Menash Sheh is a son of twelve years when he begins to reign; and reigns fifty-five years in Yeru Shalem: and the name of his mother, Hephsi Bah. ² And he works evil in the eyes of Yah Veh; after the abhorrences of the goyim, whom Yah Veh dispossessed at the face of the sons of Yisra El. ³ And he returns and builds the bamahs Yechizqi Yah his father destroyed; and he raises sacrifice altars for Baal and works an asherah as Ach Ab sovereign of Yisra El worked; and prostrates to all the host of the heavens and serves them. ⁴ And he builds sacrifice altars in the house of Yah Veh; of which Yah Veh said, In Yeru Shalem I set my name: ⁵ and he builds sacrifice altars for all the host of the heavens in the two courts of the house of Yah Veh: ⁶ and he passes his son through the fire and cloudgazes and prognosticates and works with necromancers and knowers: he abounds to work evil in the eyes of Yah Veh to vex him: ⁷ and he sets a sculptile of the asherah he worked in the house, of which Yah Veh said to David and to Shelomoh his son, In this house and in Yeru Shalem, which I chose from all scions of Yisra El, I set my name eternally: ⁸ and I add not to waver the feet of Yisra El from the soil I gave their fathers; only, if they guard to work according to all I misvahed them; and according to all the torah my servant Mosheh misvahed them. ⁹ And they hearken not: and Menash Sheh strays them to work more evil than the goyim whom Yah Veh desolated at the face of the sons of Yisra El. ¹⁰ And Yah Veh words by the hand of his servants the prophets, saying, ¹¹ Because Menash Sheh sovereign of Yah Hudah works these abhorrences and vilifies above all the Emoriy worked at his face and also has Yah Hudah sin with his idols: ¹² so thus says Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El: Behold, I bring evil on Yeru Shalem and Yah Hudah that whoever hears of it, both his ears tingle: ¹³ and over Yeru Shalem I spread the line of Shomeron and the plumb line of the house of Ach Ab: and I wipe Yeru Shalem - wipe as wiping a bowl, and turn it to descend on its face: ¹⁴ and I abandon the survivors of my inheritance and give them into the hand of their enemies; to become a plunder - a plunder to all their enemies ¹⁵ because they work evil in my eyes to vex me - from the day their fathers came from Misrayim even to this day. ¹⁶ And also Menash Sheh pours innocent blood mighty aboundingly, until he fills Yeru Shalem mouth to mouth; beside his sin wherewith he had Yah Hudah sin, in working evil in the eyes of Yah Veh. ¹⁷ And the rest of the words of Menash Sheh and all he worked and the sin he sinned, are they not inscribed in the scroll of the words of the days of the sovereigns of Yah Hudah? ¹⁸ And Menash Sheh lies down with his fathers entombed in the garden of his own house in the garden of Uzza: and Amon his son reigns in his stead. ¹⁹
AMON REIGNS IN YERU SHALEM
Amon is a son of twenty-two years when he begins to reign; and he reigns two years in Yeru Shalem: and the name of his mother, Meshullemeth the daughter of Harus of Yotbah. ²⁰ And he works evil in the eyes of Yah Veh, as his father Menash Sheh worked: ²¹ and he walks in all the way his father walked and serves the idols his father served and prostrates to them: ²² and he forsakes Yah Veh Elohim of his fathers and walks not in the way of Yah Veh. ²³ And the servants of Amon conspire against him and deathify the sovereign in his own house: ²⁴ and the people of the land smite all who conspire against sovereign Amon; and the people of the land have Yoshi Yah his son reign in his stead. ²⁵ And the rest of the words Amon works, are they not inscribed in the scroll of the words of the days of the sovereigns of Yah Hudah? ²⁶ And he is entombed in his tomb in the garden of Uzza: and Yoshi Yah his son reigns in his stead.

²¹ And Yechizqi Yah lies down with his fathers: and Menash Sheh his son reigns in his stead.

¹³ Achaz his son, Yechizqi Yah his son, Menash Sheh his son,

³³ And Yechizqi Yah lies down with his fathers - entombed in the ascent of the tombs of the sons of David: and all Yah Hudah and the settlers of Yeru Shalem work him honor at his death. - and Menash Sheh his son reigns in his stead.

¹⁹ she is as the hind of loves and the roe of charism: her nipples satisfy you at all times; and continually err inadvertently with her love.

⁴ Neither is it said of you, Forsaken; nor is it said of your land, Desolate: but you are called Hephsi Bah/My Delight, and your land Beulah/Married: for Yah Veh delights in you, and your land is married.

¹⁰ and Yechizq Yah births Menash Sheh, and Menash Sheh births Amon, and Amon births Yoshi Yah,

²⁵ and the land fouled: so I visit the perversity thereof thereon; and the land itself vomits them who settle her. ²⁶ Guard my statutes and my judgments and work not any of these abhorrences - native and sojourner sojourning among you: ²⁷ for the men of the land at your face worked all these abhorrences and fouled the land; ²⁸ lest the land vomits you, when you foul it, as it vomited the goyim at your face. ²⁹ For whoever works any of these abhorrences, even the souls that work them are cut off from among their people.

³¹ Work not thus to Yah Veh your Elohim: for every abhorrence Yah Veh hates, they worked to their elohim; even burning their sons and their daughters in the fire to their elohim.

² Achaz is a son of twenty years when he begins to reign; and reigns sixteen years in Yeru Shalem and works not straight in the eyes of Yah Veh his Elohim as David his father: ³ and he walks in the way of the sovereigns of Yisra El yes, and passes his son through the fire according to the abhorrences of the goyim - whom Yah Veh dispossessed from the face of the sons of Yisra El: ⁴ and he sacrifices and incenses in the bamahs and on the hills and under every green tree.

⁷ and he sets a sculptile of the asherah he worked in the house, of which Yah Veh said to David and to Shelomoh his son, In this house and in Yeru Shalem, which I chose from all scions of Yisra El, I set my name eternally:

¹⁶ And also Menash Sheh pours innocent blood mighty aboundingly, until he fills Yeru Shalem mouth to mouth; beside his sin wherewith he had Yah Hudah sin, in working evil in the eyes of Yah Veh.

¹⁷ because they forsake me and incense to other elohim - to vex me with all the works of their hands; I kindle my fury against this place and quench not.

² and works evil in the eyes of Yah Veh - like the abhorrences of the goyim whom Yah Veh dispossessed at the face of the sons of Yisra El: ³ and he returns and builds the bamahs Yechizqi Yah his father pulled down; and he raises sacrifice altars for Baalim and works asherim; and prostrates to all the host of the heavens and serves them; ⁴ and he builds sacrifice altars in the house of Yah Veh whereof Yah Veh says, In Yeru Shalem is my name eternally.

¹⁴ Also, all the governors of the priests and the people, in treasoning, abound to treason after all the abhorrences of the goyim; and foul the house of Yah Veh which he hallowed in Yeru Shalem.

⁴ and I give them for an agitation into all sovereigndoms of the earth, because of Menash Sheh the son of Yechizqi Yah sovereign of Yah Hudah, for what he worked in Yeru Shalem.

⁵¹ As for Shomeron: she sins not the half of your sins; but you abound your abhorrences more than they and justify your sisters in all the abhorrences you work.

¹⁹ and lest you lift up your eyes to the heavens and when you see the sun and the moon and the stars and all the host of the heavens and be driven to prostrate to them and serve them - which Yah Veh your Elohim allotted to all people under the whole of the heavens.

³ and goes and serves other elohim and prostrates to them - either the sun or moon or any of the host of the heavens, which I misvah not to;

³¹ And so be it, as trifling for him to walk in the sins of Yarob Am the son of Nebat, he takes to woman Iy Zebel the daughter of Eth Baal sovereign of the Sidoniy; and goes and serves Baal and prostrates to him: ³² and he raises a sacrifice altar for Baal in the house of Baal he builds in Shomeron: ³³ and Ach Ab works an asherah; and Ach Ab adds to work to vex Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El above all the sovereigns of Yisra El at their face.

²¹ And Eli Yah comes near all the people, and says, How long limp you divided in two? If Yah Veh be Elohim, go after him! And if Baal, go after him! - and the people answer him not a word.

²⁶ And they take the bullock he gives them and they work it; and call on the name of Baal from morning even until noon saying, O Baal, answer us. - and there is neither voice, nor answer: and they leap on the sacrifice altar they worked.

¹⁸ and he walks in the way of the sovereigns of Yisra El as the house of Ach Ab worked: for the daughter of Ach Ab is his woman: and he works evil in the eyes of Yah Veh:

²⁷ And he walks in the way of the house of Ach Ab and works evil in the eyes of Yah Veh as the house of Ach Ab: for he is the son in law of the house of Ach Ab.

¹⁸ And Yah Hu gathers all the people and says to them, Ach Ab served Baal a little; Yah Hu serves him aboundingly: ¹⁹ now call to me all the prophets of Baal - all his servants and all his priests - no man missing: for I have a great sacrifice to Baal; whosoever is missing, lives not. - and Yah Hu works trickery so as to destroy the servants of Baal. ²⁰ And Yah Hu says, Hallow a private assembly for Baal! - and they call it.

¹⁶ and they leave all the misvoth of Yah Veh their Elohim; and work moltens - two calves and work an asherah and prostrate to all the host of the heavens and serve Baal:

⁴ he turns aside the bamahs and breaks the monoliths and cuts down the asherim and crushes the copper serpent Mosheh worked: for in those days the sons of Yisra El incensed to it: and he called it Coppery/Nechustan.

²² And if you say to me, We confide in Yah Veh our Elohim! - Is that not he, whose bamahs and whose sacrifice altars Yechizqi Yah turned aside? - Who said to Yah Hudah and Yeru Shalem, Prostrate at the face of this sacrifice altar in Yeru Shalem?

⁵ And he ceases the ascetics whom the sovereigns of Yah Hudah gave to incense in the bamahs in the cities of Yah Hudah and in the places all around Yeru Shalem; also them who incensed to Baal to the sun and to the moon and to the constellations and to all the host of the heavens:

¹² Yechizqi Yah himself, turns he not aside his bamahs and his sacrifice altars and says to Yah Hudah and Yeru Shalem, saying, Worship at the face of one sacrifice altar and incense thereon?

³ and he returns and builds the bamahs Yechizqi Yah his father pulled down; and he raises sacrifice altars for Baalim and works asherim; and prostrates to all the host of the heavens and serves them; ⁴ and he builds sacrifice altars in the house of Yah Veh whereof Yah Veh says, In Yeru Shalem is my name eternally. ⁵ And he builds sacrifice altars for all the host of the heavens in the two courts of the house of Yah Veh:

³ And in the eighth year of his reign - he is still a lad he begins to seek after the Elohim of David his father: and in the twelfth year he begins to purify Yah Hudah and Yeru Shalem from the bamahs and the asherim and the sculptiles and the molten:

²⁶ if I see the light when it halals or the moon walking in esteem;

¹⁶ And you guard the statutes of Omri and all the works of the house of Ach Ab; and you walk in their counsels: and I give you for a desolation, and the settlers for a hissing: and you bear the reproach of my people.

²⁴ but work to me a sacrifice altar of soil and sacrifice thereon your holocausts and your shelamim - your flocks and your oxen in all places wherever I memorialize my name I come to you and I bless you:

⁵ But to the place Yah Veh your Elohim chooses of all your scions to put his name there, seek and enter his tabernacle:

¹³ he builds a house for my name and I establish the throne of his sovereigndom eternally.

²⁹ that your eyes be open toward this house night and day - toward the place of which you say, My name is there: to hearken to the prayer your servant prays toward this place:

³ And Yah Veh says to him, I heard the prayer and your supplication you besought at my face: I hallowed this house you built to set my name there eternally; my eyes and my heart being there all days.

¹⁰ And sovereign Achaz goes to Dammeseq to meet Tilgath Pileser sovereign of Ashshur and sees a sacrifice altar at Dammeseq: and sovereign Achaz sends Uri Yah the priest a likeness and a pattern of the sacrifice altar according to all the works thereof: ¹¹ and Uri Yah the priest builds a sacrifice altar according to all sovereign Achaz sends from Dammeseq: thus Uri Yah the priest works it to the coming of sovereign Achaz from Dammeseq: ¹² and the sovereign comes from Dammeseq and the sovereign sees the sacrifice altar: and the sovereign approaches the sacrifice altar and holocausts thereon: ¹³ and he incenses his holocaust and his offering and pours his libation and sprinkles the blood of his shelamim on the sacrifice altar: ¹⁴ and he approaches the copper sacrifice altar at the face of Yah Veh from the face of the house - from between the sacrifice altar and between the house of Yah Veh - and gives it on the north flank of the sacrifice altar: ¹⁵ and sovereign Achaz misvahs Uri Yah the priest, saying, On the great sacrifice altar incense the morning holocaust and the evening offering and the holocaust and offering of the sovereign, with the holocaust of all the people of the land and their offering and their libations; and sprinkle thereon all the blood of the holocaust and all the blood of the sacrifice: and the copper sacrifice altar is for me to search by. ¹⁶ And Uri Yah the priest works according to all sovereign Achaz misvahs:

⁶⁸ but chose the scion of Yah Hudah - the mount Siyon he loved: ⁶⁹ and he built his hallowed refuge lofty - eternal as the earth he founded.

¹³ For Yah Veh chose Siyon; he desires it for his settlement: ¹⁴ this is my rest eternally; here I settle; for I desire it.

³⁴ and they set their abominations in the house on which my name is called to foul it:

³⁶ And he builds the inner court with three rows of hewed stone and a row of cedar beams.

¹² and the great court all around, three rows of hewed stones and a row of cedar beams - both for the inner court of the house of Yah Veh and for the porch of the house.

⁶ and he brings the asherah from the house of Yah Veh to outside Yeru Shalem to the wadi Qidron; and burns it at the wadi Qidron and pulverized it to dust; and casts the dust thereof on the tombs of the sons of the people:

¹² And the sovereign pulls down the sacrifice altars on the roof of the upper room of Achaz which the sovereigns of Yah Hudah worked, and the sacrifice altars Menash Sheh worked in the two courts of the house of Yah Veh; and runs from there and casts their dust in the wadi Qidron.

⁵ And he builds sacrifice altars for all the host of the heavens in the two courts of the house of Yah Veh:

¹⁵ and he turns aside the strange elohim and the figurine from the house of Yah Veh and all the sacrifice altars he built in the mount of the house of Yah Veh and in Yeru Shalem; and casts them outside the city:

THE INNER COURT
And he brings me to the inner court by the southward portal; and he measures the southward portal according to these measures:

³² And he brings me into the inner court the way of the east: and he measures the portal according to these measures:

³⁷ with the pilasters toward the utter court; and palm trees on the pilasters from here, and from there: and the ascent eight steps.

⁴⁷ and he measures the court, a hundred cubits long, and a hundred cubits broad, square; and the sacrifice altar at the face of the house.

³ Over against the twenty for the inner court, and over against the pavement for the outer court, the gallery at the face of gallery, in tiers.

⁵ and the spirit bears me and brings me into the inner court; and behold, the honor of Yah Veh fills the house.

¹⁹ And when they go forth into the outer court into the outer court to the people, they strip the clothes wherein they minister and leave them in the holy chambers; and they put on other clothes; they neither hallow the people with their clothes.

¹³ And the men of Sedom are evil and sin mightily at the face of Yah Veh.

²¹ And give not any of your seed to pass through to Molech: profane not the name of your Elohim: I - Yah Veh.

²⁶ Eat naught with the blood. Neither prognosticate nor observe times.

³¹ Neither face necromancers, nor seek after knowers to become foul by them: I - Yah Veh your Elohim.

² And to the sons of Yisra El, say, Any man of the sons of Yisra El or of the sojourners sojourning in Yisra El, who gives any of his seed to Molech; in deathifying, deathify him: the people of the land stone him with stones. ³ And I give my face against that man and cut him off from among his people; because he gives of his seed to Molech to foul my holies and to profane my holy name.

¹⁰ lest you find any among you who passes his son or his daughter through the fire or a diviner or a cloudgazer or a prognosticater or a sorcerer ¹¹ or a charmer who charms or an inquirer of a necromancer or a knower or an inquirer of the deathified: ¹² for all who work these are an abhorrence to Yah Veh: and because of these abhorrences Yah Veh your Elohim dispossesses them from your face. ¹³ Be integrious with Yah Veh your Elohim: ¹⁴ for these goyim, whom you possess, hearken to cloudgazers and to diviners: but as for you, Yah Veh your Elohim gives you not thus.

³ and he walks in the way of the sovereigns of Yisra El yes, and passes his son through the fire according to the abhorrences of the goyim - whom Yah Veh dispossessed from the face of the sons of Yisra El:

¹⁷ and they pass their sons and their daughters through the fire; and divine divination and prognostications and sell themselves to work evil in the eyes of Yah Veh - to vex him.

³ only, this became against Yah Hudah by the mouth of Yah Veh - to turn them from his face for the sins of Menash Sheh according to all he worked; ⁴ and also for the innocent blood he poured: for he filled Yeru Shalem with innocent blood; which Yah Veh willed to not forgive.

¹³ And Shaul dies for the treason he treasoned against Yah Veh - against the word of Yah Veh which he guarded not and also for asking of a necromancer, - to enquire

³ and he incenses in the valley of the son of burning and burns his sons in the fire - as the abhorrences of the goyim whom Yah Veh dispossessed at the face of the sons of Yisra El:

⁶ and he passes his sons through the fire in the valley of the son of burning: and he cloudglazes and prognosticates and sorcers: and works with a necromancer and with knowers: he abounds to work evil in the eyes of Yah Veh to vex him.

¹⁹ And when they say to you, Seek to spiritists and to knowers who chirp and mutter: Seek a people not to their Elohim? - for the living to the dead?

³ and evacuate the spirit of Misrayim in its midst; and I swallow up the counsel: and they seek to the idols and to the spiritists and to necromancers and to the knowers:

⁷ Please Yah Veh with thousands of rams? With myriads of wadies of oil? Give I my firstbirthed for my rebellion - the fruit of my belly for the sin of my soul?

PAULOS EVANGELIZES OUT A SPIRIT OF PYTHON
And so be it, as we go to prayer, a lass having a spirit of Python meets us, who presents her adonim much work by soothsaying:

²¹ Neither plant an asherah of any trees beside the sacrifice altar of Yah Veh your Elohim which you work,

⁴⁴ When your people go out to war against their enemy in the way you send them, and pray to Yah Veh toward the city you chose and toward the house I built for your name,

⁷ then I cut Yisra El from the face of the soil I gave them; and this house I hallowed for my name, I send from my face; and Yisra El becomes a proverb and gibe among all people:

⁴ And he builds sacrifice altars in the house of Yah Veh; of which Yah Veh said, In Yeru Shalem I set my name:

²⁷ And Yah Veh says, I also turn aside Yah Hudah from my face, as I turned aside Yisra El, and spurn this city Yeru Shalem which I chose, and the house of which I said, My name is there.

YAH VEH IS SEEN BY SHELOMOH
And Yah Veh is seen by Shelomoh by night and says to him, I hear your prayer and choose this place for myself for a house of sacrifice.

¹⁶ and now I choose and hallow this house, for my name being there eternally: and my eyes and my heart being there all days.

²⁰ then I uproot them from my soil which I gave them; and this house I hallowed for my name, I cast from my face and give it to be a proverb and a gibe among all the peoples.

⁷ And he sets a sculptile - a figurine he worked in the house of Elohim, of which Elohim said to David and to Shelomoh his son, In this house and in Yeru Shalem which I chose from all the scions of Yisra El I set my name eternally:

⁹ but if you turn to me and guard my misvoth and work them - though some of you were expelled to the extremity of the heavens yet I gather them from there and bring them to the place I chose to tabernacle my name:

² Remember the witness you chattelized of antiquity - the scion of your inheritance you redeemed - this mount Siyon wherein you tabernacle.

³ If you walk in my statutes and guard and work my misvoth, ⁴ then I give you downpour in time and the land gives her produce and the trees of the field give their fruit: ⁵ and your threshing reaches to the crop and the crop reaches to the seeding: and you eat your bread to satiety and settle in your land confidently: ⁶ and I give shalom in the land; and you lie down and no one trembles you: and I cause the evil live being to shabbathize from the land: that the sword not pass through your land. ⁷ And you pursue your enemies and they fall by the sword at your face: ⁸ and five of you pursue a hundred and a hundred of you pursue a myriad; and your enemies fall by the sword at your face. ⁹ And I turn my face toward you that you bear fruit and abound; and raise my covenant with you: ¹⁰ and you eat old store and bring forth the old at the face of the new. ¹¹ And I give my tabernacle among you: and my soul loathes you not: ¹² and I walk among you and become to you, Elohim and you become to me, people: ¹³ I - Yah Veh your Elohim who brought you from the land of Misrayim that you not be their servants; and I break the yoke poles of your yoke and carry you erect.

²⁸ And Yah Veh heard the voice of your words you worded to me; and Yah Veh said to me, I hear the voice of the words of this people, which they word to you: they well-pleasingly say all they word. ²⁹ O give that there were such a heart in them, that they awe me and guard all my misvoth all days, that it well-please them and their sons eternally!

THE BLESSINGS OF OBEDIENCE And so be it, if in hearkening, you hearken to the voice of Yah Veh your Elohim, to guard and to work all his misvoth which I misvah you this day, Yah Veh your Elohim gives you - most high above all goyim of the earth: ² and all these blessings come on you and overtake you; because you hearken to the voice of Yah Veh your Elohim. ³ Blessed, you in the city and blessed, you in the field; ⁴ blessed, the fruit of your belly and the fruit of your soil; and the fruit of your animals - the fetus of your yoke and the riches of your flocks; ⁵ blessed, your basket and your doughboard: ⁶ blessed in your coming and blessed in your going. ⁷ Yah Veh gives your enemies who rise against you - smitten at your face: they come against you one way and flee your face seven ways. ⁸ Yah Veh misvahs blessing on you in your ingatherings and in all you spread your hand to; and blesses you in the land Yah Veh your Elohim gives you. ⁹ Yah Veh raises you - a holy people to himself, as he oathed to you, when you guard the misvoth of Yah Veh your Elohim and walk in his ways: ¹⁰ and all people of the earth see the name of Yah Veh called upon you; and they awe you: ¹¹ and Yah Veh overflows you in goods - in the fruit of your belly and in the fruit of your animals and in the fruit of your soil - the soil Yah Veh oathed to your fathers to give you. ¹² Yah Veh opens his good treasure to you - the heavens to give the rain to your land in its time and to bless all the work of your hand: and you lend to many goyim and you borrow not. ¹³ And Yah Veh gives you the head and not the tail; and you become only upward and you never become downward; when you hearken to the misvoth of Yah Veh your Elohim, which I misvah you this day to guard and to work: ¹⁴ and turn not aside from any of the words I misvah you this day - right or left, to go after other elohim to serve them.

¹¹ Guard your souls mightily to love Yah Veh your Elohim. ¹² Else, if in turning back, you turn back, and adhere to the remnant of these goyim who survive among you - and intermarry with them and go in to them and they to you. ¹³ In knowing, know this: Yah Veh your Elohim adds not to dispossess these goyim from your face; and they become snares - snares to you and scourges in your sides and thorns in your eyes* until you destruct from off this good soil which Yah Veh your Elohim has given you.

¹⁰ and I set a place for my people Yisra El and plant them to tabernacle in their own place that they neither quiver any more nor that the sons of wickedness add to abase them - as formerly

¹¹ and the sovereign of Ashshur exiles Yisra El to Ashshur; and guides them in Halach and in Habor by the river Gozan; and in the cities of the Madaim: ¹² because they hearken not to the voice of Yah Veh their Elohim; but trespass his covenant; and all that Mosheh the servant of Yah Veh misvahed they neither hearken nor work them.

⁹ and I set a place for my people Yisra El and plant them; and they tabernacle in their place and quiver no more; and the sons of wickedness add not to wear them out as at the beginning;

⁸ I neither turn aside the foot of Yisra El from the soil which I stood for your fathers; so that they guard to work all I misvahed them, according to the whole torah and the statutes and the judgments by the hand of Mosheh.

³ Confide in Yah Veh and work good; thus you tabernacle in the land and tend to trustworthiness.

¹¹ But my people will to not hearken to my voice; and Yisra El has none of me: ¹² and I send them in the warp of their own heart; and they walk in their own counsels. ¹³ Oh that my people hearken to me and Yisra El walk in my ways: ¹⁴ then had I shortly subdued their enemies and turned my hand against their tribulators. ¹⁵ The haters of Yah Veh emaciate in front of him; but their time is eternal: ¹⁶ he feeds them with the fat of the wheat; and satisfies you with honey from the rock.

¹⁵ And you confide in your own beauty and whore because of your name; and pour your whoredoms on every one who passes by - to him. ¹⁶ And from your clothes, you take of the patches, and work your bamahs and whore thereon: such as neither has come, nor becomes. ¹⁷ And you take your instruments of adornment of my gold and of my silver, which I give you, and work images of males to yourself and whore with them; ¹⁸ and take your clothes of embroidery and cover them: and you give my oil and my incense at their face: ¹⁹ and the meat I give you - flour and oil and honey to eat, you even give at their face for a scent of rest: and so be it, - an oracle of Adonay Yah Veh. ²⁰ And you take your sons and your daughters, whom you birthed to me, and you sacrifice them to be eaten. Are these trifling - your whoredoms, ²¹ to slaughter my sons, and give them to pass through? ²² And in all your abhorrences and your whoredoms you remember not the days of your youth, when you were naked and nude, and were trampled in your blood.

⁴ Judge you them, son of humanity? Judge you them? Have them know the abhorrences of their fathers:

¹³ And the house of Yisra El rebels against me in the wilderness: they walk not in my statutes and they spurn my judgments - which, if a human works, he lives in them; and they mightily profane my shabbaths: and I say, I pour my fury on them in the wilderness to consume them.

THE IDOLATRY OF THE HOUSE OF YISRA EL
So say to the house of Yisra El, Thus says Adonay Yah Veh: Why foul you after the way of your fathers? And whore after their abominations?

³ and they whore in Misrayim; they whore in their youth: there they pierce their breasts and there they work the nipples of their virginity:

⁸ she forsakes not her whoredoms from Misrayim: for in her youth they lie with her and work the nipples of her virginity and pour their whoredom on her. ⁹ So I give her into the hand of her lovers - into the hand of the sons of Ashshur whom she pants after. ¹⁰ They expose her nakedness: they take her sons and her daughters and slaughter her with the sword: and she becomes a name among women; and they work judgments on her. ¹¹ And her sister Oholi Bah sees this, and in her panting, she ruins more than her, and in her whoredoms more than her sister in her whoredoms. ¹² She pants after the neighboring sons of Ashshur - governors and prefects enrobed most splendidly, - cavalry riding on horses - all youths of desire. ¹³ Then I see her foul - one way to both; ¹⁴ and she increases her whoredoms: for when she sees men engraved on the wall - images of the Kesediym engraved with vermilion ¹⁵ girdled with girdles on their loins exceeding in dyed attire on their heads - all of them tertiaries in visage after the likeness of the sons of Babel of Kesediym, the land of their kindred. ¹⁶ And at the sight of her eyes, she pants after them, and sends angels to them to Kesediym: ¹⁷ and the sons of Babel come to her into the bed of love, and they foul her with their whoredom and she is fouled by them; and her soul alienates from them: ¹⁸ and she exposes her whoredoms and exposes her nakedness: and I alienate my soul from her as I alienated my soul from her sister: ¹⁹ and she abounds her whoredoms in remembering the days of her youth wherein she whored in the land of Misrayim: ²⁰ and she pants after their concubines - whose flesh is as the flesh of burros and whose flux is as the flux of horses. ²¹ You visit the intrigue of your youth, in working your nipples by the Misrayim for the breasts of your youth.

⁵ we sinned and perverted and did wickedly and rebelled - by turning aside from your misvoth and from your judgments: ⁶ we hearkened not to your servants the prophets, who worded in your name to our sovereigns, our governors and our fathers and to all the people of the land. ⁷ O Adonay, justness to you; and shame of faces to us, as this day; to the men of Yah Hudah and to the settlers of Yeru Shalem and to all Yisra El, near and far, through all the lands you drove them, because of the treason they treasoned against you. ⁸ Adonay, shame of face to us - to our sovereigns, to our governors and to our fathers, because we sinned against you. ⁹ To Adonay our Elohim, mercies and forgivenesses though we rebelled against him;

²¹ And Mosheh says to Aharon, What work this people to you, that you bring so great a sin on them?

³³ And profane not the land wherein you are; for blood profanes the land: and you cannot kapar/atone the land for the blood poured therein, except by the blood of him who poured it.

⁸ Kapar/Atone, O Yah Veh, to your people Yisra El whom you redeemed; and give not innocent blood midst your people Yisra El. - and the blood kapars/atones. ⁹ Thus you burn the innocent blood from among you, when you work straight in the eyes of Yah Veh.

¹⁵ For Yah Veh smites Yisra El as a stalk wags in the water; and uproots Yisra El from this good soil he gave to their fathers; and scatters them beyond the river because they work their asherim - vexing Yah Veh: ¹⁶ and he gives up Yisra El because of the sins Yarob Am sins - who had Yisra El sin.

¹¹ Because Menash Sheh sovereign of Yah Hudah works these abhorrences and vilifies above all the Emoriy worked at his face and also has Yah Hudah sin with his idols:

³⁴ Also found in your wings is the blood of the souls of the needy innocents: I found it not by digging, but on all these.

⁶ if you oppress not the sojourner, the orphan, and the widow, and pour not innocent blood in this place, and walk not after other elohim to your evil:

²⁶ And he is entombed in his tomb in the garden of Uzza: and Yoshi Yah his son reigns in his stead.

²⁰ a son of thirty-two - and he begins to reign; and he reigns in Yeru Shalem eight years and goes without desire; - entombed in the city of David but not in the tombs of the sovereigns.

¹⁶ and they entomb him among the sovereigns in the city of David because he worked good in Yisra El - both toward Elohim and toward his house.

And they go from him - for they leave him in great diseases and his own servants conspire against him for the blood of the sons of Yah Yada the priest; and slaughter him on his bed and he dies: and they entomb him in the city of David; and entomb him not in the tombs of the sovereigns.

²⁷ And Achaz lies down with his fathers - entombed in the city in Yeru Shalem: but they bring him not into the tombs of the sovereigns of Yisra El. - and Yechizqi Yah his son reigns in his stead.

³³ And Yechizqi Yah lies down with his fathers - entombed in the ascent of the tombs of the sons of David: and all Yah Hudah and the settlers of Yeru Shalem work him honor at his death. - and Menash Sheh his son reigns in his stead.

AMON REIGNS IN YERU SHALEM
Amon is a son of twenty-two years when he begins to reign; and reigns two years in Yeru Shalem: ²² and he works evil in the eyes of Yah Veh, as Menash Sheh his father worked: for Amon sacrifices to all the sculptiles Menash Sheh his father worked and serves them: ²³ and humbles not himself at the face of Yah Veh as Menash Sheh his father humbled himself: for Amon abounds his guilt.

¹⁴ And behold, you rise in the stead of your fathers - an abundance of sinful men, to scrape together yet the fuming wrath of Yah Veh toward Yisra El.

²⁷ And Basha the son of Achiy Yah of the house of Yissachar conspires against him; and Basha smites him at Gibbethon which is to the Peleshethiy; and Nadab and all Yisra El besiege Gibbethon.

⁹ and his servant Zimri governor of half his chariots conspires against him as he is in Tirsah - drinking himself intoxicated in the house of Arsa the steward of the house in Tirsah:

²⁰ And his servants rise and conspire a conspiracy and smite Yah Ash in the house of Millo, which descends to Silla.

¹⁹ And they conspire a conspiracy against him in Yeru Shalem: and he flees to Lachish; and they send after him to Lachish and deathify him there:

²⁵ And Peqach the son of Remal Yah, his tertiary, conspires against him and smites him in Shomeron, in the citadel of the house of the sovereign; with Argob and Aryah and with fifty men of the sons of the Giladiy: and he deathifies him and reigns in his stead.

³⁰ And Hoshea the son of Elah conspires a conspiracy against Peqach the son of Remal Yah; and smites him and deathifies him and reigns in his stead in the twentieth year of Yah Tham the son of Uzzi Yah.

²⁴ And his servants conspire against him and deathify him in his own house: ²⁵ and the people of the land smite all who conspire against sovereign Amon; and the people of the land have Yoshi Yah his son reign in his stead.

¹⁵ And all the people go to Gilgal; and have Shaul reign in Gilgal at the face of Yah Veh; and sacrifice sacrifices of shelamim at the face of Yah Veh; and Shaul and all the men of Yisra El cheer mightily.

³ So all the elders of Yisra El come to the sovereign to Hebron; and sovereign David cuts a covenant with them in Hebron at the face of Yah Veh: and they anoint David sovereign over Yisra El.

YISRA EL REBELS AGAINST RECHAB AM
And Rechab Am goes to Shechem: for all Yisra El comes to Shechem to have him reign.

²⁰ And so be it, all Yisra El hears that Yarob Am returns, and they send and call him to the witness and have him reign over all Yisra El: there is no one after the house of David, except only, the scion of Yah Hudah.

¹⁷ And Yah Yada cuts a covenant between Yah Veh and between the sovereign and between the people to be a people to Yah Veh; and between the sovereign and between the people.

⁵ And so be it, when the sovereigndom is strong in his hand he smites his servants who smote the sovereign his father:

And all the people of Yah Hudah take Azar Yah - a son of sixteen years to reign in the stead of his father Amaz Yah.

¹⁸ And Menash Sheh lies down with his fathers entombed in the garden of his own house in the garden of Uzza: and Amon his son reigns in his stead.
