And so be the word of Yah Veh to Yirme Yah concerning the dearth: ² Yah Hudah mourns and the portals languish - darkened to the earth; and the outcry of Yeru Shalem ascends: ³ and the mighty send their little ones to the waters: they come to the dugouts and find no water; they return with their instruments empty: they shame and are ashamed and cover their heads: ⁴ because the soil is broken for there is no downpour in the earth: the cultivators shame; they cover their heads. ⁵ And even the hind births in the field, and forsakes; because there is no sprout: ⁶ and the wild runners stand in the barrens; they gulp the wind as monsters; their eyes finish off because there is no herbage. ⁷ O Yah Veh, though our perversities answer against us, work this for sake of your name: for our apostasies abound by the myriads; we sin against you. ⁸ O the expectation of Yisra El, the saviour in time of tribulation! Why are you as a sojourner in the land? And as a caravan that spreads to stay overnight? ⁹ Why are you as a man dumbfounded - as a mighty who cannot save? Yet you, O Yah Veh, are among us; and we are called by your name; leave us not. ¹⁰ Thus says Yah Veh to this people, Thus they love to wander; they spare not their feet: so Yah Veh is not pleased in them; now he remembers their perversity and visits their sins. ¹¹ And Yah Veh says to me, Pray not for this people for their good. ¹² When they fast, I hear not their shout; and when they holocaust a holocaust and an offering, they please me not: and I finish them off by the sword and by the famine and by the pestilence. ¹³ And I say, Aha! Adonay Yah Veh! And if I enter the city, then behold, the sickness of famine! Yes, both the prophet and the priest merchandise into a land they know not.

THE STRATEGY OF THE SETTLERS OF GIBON And the settlers of Gibon hear what Yah Shua worked to Yericho and to Ay, ⁴ and they work strategy, and come, and make out to be ambassadors; and take worn out saqs on their he burros, and worn out and split and bandaged wine skins, ⁵ and worn out and patched shoes on their feet, and worn out clothes on themselves; and all the bread of their hunt is withered and crumbly. ⁶ And they go to Yah Shua to the camp at Gilgal, and say to him, and to the men of Yisra El, We come from a far land: and now cut a covenant with us. ⁷ And the men of Yisra El say to the Hivviy, Perhaps you settle among us; and how cut we a covenant with you? ⁸ And they say to Yah Shua, We, your servants. SONS OF YISRA EL HONOR THEIR OATH And so be it, at the end of three days, after they cut a covenant with them, they hear they are neighbours settling among them. ¹⁷ And the sons of Yisra El pull stakes and come to their cities on the third day: and their cities are Gibon and Kephirah and Beeroth and Kirjath Arim: ¹⁸ and the sons of Yisra El smite them not because the hierarchs of the witness oathed to them by Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El. And all the witness murmurs against the hierarchs. ¹⁹ And all the hierarchs say to all the witness, We oathed to them by Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El: and now we are not able to touch them. ²⁰ This we work to them - that they live lest rage be on us, because of the oath we oathed to them. ²¹ And the hierarchs say to them, They live; and become choppers of timber and bailers of water to all the witness; as the hierarchs had worded them.

⁴⁴ And Shaul says, Elohim works thus and adds also: for in dying, you die, Yah Nathan.

⁸ and he apprehends alive Agag the sovereign of the Amaleq and devotes all the people with the mouth of the sword. ⁹ And Shaul and the people spare Agag and the best of the flock and of the oxen and of the second sort and the rams and all the good; and wills to not devote them: but they devote all the vile and molten.

²² And according to the torah, nearly all are purified in blood; and apart from pouring of blood no forgiveness becomes.

THE TORAH ON EXECUTION And if there is a sin in a man - a judgment of death and you deathify him and you hang him on a tree;

THE ANOINTING OF SHAUL
And Shemu El takes a flask of oil and pours it on his head and kisses him and says, Is it not because Yah Veh anoints you eminent over his inheritance?

²⁴ And Shemu El says to all the people, See him whom Yah Veh chooses - there is no one like him among all the people? And all the people shout and say, The sovereign lives!

²⁶ and Shaul also goes to his house to Gibah; and with him, go valiant men whose hearts Elohim touches.

⁴ And the angels come to Gibah of Shaul and word the words in the ears of the people: and all the people lift their voices and weep.

⁴ And Yah Nathan, the son of Shaul, has a son with smitten feet - a son of five years; as the reports of Shaul and Yah Nathan come from Yizre El; and his foster lifts him, and flees: and so be it, as she hastens to flee, he falls, and limps: and his name is Mephi Bosheth.

⁷ And David says to him, Awe not: for in working, I work you mercy for sake of Yah Nathan your father; and restore all the field of Shaul your father to you - that you eat bread at my table continually.

THE TORAH ON UNKNOWN ASSASSINS When you find someone pierced on the soil Yah Veh your Elohim gives you to possess - fallen in the field and know not who pierced him: ² then your elders and your judges come and measure to the cities all around the pierced: ³ and so be it, the city nearest to the pierced, even the elders of that city take a heifer of the oxen which neither served nor drawn in the yoke; ⁴ and the elders of that city descend the heifer to a perennial wadi, - neither served nor seeded and break the neck of the heifer there in the wadi: ⁵ and the priests the sons of Levi come near; for Yah Veh your Elohim chooses them to minister to him and to bless in the name of Yah Veh; and by their mouth is every dispute and every plague: ⁶ and all the elders of the city near the pierced, baptize their hands over the heifer whose neck they broke in the wadi: ⁷ and they answer and say, Neither our hands poured this blood, nor our eyes seen. ⁸ Kapar/Atone, O Yah Veh, to your people Yisra El whom you redeemed; and give not innocent blood midst your people Yisra El. - and the blood kapars/atones. ⁹ Thus you burn the innocent blood from among you, when you work straight in the eyes of Yah Veh.

³³ And Shemu El says, As the sword bereaves women, thus be your mother bereft among women. - and Shemu El cleaves Agag in pieces at the face of Yah Veh in Gilgal.

¹⁷ And they bring the ark of Yah Veh and set it in place midst the tent David spread for it: and David holocausts holocausts and shelamim at the face of Yah Veh:

²¹ And David says to Michal, It is at the face of Yah Veh who chose me at the face of your father and at the face of all his house, to misvah me eminent over the people of Yah Veh - over Yisra El: therefore I entertain at the face of Yah Veh:

⁶ give us seven men of his sons and we impale them to Yah Veh in Gibah of Shaul, whomever Yah Veh chooses. And the sovereign says, I give them.

³ only, this became against Yah Hudah by the mouth of Yah Veh - to turn them from his face for the sins of Menash Sheh according to all he worked; ⁴ and also for the innocent blood he poured: for he filled Yeru Shalem with innocent blood; which Yah Veh willed to not forgive.

¹⁴ That I give your land rain in time - the early rain and the after rain; and you gather in your crop and your juice and your oil:

¹³ and she turns aside the clothes of her captivity and settles in your house; and weeps over her father and her mother a moon of days: and after that you go in to her and marry her and she becomes your woman.

²³ stay not his carcase on the tree overnight, but in entombing, entomb him that day; for he who is hanged has an abasement of Elohim; that your soil be not defiled, which Yah Veh your Elohim gives you - an inheritance.

⁴⁴ And the Peleshethiy says to David, Come to me and I give your flesh to the flyers of the heavens and to the animals of the field.

⁸ And the sovereign takes the two sons of Rispah the daughter of Ajah whom she birthed to Shaul - Armoni and Mephi Bosheth; and the five sons of Michal the daughter of Shaul, whom she birthed to Adri El the son of Barzillay the Mecholathiy: ⁹ and he gives them into the hands of the Giboniy and they impale them in the mountain at the face of Yah Veh: and they fall sevenfold together - deathified in the days of harvest at the first - in the beginning of barley harvest.

⁴¹ And Eli Yah says to Ach Ab, Ascend; eat and drink; for there is a voice of multitude of rain. ⁴² - and Ach Ab ascends to eat and to drink. And Eli Yah ascends to the top of Karmel and prostrates himself on the earth and set his face between his knees ⁴³ and says to his lad, Ascend now; look the way of the sea. And he ascends and looks and says, Naught! And he says, Turn back seven times. ⁴⁴ And so be it, at the seventh he says, Behold, a little thick cloud ascends from the sea - as a palm of a man. And he says, Ascend, say to Ach Ab, Bind; and descend that the rain not restrain you. ⁴⁵ And so be it, the heavens darken - thick clouds and wind and a great rain. - and Ach Ab rides and goes to Yizre El.

²⁷ And so be it, Ach Ab hears those words, and he rips his clothes and sets saq on his flesh and fasts and lies down in saq and walks gently.

²⁴ they say not in their heart, We now awe Yah Veh our Elohim - who gives downpour - both the early and the after in his time: he guards to us the statute weeks of the harvest. ²⁵ Your perversities pervert and your sins withhold good from you:

²² Are there any among the vanities of the goyim who can cause downpour? Or can the heavens give showers? Are you not he, O Yah Veh our Elohim? So we await you: for you worked all these.

⁴ You fall on the mountains of Yisra El - you and all your bands and the people with you: I give you to the swooper birds of every wing and to the live beings of the field for food:

³ And we know - we pursue to know Yah Veh: as the dawn he prepares his proceeding; and he comes to us as the downpour - as the after rain pouring to the earth.

¹⁸ How the animals sigh! The droves of cattle perplex, because they have no pasture; yes, the droves of flocks have guilted.

²³ And twirl, you sons of Siyon; and cheer in Yah Veh your Elohim: for he gives you the early pour in justness, and he brings down the downpour for you - the early rain and the after rain in the first.

THE PROVISION OF YAH VEH
Ask rain of Yah Veh in the time of the after rain! Yah Veh works lightnings and gives them downpours of downpour - herbage to every man in the field:

¹¹ And Boaz answers and says to her, In being told, I am told, of all you worked to your mother in law after the death of your man; and how you left your father and your mother and the land of your nativity and come to a people you knew not three yesters ago. ¹² May Yah Veh shalam your deed and a complete hire be given you of Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El, under whose wings you come to seek refuge.

⁴ and the men of Yah Hudah come and there they anoint David sovereign over the house of Yah Hudah. And they tell David, saying, The men of Yabesh Gilad entombed Shaul.

¹¹ And Menash Sheh has in Yissachar and in Asher Beth Shaan and her daughters and Yible Am and her daughters and the settlers of Dor and her daughters and the settlers of En Dor and her daughters and the settlers of Taanach and her daughters and the settlers of Megiddo and her daughters - three hills.

⁴ And the Peleshethiy gather and come and encamp in Shunem: and Shaul gathers all Yisra El and they encamp in Gilboa:

THE DEATH OF SHAUL
And the Peleshethiy fight Yisra El: and the men of Yisra El flee the face of the Peleshethiy and fall pierced in mount Gilboa:

¹⁰ And they set his instruments in the house of Ashtaroth: and they stake his body to the wall of Beth Shaan. ¹¹ And the settlers of Yabesh Gilad hear what the Peleshethiy work to Shaul; ¹² and all the men of valour rise and go all night and take the body of Shaul and the bodies of his sons from the wall of Beth Shaan and come to Yabesh and burn them there: ¹³ and they take their bones and entomb them under a grove at Yabesh and fast seven days.

⁶ And the young man tells him saying, In meeting, as I meet on mount Gilboa, behold, Shaul leans on his spear; and behold, the chariots and masters of the cavalry adhere after him.

²¹ You mountains of Gilboa, - neither dew nor rain be on you nor fields of exaltments: for there the buckler of the mighty loaths - the buckler of Shaul as not anointed with oil.

⁵ And David sends angels to the men of Yabesh Gilad and says to them, Blessed - you of Yah Veh to work this mercy to your adoni - to Shaul and entomb him: ⁶ and now, Yah Veh work mercy and truth to you; and I also work you this goodness because you worked this word: ⁷ and now strengthen your hands and become sons of valour: for your adoni Shaul died and also the house of Yah Hudah anointed me sovereign over them.

THE DEATH OF SHAUL
And the Peleshethiy fight Yisra El; and the men of Yisra El flee the face of the Peleshethiy and fall down pierced in mount Gilboa:

⁸ And so be it, on the morrow, the Peleshethiy come to strip the pierced, and they find Shaul and his sons fallen in mount Gilboa:

²⁷ And he says to them, Thus says Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El: Every man put his sword by his flank and pass in and turn from portal to portal throughout the camp and slaughter every man his brother and every man his companion and every man his near friend. ²⁸ And the sons of Levi work according to the word of Mosheh: and there fall of the people that day about three thousand men. ²⁹ And Mosheh says, Fill your hands today to Yah Veh, because man is against his son and against his brother; that he give you a blessing this day.

¹³ and he and his seed after him - even the covenant of an eternal priesthood; because he envies for his Elohim and kapars/atones for the sons of Yisra El.

²⁶ And they raise over him a great heap of stones to this day. Thus Yah Veh turns from the fuming of his wrath. So the name of that place is called, The Valley of Achor, to this day.

²⁸ and Sela, Chiliarch and Yebusi which is Yeru Shalem Gibath and Qiryath - fourteen cities with their courts. - this is the inheritance of the sons of Ben Yamin according to their families.

² When you go from me today, you find two men by the tomb of Rachel in the border of Ben Yamin at Selsach; and they say to you, The she burros you went to seek are found: and behold, your father left the word of the she burros and is concerned for you, saying, What work I for my son?

³² and they entomb Abi Ner in Hebron: and the sovereign lifts his voice and weeps at the tomb of Abi Ner; and all the people weep.

¹² And David misvahs his lads; and they slaughter them and chop off their hands and their feet and hang them over the pool in Hebron: and they take the head of Ish Bosheth and entomb it in the tomb of Abi Ner in Hebron.

²⁵ And there David builds a sacrifice altar to Yah Veh and holocausts holocausts and shelamim: and Yah Veh is intreated for the land and the plague is restrained from Yisra El.

⁴⁰ And Eli Yah says to them, Apprehend the prophets of Baal; that not a man of them escape. - and they apprehend them. And Eli Yah descends them to the wadi Qishon and slaughters them there. ⁴¹ And Eli Yah says to Ach Ab, Ascend; eat and drink; for there is a voice of multitude of rain.

DROUGHT, FAMINE, SWORD, AND PESTILENCE
And so be the word of Yah Veh to Yirme Yah concerning the dearth: ² Yah Hudah mourns and the portals languish - darkened to the earth; and the outcry of Yeru Shalem ascends: ³ and the mighty send their little ones to the waters: they come to the dugouts and find no water; they return with their instruments empty: they shame and are ashamed and cover their heads: ⁴ because the soil is broken for there is no downpour in the earth: the cultivators shame; they cover their heads. ⁵ And even the hind births in the field, and forsakes; because there is no sprout: ⁶ and the wild runners stand in the barrens; they gulp the wind as monsters; their eyes finish off because there is no herbage. ⁷ O Yah Veh, though our perversities answer against us, work this for sake of your name: for our apostasies abound by the myriads; we sin against you.

¹⁸ And Yah Veh is jealous for his land and compassions his people: ¹⁹ yes, Yah Veh answers to his people, Behold, I send you crop and juice and oil and satisfy you therewith: and I add not to give you as a reproach among the goyim:

WARNING VISIONS
Thus Adonay Yah Veh shows me; and behold, he forms grubbers in the beginning of the ascending of the after growth; and behold, it is the latter growth after the shearings of the sovereign. ² And so be it, they finish eating the herbage of the land, and I say, Adonay Yah Veh, forgive, I beseech you: How rises Yaaqov? For he is small. ³ Yah Veh sighs for this: So be it not, says Yah Veh. ⁴ Thus Adonay Yah Veh shows me: and behold, Adonay Yah Veh calls to contend by fire; and it consumes the great abyss and eats an allotment. ⁵ And I say, O Adonay Yah Veh, cease, I beseech you: How rises Yaaqov? For he is small. ⁶ Yah Veh sighs for this also: So be it not, says Adonay Yah Veh.

¹⁵ So they lift Yonah, and cast him into the sea and the sea stands from her raging:

⁸ And he cries on me, and words to me, saying, See, these going toward the north land rest my spirit in the north land.

¹⁰ And now behold, Yah Veh, as he worded, keeps me alive these forty-five years - since Yah Veh worded this word to Mosheh while Yisra El walked in the wilderness and now, behold, I am this day a son of eighty-five years. ¹¹ As yet I am as strong this day as the day Mosheh sent me: as my force then, thus my force now; for war, to go and to come:

¹⁷ And the Peleshethiy hear that they anoint David sovereign over Yisra El, all the Peleshethiy ascend to seek David; and David hears thereof and descends to the hold:

²² and the Peleshethiy add to ascend and to disperse in the valley of Rephaim.

²⁵ And thus David works as Yah Veh misvahs him; and smites the Peleshethiy from Geba until you come to Gezer.

And so be it, after this, war stands at Gezer with the Peleshethiy; and Sibbechay the Hushathiy smites Sippay, birthed of Rapha: and they are subdued.

⁹ Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my force finishes off.

¹⁸ and now that I age and grey; O Elohim, forsake me not until I tell of your arm to a generation and of your might to every one to come.

²⁶ My flesh and my heart finish off; but Elohim is the rock of my heart and my allotment eternally.

³ in the day the guards of the house agitate and the valiant men twist and the grinders cease because they diminished; and they who look from the windows darken;

²⁸ Know you not? Hear you not? that the eternal Elohim, Yah Veh, the Creator of the ends of the earth neither wearies nor belabors? There is no probing of his discernment. ²⁹ He gives strength to the weary; and to them of no strength, he abounds might. ³⁰ Even the lads weary and belabor, and in faltering, the youths falter:

²³ Thus says Yah Veh, O that the wise not halal in his wisdom - the mighty not halal in his might; the rich not halal in his riches: ²⁴ But he who halals, halal in this, that he comprehends and knows me; that I - Yah Veh work mercy, judgment, and justness in the earth for in these I delight - an oracle of Yah Veh.

²⁴ because all flesh is as herbage and all the glory of humanity as the blossom of herbage. The herbage withers and the blossom falls: ²⁵ and the rhema of Yah Veh abides to the eons: and this is the rhema evangelized to you.

⁴ There are Nephilim in the earth in those days; and also thus: when the sons of Elohim come in to the daughters of humanity and they birth to them, mighty ones; originally men of name:

⁵ and in the fourteenth year Kedorlaomer and the sovereigns with him come and smite the Rephaim in Ashteroth Qarnaim and the Zuziym in Ham and the Emim in Shaveh Qiryathayim

³² And they bring up a slander of the land they explored to the sons of Yisra El, saying, The land we passed through to explore is a land that eats them who settle there; and all the people we saw in their midst are men of measure: ³³ and there we saw the Nephilim, the sons of Anak of the Nephilim: and we were in our own eyes as grasshoppers and so we were in their eyes.

²⁸ Where ascend we? Our brothers melted our heart, saying, The people is greater and more exalted than we; the cities are great and fortified to the heavens; and we also saw the sons of the Anakiy there.

¹⁰ The Emim settled therein at their face, a great people and many and exalted, as the Anakiy;

²¹ a people great and many, and exalted as the Anakiy; but Yah Veh desolated them at their face; and they succeeded them and settled in their stead:

¹¹ For only Og sovereign of Bashan of the remnant of Rephaim survived; behold his bedstead - a bedstead of iron; Is it not in Rabbah of the sons of Ammon? nine cubits the length thereof and four cubits the width thereof, after the cubit of a man.

⁴ And a man of double size, named Golyath, of Gath, comes from the camp of the Peleshethiy; his height is six cubits and a span; ⁵ and he has a helmet of copper on his head and he is enrobed with a habergeon of mail; and the weight of the habergeon, five thousand shekels of copper:

⁴⁵ Then says David to the Peleshethiy, You come to me with a sword and with a spear and with a dart: but I come to you in the name of Yah Veh Sabaoth - Elohim of the ranks of Yisra El whom you reproach. ⁴⁶ This day Yah Veh shuts you into my hand; and I smite you and turn aside your head from you: and this day I give the carcases of the camp of the Peleshethiy to the flyers of the heavens and to the live beings of the earth; so that all the earth knows there is an Elohim in Yisra El: ⁴⁷ and all this congregation know that Yah Veh saves not with sword and spear: for the war is to Yah Veh and he gives you into our hands. ⁴⁸ And so be it, the Peleshethiy rises, and comes and approaches to meet David, and David hastens and runs toward the ranks to meet the Peleshethiy: ⁴⁹ and David spreads his hand in his instrument and he takes a stone from it and slings it and smites the Peleshethiy in his forehead so that the stone sinks into his forehead; and he falls on his face to the earth. ⁵⁰ And David prevails over the Peleshethiy with a sling and with a stone and smites the Peleshethiy and deathifies him; and there is no sword in the hand of David: ⁵¹ and David runs and stands on the Peleshethiy and takes his sword and draws it from its sheath and deathifies him and cuts off his head therewith. And the Peleshethiy see their mighty died and they flee:

¹⁸ and the Peleshethiy come and disperse in the valley of Rephaim.

¹⁸ And so be it, after this, there is war again with the Peleshethiy at Gob: then Sibbechay the Hushathiy smites Saph, who is birthed to Rapha.

²⁰ and again there is war in Gath and there is a man of measure - the digits of his hands are six and the digits of his feet are six - twenty-four in number: and he also is birthed to Rapha:

²² These four are birthed to Rapha in Gath and fall by the hand of David and by the hand of his servants. ]

⁷ and behold, the whole family rises against your maid and they say, Give him who smote his brother - to deathify him for the soul of his brother he slaughtered; and we desolate his successor also: and so they quench my coal which survives and set neither name nor survivors to my man on the face of the soil.

³ And the people say, You go not: for in fleeing, if we flee, neither set they their heart on us; nor if half of us die, set they their heart on us: but now you are as ten thousand of us: and now it is better that you help us from the city.

⁶ And David says to Abi Shai, Now Sheba the son of Bichri does us more evil than Abi Shalom: take the servants of your your adoni and pursue him; lest he find cities of protection and delivers himself from our eyes. ⁷ And the men of Yah Ab go after him - the executioners and the couriers and all the mighty; and they go from Yeru Shalem to pursue Sheba the son of Bichri: ⁸ and they are at the great stone in Gibon; and Amasa goes at their face: and the tailoring Yah Ab enrobes is girt to him with a girdle and a sword joins his loins in the sheath: and as he goes it falls out. ⁹ And Yah Ab says to Amasa, Are you in shalom, my brother? - and Yah Ab holds Amasa by the beard with his right to kiss him. ¹⁰ And Amasa regards not the sword in the hand of Yah Ab: and he smites him therewith in the fifth and pours his inwards to the earth and repeats it not; and he dies: and Yah Ab and Abi Shai his brother pursue after Sheba the son of Bichri.

¹⁹ They confront me in the day of my calamity and Yah Veh is my support:

²⁹ For you are my lamp, O Yah Veh; O Yah Veh, illuminate my darkness:

³⁶ and to his son I give one scion; so David my servant has a lamp all days at my face in Yeru Shalem - the city I chose to set my name there.

⁴ but for sake of David Yah Veh his Elohim gives him a lamp in Yeru Shalem - to raise his son after him and to station Yeru Shalem:

¹ To His Eminence; For the sons of Qorach; A song for Virgins. Elohim is our refuge and strength; a mighty help to find in tribulation;

¹⁷ there I sprout the horn of David; I arrange a lamp for my anointed;

¹⁰ - who gives salvation to sovereigns; who release David his servant from the evil sword.

⁸ he is not that Light - but witnesses concerning that Light ⁹ - the true light who lights every human coming into the cosmos.

³⁵ he was a burning and a manifest candle: and for an hour you willed to jump for joy in his light:

¹⁶ and Yishbo Be Nob, who is birthed to Rapha, whose spear weighs three hundred copper weight - being girded with a new one says of smitting David.

¹¹ The eighth for the eighth month: Sibbechay the Hushathiy, of the Zerachiy; and in his allotment - twenty-four thousand.

Cut a man of yours and descend him to me: ⁹ if he is able to fight me and to smite me, then we become your servants: and if I prevail against him and smite him, then you become our servants and serve us. ¹⁰ And the Peleshethiy say, I reproach the ranks of Yisra El this day; give me a man, to fight together. ¹¹ And Shaul and all Yisra El hear the words of the Peleshethiy, and they are terrified and mighty awed.

²⁶ And the mighty of valour: Asa El the brother of Yah Ab, El Hanan the son of Dodo of Beth Lechem,

⁵ And again there is war with the Peleshethiy; and El Hanan the son of Yaur smites Lachmi the brother of Golyath the Gittiy - whose spear timber is like the beam of a weaver. ⁶ And again there is war at Gath; there being a man of measure whose digits are six and six - twenty-four; and he also is birthed of Rapha:

⁹ Then Yishay passes Shammah by. And he says, Yah Veh chooses not this.

³ And the Peleshethiy stand on a mountain on this side; and Yisra El stands on a mountain on that side with a valley between.

¹⁰ And the Peleshethiy say, I reproach the ranks of Yisra El this day; give me a man, to fight together.

²⁵ and the men - the Yisra Eliy say, See you this man who ascends? He ascends to reproach Yisra El: and so be it, the man who smites him, the sovereign enriches him with great riches and gives him his daughter and works to liberate the house of his father in Yisra El. ²⁶ And David says to the men who stand by him, saying, What work you to the man who smites this Peleshethiy and turns aside the reproach from Yisra El? Who is this uncircumcised Peleshethiy, to reproach the ranks of the living Elohim?

³⁶ your servant smote both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Peleshethiy becomes as one of them, seeing he reproaches the ranks of the living Elohim.

¹³ Where is the sovereign of Hamath and the sovereign of Arpad and the sovereign of the city of Sepharvayim - of Hena and Avva?

¹³ and Yishay births his firstbirthed Eli Ab and Abi Nadab the second and Shimah the third

³² And Yah Nathan the uncle of David is a counsellor - a discerning man and a scribe: and Yechi El the son of Hachmoniy is with the sons of the sovereign:

¹⁵ The voice of shouting and salvation is in the tents of the just; the right of Yah Veh works valiantly:

¹¹ I returned and saw under the sun, neither is the race to the swift nor the war to the mighty nor yet bread to the wise nor yet riches to the discerning nor yet charism to the knowing: for time and coincidence happens to all.

²³ Thus says Yah Veh, O that the wise not halal in his wisdom - the mighty not halal in his might; the rich not halal in his riches:

NINE QUESTIONS, DIRECT AND RHETORICAL
So what say we to these? If Elohim is for us, who is against us?

³⁷ Rather, in all these we are exceedingly triumphant through him who loved us. ^{Psalm 44:22}
