2 Misvah the sons of Yisra El, and say to them, When you come to the land of Kenaan; - this is the land that falls to you by inheritance - the land of Kenaan with the borders thereof: 3 then the south edge from the wilderness of Sin along by the hand of Edom - yes, the south border is yours from the ends of the salt sea eastward: 4 and the border surrounds from the south to the ascent of Akrabbim and passes on to Sin: and the exits are from the south to Qadesh Barnea; and go on to Hasar Addar and pass on to Asmon: 5 and the border surrounds from Asmon to the wadi of Misrayim and the exits are at the sea. 6 And as for the seaward border, even the great sea is your border: this is your seaward border. 7 And this is your north border: from the great sea survey mount Hor for yourselves 8 - survey from mount Hor to the entrance of Hamath; and the exits of the border are to Sedad: 9 and the border goes on to Ziphron and the exits are at Hasar Enan: this is your north border. 10 and mark out your east border from Hasar Enan to Shepham: 11 and the border descends from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ayin; and the border descends and spreads to the shoulder of the sea of Kinneroth eastward: 12 and the border descends to Yarden and the exits are at the salt sea: this becomes your land with the borders thereof all around. 13 And Mosheh misvahs the sons of Yisra El, saying, This is the land you inherit by pebble, which Yah Veh misvahed to give to the nine rods and to the half rod: 14 for the rod of the sons of Reu Ben according to the house of their fathers and the rod of the sons of Gad according to the house of their fathers, took; and half the rod of Menash Sheh took their inheritance: 15 the two rods and the half rod took their inheritance on this side Yarden near Yericho eastward, toward the rising.

Joshua 14:1-15

1
ALLOTMENT OF THE LAND OF KENAAN And these are those the sons of Yisra El inherit in the land of Kenaan; which El Azar the priest and Yah Shua the son of Nun and the heads of the fathers of the rods of the sons of Yisra El distribute for their inheritance: 2 their inheritance is by pebble, as Yah Veh misvahed by the hand of Mosheh for the nine rods and for the half rod. 3 For Mosheh gives the inheritance of two rods and a half rod beyond Yarden: and he gives no inheritance among the Leviym. 4 For the sons of Yoseph are two rods - Menash Sheh and Ephrayim: and they give no allotment to the Leviym in the land except cities to settle with their suburbs for the chattel they chatteled. 5 As Yah Veh misvahed Mosheh, thus the sons of Yisra El work and allot the land. 6
THE CLAIM OF KALEB Then the sons of Yah Hudah come near to Yah Shua in Gilgal: and Kaleb the son of Yephunneh the Qenaziy says to him, You know the word Yah Veh worded to Mosheh the man of Elohim concerning me and you in Qadesh Barnea. 7 I - a son of forty years when Mosheh the servant of Yah Veh sent me from Qadesh Barnea to spy the land; and I returned him word as it was in my heart: 8 and my brothers who ascended with me melted the heart of the people; but I fully followed after Yah Veh my Elohim. 9 And on that day, Mosheh oathed, saying, Surely the land whereon your feet trod the inheritance is yours and your sons, eternally because you followed after Yah Veh my Elohim. 10 And now behold, Yah Veh, as he worded, keeps me alive these forty-five years - since Yah Veh worded this word to Mosheh while Yisra El walked in the wilderness and now, behold, I am this day a son of eighty-five years. 11 As yet I am as strong this day as the day Mosheh sent me: as my force then, thus my force now; for war, to go and to come: 12 and now, give me this mountain, whereof Yah Veh worded in that day; for you heard in that day how the Anaqiy were there and that the cities were great and cut off: if so be, Yah Veh be with me and I dispossessed them as Yah Veh worded. 13 And Yah Shua blesses him and gives Kaleb the son of Yephunneh Hebron for an inheritance. 14 So Hebron becomes the inheritance of Kaleb the son of Yephunneh the Qenaziy to this day, because he fully followed after Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El. 15 And the former name of Hebron was Qiryath Arba; - a great human among the Anaqiy.
