And the men of the city say to Eli Shua, Behold, I beseech you, the site of this city is good, as my adoni sees: but the water is evil and the earth aborts.

¹⁹ And Yah Veh says to Mosheh, Say to Aharon, Take your rod and spread your hand on the waters of Misrayim - on their streams, on their rivers and on their marshes and on all their congregations of water - and they become blood; and blood becomes in all the land of Misrayim - both in timber and in stone.

²³ and they come to Marah and cannot drink of the waters of Marah for they are bitter: so they call the name Marah.

²⁶ There is neither the aborted nor the sterile, in your land: the number of your days I fulfil.

¹¹ And Aharon says to Mosheh, Alas, my adoni, I beseech you, set not the sin on us, wherein we folly and wherein we sin:

² and all these blessings come on you and overtake you; because you hearken to the voice of Yah Veh your Elohim. ³ Blessed, you in the city and blessed, you in the field; ⁴ blessed, the fruit of your belly and the fruit of your soil; and the fruit of your animals - the fetus of your yoke and the riches of your flocks;

¹¹ and Yah Veh overflows you in goods - in the fruit of your belly and in the fruit of your animals and in the fruit of your soil - the soil Yah Veh oathed to your fathers to give you.

THE CURSINGS OF DISOBEDIENCE And so be it, if you hearken not to the voice of Yah Veh your Elohim - to guard to work all his misvoth and his statutes which I misvah you this day, that all these abasements come on you and overtake you: ¹⁶ you, cursed in the city and you, cursed in the field: ¹⁷ cursed, your basket and your doughboard. ¹⁸ cursed, the fruit of your belly and the fruit of your soil; the fetus of your yoke and the riches of your flocks:

²⁶ And Yah Shua oathed them at that time, saying, Cursed from the face of Yah Veh be the man who rises and builds this city Yericho: he lays his firstbirthed in the foundation thereof, and in his lesser, he stations the doors.

³⁴ In his days Hi El the Beth Eliy builds Yericho: he lays the foundation in Abi Ram his firstbirthed and stations the doors in his lesser Segub; according to the word Yah Veh words by the hand of Yah Shua the son of Nun.

⁷ and Obad Yah is in the way, and behold, Eli Yah meets him and he recognizes him and falls on his face and says, Are you he - my adoni Eli Yah?

¹³ Has not my adoni been told what I worked; when Iy Zebel slaughtered the prophets of Yah Veh; how I hid a hundred men of the prophets of Yah Veh - by fifty men in a cave and sustained them with bread and water?

¹⁴ Give them, O Yah Veh! What give you? Give them an aborting womb and dry breasts.

¹⁷ Deem the elders who preside well worthy of double honor, especially who labor in the word and doctrine.
