³⁵ Who are they among all the elohim of the lands who rescued their land from my hand, that Yah Veh rescue Yeru Shalem from my hand?

² And Paroh says, Who is Yah Veh, that I hear his voice to send Yisra El away? I neither know Yah Veh nor send I Yisra El away.

¹⁷ Truly, Yah Veh, the sovereigns of Ashshur desolated the goyim and their lands,

¹⁵ And now neither may Yechizqi Yah deceive you, nor goad you thus, nor yet trust him: for no elohah of any goyim or sovereigndom is able to rescue his people from my hand and from the hand of my fathers: neither your Elohim rescues you from my hand.

²⁵ he spreads his hand against El and prevails mightily against Shadday. ²⁶ He runs on him - on his neck - on the thick bosses of his shields;

¹ Why do the goyim conspire and the nations meditate vanity? ² The sovereigns of the earth station themselves and the potentates set counsel together against Yah Veh and against his anointed.

¹⁵ Boasts the ax over him who hews therewith? Or greatens the rasp over him who shakes it? - as a scion shakes them who lift it? Or as a rod lifts itself with no timber?

²³ Whom reproach you? And blaspheme? And against whom exalt you your voice? And lift your eyes on high? Against the Holy One of Yisra El! ²⁴ By the hand of your servants you reproach Adonay, and say, By the abundance of my chariots I ascend to the height of the mountains - to the flanks of Lebanon; and I cut down the height of the cedars and the choice fir trees: and I enter the height of his edge and the forest of his Karmel/orchard: ²⁵ I dig and drink water; and with the sole of my steps I parch all the rivers of the rampart. ²⁶ Heard you not in the distant past, that I worked it? Of ancient days, that I formed it? now I bring it to become, for you to waste fortified cities into desolate heaps. ²⁷ And their settlers are short handed - dismayed and shamed - as the herbage of the field and as the green sprouts; as the grass on the roofs and as the field at the face of the stalks. ²⁸ And I know your sitting and your coming and your going; and your quaking against me: ²⁹ because of your quaking against me your uproar ascends into my ears: I set my hook in your nostrils and my bit in your lips; and I turn you back by the way you came.

¹⁵ Now behold, if you are prepared, at the time you hear the sound of the horn, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery and symphonia and all species of psalming, you fall down and prostrate to the image I made - and behold, if you prostrate not, at that same blink you are hurled midst a burning fiery furnace! Who is that Elah who liberates you from my hands?
