that is not beneficial?

Isaiah 44:16-20

16 he burns half in the fire; with half he eats flesh; he roasts a roast, and satiates: yes, he heats, and says, Aha, I heat up; I see the flame: 17 and of what survives, he works an el - his sculptile: he prostrates thereto - prostrates and prays thereto, and says, Rescue me; for you are my el. 18 They neither know nor discern: for he daubs their eyes from seeing, and their hearts from comprehending: 19 and no one turns to his heart; there is neither knowledge nor discernment to say, I burn half in the fire; yes, also I bake bread on the coals; I roast flesh and eat: and I work the remnant an abhorrence: I prostrate to the product of a tree. 20 He grazes on ashes: a mocked heart perverts him that he neither rescues his soul, nor says, Is there not a falsehood in my right?

Isaiah 58:11

11 and Yah Veh guides you continually and satisfies your soul in parch and fattens your bones: and you become as a saturated garden and as a spring of water whose waters fail not.

Isaiah 60:7-9

7 all the flocks of Qedar gather to you; the rams of Nebayoth minister to you: they ascend with pleasure on my sacrifice altar and I adorn the house of my adornment. 8 Who are these, flying as a cloud and as the doves to their windows? 9 Surely the islands await me; and the ships of Tarshish first to bring your sons from afar - their silver and their gold with them to the name of Yah Veh your Elohim, and to the Holy One of Yisra El, because he adorns you.

Jeremiah 1:16

16 and I word my judgments against them touching all their evil - in that they forsake me and incense to other elohim, and prostrate to the works of their own hands.

Jeremiah 10:3

3 for the statutes of the people are vain: for one cuts a tree from the forest - the work of the hands of the engraver with the ax:

Jeremiah 10:9

9 They bring expanded silver from Tarshish and gold from Uphaz - the work of the engraver and of the hands of the refiner: blue and purple is their robe: they are all the work of wise.

Jeremiah 10:11-12
