²⁴ Possess you not what Kemosh your elohim gave you to possess? So whomever Yah Veh our Elohim dispossesses from our face, them we possess.

⁴ Then the sons of Yisra El turn aside Baalim and Ashtaroth and serve Yah Veh only.

¹⁰ and they cried to Yah Veh and said, We sinned, because we forsook Yah Veh and served Baalim and Ashtaroth: and now, rescue us from the hand of our enemies and we serve you.

⁷ Then Shelomoh builds a bamah for Kemosh the abomination of Moab in the mountain at the face of Yeru Shalem; and for Molech the abomination of the sons of Ammon:

³³ because they forsake me and prostrate to Ashtoreth elohim of the Sidoniy, Kemosh elohim of the Moabiy, and Milchom elohim of the sons of Ammon; and walk not in my ways to work straight in my eyes and in my statutes and in my judgments as David his father:

²⁶ Shelomoh sovereign of Yisra El - sinned he not by these? Yet among many goyim there is no sovereign like him - beloved of his Elohim; and Elohim gave him sovereign over all Yisra El: and strange women caused even him to sin.

⁷ For, because you confide in your works and in your treasures, you also are captured: and Kemosh goes into exile together with his priests and his governors.

¹³ And Moab shames because of Kemosh, as the house of Yisra El shamed of Beth El their confidence.

¹⁶ The calamity of Moab is near to come and his evil hastens mightily.
