²⁴ Neither prostrate to their elohim, nor serve them, nor work after their works: but in demolishing, demolish them and in breaking, break their monoliths;

⁵ But work thus with them; pull down their sacrifice altars and break down their monoliths and cut down their asherim and burn their sculptiles with fire.

²⁵ Burn the sculptiles of their elohim with fire: neither desire the silver or gold that is on them, nor take it to you, lest you be snared therein: for it is an abhorrence to Yah Veh your Elohim. ²⁶ Neither bring an abhorrence into your house, lest you be devoted as it: but in abominating, abominate it and in abhorring, abhor it; for it is devoted.

² In destroying, destroy all the places, wherein the goyim you possess serve their elohim - on the exalted mountains and on the hills and under every green tree: ³ and pull down their sacrifice altars and break their monoliths and burn their asherim with fire; and cut down the sculptiles of their elohim and destroy their names from that place.

²¹ Neither plant an asherah of any trees beside the sacrifice altar of Yah Veh your Elohim which you work,

² and you, cut no covenant with the settlers of this land; pull down their sacrifice altars - and you hearken not to my voice: Why work you this?

²⁵ And so be it, the same night, Yah Veh says to him, Take the young steer ox of your father and the second bullock of seven years; and demolish the sacrifice altar of Baal of your father and cut down the asherah by it:

⁴ he turns aside the bamahs and breaks the monoliths and cuts down the asherim and crushes the copper serpent Mosheh worked: for in those days the sons of Yisra El incensed to it: and he called it Coppery/Nechustan.

And all this is finished, all the Yisra Eliy they find go to the cities of Yah Hudah and break the monoliths and cut down the asherim and pull down the bamahs and the sacrifice altars from all Yah Hudah and Ben Yamin and in Ephrayim and Menash Sheh until they finish them off: and all the sons of Yisra El return, every man to his possession, to their own cities.

³ And in the eighth year of his reign - he is still a lad he begins to seek after the Elohim of David his father: and in the twelfth year he begins to purify Yah Hudah and Yeru Shalem from the bamahs and the asherim and the sculptiles and the molten: ⁴ and they pull down the sacrifice altars of Baalim from his face; and he cuts down the sun icons over above them; and he pulls down and pulverizes the asherim and the sculptiles and the moltens, and sprinkles on the face of the tombs of them who sacrificed to them:
