¹⁷ And so be it, in her hard birthing, the accoucheuse says to her, Awe not; you have this son also. ¹⁸ And so be it, as her soul departs - for she dies she calls his name Ben Oni - and his father calls him Ben Yamin.

THE DREAMS OF YOSEPH
Yoseph, a son of seventeen years, tends the flock with his brothers; and the lad with the sons of Bilhah and with the sons of Zilpah, the women of his father: and Yoseph brings their slander to his father.

⁴ And when his brothers see that their father loves him more than all his brothers they hate him; and cannot word shalom to him.

And Yoseph is beautiful in form and beautiful in visage. ⁷ And so be it, after these words, that the woman of his adoni lifts her eyes on Yoseph; and she says, Lie with me. ⁸ But he refuses, and says to the woman of his adoni, Behold, my master perceives not what is with me in the house and he gives all he has into my hand; ⁹ no one in this house is greater than I; and he withholds naught from me except you, because you are his woman: how then work I this great evil and sin against Elohim? ¹⁰ And so be it, as she words to Yoseph day by day, he hearkens not to her, to lie beside her, or to be with her: ¹¹ and so be it, this day, he goes into the house to work his work; and there no man of the men of the house is within the house: ¹² and she captures him by his clothes, saying, Lie with me! - and he leaves his clothes in her hand and flees and gets out. ¹³ And so be it, when she sees he leaves his clothes in her hand, and flees, ¹⁴ she calls to the men of her house and says to them, saying, See, he brings a man to us - a Hebrew to ridicule us; he comes in to me to lie with me and I call with a great voice: ¹⁵ and so be it, when he hears me lift my voice and call, he leaves his clothes beside me and flees and gets out. ¹⁶ - and she sets his clothes beside her until his adoni comes home. ¹⁷ And she words to him according to these words, saying, The Hebrew servant, whom you brought to us, came in to me, to ridicule me: ¹⁸ and so be it, as I lift up my voice and call, he leaves his clothes beside me and flees. ¹⁹ And so be it, when his adoni hears the words his woman words to him, saying, After this word your servant worked to me - his wrath kindles. ²⁰ And the adoni of Yoseph takes him and gives him into the tower house, a place where the bound of the sovereign are bound: and there he is in the tower house. ²¹ And Yah Veh is with Yoseph and spreads him mercy; and gives him charism in the eyes of the governor of the tower house: ²² and the governor of the tower house gives into the hand of Yoseph all who are bound in the tower house: and whatever they work there, he is the worker thereof: ²³ the governor of the tower house sees after naught under his hand; because Yah Veh is with him and whatever he works, Yah Veh prospers.

And so be it, after these words, someone tells Yoseph, Behold, your father is sick: and he takes with him his two sons, Menash Sheh and Ephrayim. ² And someone tells Yaaqov and says, Behold, your son Yoseph comes to you. - and Yisra El strengthens himself and sits on the bed. ³ And Yaaqov says to Yoseph, El Shadday appeared to me at Luz in the land of Kenaan and blesses me, ⁴ and says to me, Behold, I have you bear fruit and abound you and I give you a congregation of people; and give this land to your seed after you for an eternal possession. ⁵ And now your two sons, Ephrayim and Menash Sheh, birthed to you in the land of Misrayim until I came to you into Misrayim, they are mine; as Reu Ben and Shimon, they are mine: ⁶ and your kindred, which you birthed after them, they are yours: call them after the name of their brothers in their inheritance. ⁷ And as for me, when I came from Padan, Rachel died by me in the land of Kenaan in the way when there was still a bit of land to come to Ephrath: and I entombed her there in the way of Ephrath - Beth Lechem. ⁸ And Yisra El sees the sons of Yoseph, and says, Who are these? ⁹ And Yoseph says to his father, They are my sons, whom Elohim gave me. And he says, Take them, I pray you, to me; and I bless them. ¹⁰ And the eyes of Yisra El became heavy from aging so that he cannot see: and he brings them near him; and he kisses them and embraces them. ¹¹ And Yisra El says to Yoseph, I had not prayed to see your face: and behold, Elohim also shows me your seed. ¹² And Yoseph brings them out from between his knees and he prostrates with his nostrils to the earth: ¹³ and Yoseph takes the two of them, Ephrayim in his right toward the left of Yisra El; and Menash Sheh in his left toward the right of Yisra El and brings them near to him: ¹⁴ and Yisra El spreads his right and puts it on the head of Ephrayim the lesser and his left on the head of Menash Sheh - crossing his hands; for Menash Sheh is the firstbirth. ¹⁵ And he blesses Yoseph and says, Elohim, at whose face my fathers Abraham and Yischaq walked, Elohim who tends me all my life long to this day, ¹⁶ the Angel who redeems me from all evil, bless the lads: and call my name on them and the name of my fathers Abraham and Yischaq: and that they spawn as fish into a multitude midst of the earth. ¹⁷ And Yoseph sees that his father put his right on the head of Ephrayim; and it is evil in his eyes: and he upholds the hand of his father to turn it aside from the head of Ephrayim to the head of Menash Sheh: ¹⁸ and Yoseph says to his father, Not so, my father: for this is the firstbirth; put your right on his head. ¹⁹ And his father refuses and says, I know, my son, I know: he also becomes a people and he also greatens: but his younger brother becomes greater than he and his seed becomes a fulness of goyim. ²⁰ And he blesses them that day, saying, In you, Yisra El blesses, saying, Elohim sets you as Ephrayim and as Menash Sheh: and he sets Ephrayim at the face of Menash Sheh. ²¹ And Yisra El says to Yoseph, Behold, I die: and Elohim be with you and return you to the land of your fathers. ²² Moreover I give to you one shoulder above your brothers, which I took from the hand of the Emoriy with my sword and with my bow.

³³ - and Yah Veh goes his way as soon as he finishes wording with Abraham: and Abraham returns to his place.

⁶ And Abraham says to him, Guard that you not return my son there. ⁷ Yah Veh Elohim of the heavens who took me from the house of my father and from the land of my kindred and who had worded to me and who oathed to me, saying, I give this land to your seed - he sends his angel at your face to take a woman to my son from there.

PAULOS PREPARES A THIRD VISIT
Behold, I prepare to come to you a third time; and I am not insensitive to you; for I seek not yours - but you: for the children are not indebted to treasure for the parents, but the parents for the children.

⁸ And if anyone provides not for his own and specially for those of his own house, he denies the trust and is worse than the trustless.

⁴ And the Giboniy says to him, We have silver and gold neither of Shaul nor of his house; nor for us to deathify any man in Yisra El.
