ELOHIM TESTS ABRAHAM
And so be it, after these words, Elohim tests Abraham, and says to him, Abraham! And he says, Behold, - I.

¹² And he says, Neither spread your hand on the lad, nor work aught to him: for at this time I know you awe Elohim, seeing you withhold not your son - your only from me.

²⁵ And he cries to Yah Veh; and Yah Veh points out a tree which he casts into the waters - and the waters sweeten: and there he sets a statute and a judgment for them and there he tests them: ²⁶ and says, If in hearkening, you hearken to the voice of Yah Veh your Elohim and work straight in his eyes and hearken to his misvoth and guard all his statutes, I put none of these sicknesses on you, which I put on the Misrayim: for I - Yah Veh Raphah.

¹⁰ The day you stood at the face of Yah Veh your Elohim in Horeb, when Yah Veh said to me, Congregate the people to hear my words - to learn to awe me all the days they live on the soil and to teach their sons.

² to awe Yah Veh your Elohim, to guard all his statutes and the misvoth I misvahed you - you and your son and the son of your son all the days of your life; and to prolong your days.

² and remember all the way Yah Veh your Elohim carried you these forty years in the wilderness - to humble you and to test you - to know what was in your heart, whether or not you guarded his misvoth:

AWE YAH VEH And now, Yisra El, what asks Yah Veh your Elohim of you, but to awe Yah Veh your Elohim - to walk in all his ways and to love him and to serve Yah Veh your Elohim with all your heart and with all your soul;

³ - hearken not to the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for Yah Veh your Elohim is testing you, to know whether you love Yah Veh your Elohim with all your heart and with all your soul.

YAH SHUA CHALLENGES YISRA EL Now awe Yah Veh and serve him in integrity and in truth: and turn aside the elohim your fathers served beyond the river and in Misrayim; and serve Yah Veh:

²⁰ And Shemu El says to the people, Awe not: for all this evil you worked: only, turn not aside from after Yah Veh, but serve Yah Veh with all your heart;

¹⁵ the former governors at my face are heavy to the people and take bread and wine of them, besides forty shekels of silver; also their lads dominate over the people: but I work not thus at the face of the awe of Elohim:

²⁸ And to humanity he says, Behold, to Adonay is wisdom; and to turn aside from evil, discernment.

⁷ to awe of Yah Veh is the beginning of knowledge; fools disrespect wisdom and discipline.

⁷ be not wise in your own eyes; awe Yah Veh and turn aside from evil

⁶ By mercy and truth iniquity kapars/atones; and by the awe of Yah Veh evil turns aside.

¹³ Hallow Yah Veh Sabaoth himself to be your awe and to be your dread.

¹⁰ awe not; for I am with you: look not around; for I am your Elohim: I strengthen you; yes, I help you; yes, I uphold you with the right of my justness.
