⁴ But ere they lie down, the men of the city - the men of Sedom surround the house - from aged to lad - all the people from every extremity:

²³ And so be it, in these many days, the sovereign of Misrayim dies: and the sons of Yisra El sigh because of the service; and they cry because of the service and their cry ascends to Elohim:

WATER FROM THE ROCK
And all the witness of the sons of Yisra El pull stakes from the wilderness of Sin, on their journeys according to the mouth of Yah Veh; and encamp in Rephidim: and there is no water for the people to drink.

³ And there the people thirst for water; and the people murmur against Mosheh and say, Why ascended you us from Misrayim, to deathify us and our sons and our chattel with thirst?

⁸ Remember the shabbath day, to hallow it: ⁹ six days you serve and work all your work: ¹⁰ but the seventh day is the shabbath of Yah Veh your Elohim: work no work therein; neither you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your servant, nor your maid, nor your animals, nor your sojourner within your portals: ¹¹ for in six days Yah Veh worked the heavens and earth, the sea and all therein; and rested the seventh day: so Yah Veh blessed the shabbath day and hallowed it.

And Mosheh strokes the face of Yah Veh his Elohim and says, O Yah Veh, why kindle your wrath against your people whom you brought from the land of Misrayim with great force and with a strong hand?

² Six days work the work, but the seventh day becomes to you a holy - a shabbath of shabbathism to Yah Veh: deathify whoever works any work therein: ³ kindle no fire throughout your settlements on the shabbath day.

SEASON OF SHABBATH
Six days work the work: but the seventh day is the shabbath of shabbathism - a holy convocation; work no work therein: it is the shabbath of Yah Veh in all your settlements.

And Yah Veh pulls a wind and brings quails from the sea and leaves them by the camp, as a day journey thus and as a day journey thus all around the camp - as two cubits high on the face of the earth. ³² And all that day and all that night and all the morrow day the people rise and gather the quails - he the least gathers ten chomers: and in spreading, they spread them for themselves all around the camp: ³³ and while the flesh is yet between their teeth, ere it is cut, Yah Veh kindles his wrath against the people and Yah Veh smites the people with a mighty great stroke.

³ Now Mosheh the man is mighty humble, above all humanity on the face of the soil.

But on the morrow all the witness of the sons of Yisra El murmur against Mosheh and against Aharon, saying, You deathified the people of Yah Veh. ⁴² And so be it, when the witness congregates against Mosheh and against Aharon, they turn their face toward the tent of the congregation: and behold, the cloud covers it and the honor of Yah Veh is seen.

¹⁰ And Yah Veh says to Mosheh, Return the rod of Aharon at the face of the witness, to guard for a sign against the sons of rebellion; and finish off their murmurings from me, that they not die.

³ And the people chide with Mosheh, and speak, saying, O that we had expired when our brothers expired at the face of Yah Veh! ⁴ And why brought you the congregation of Yah Veh into this wilderness - we and our beasts, to die there? ⁵ And why ascended you us from Misrayim, to bring us in to this evil place? - neither place of seed or of figs or of vines or of pomegranates; nor any water to drink.
