² And Yah Veh has a controversy with Yah Hudah and visits on Yaaqov according to his ways - according to his exploits he returns to him.

¹⁹ Yah Hudah also guards not the misvoth of Yah Veh their Elohim but walks in the statutes Yisra El works. ²⁰ And Yah Veh refuses all the seed of Yisra El and humbles them; and gives them into the hand of plunderers until he casts them from his face:

¹¹ Woe to the wicked - evil: for the dealing of his hands works to himself.

⁷ so, behold, Adonay ascends upon them the waters of the river, mighty and many, the sovereign of Ashshur and all his honor: and he ascends over all his reservoirs and goes over all his banks: ⁸ and he passes through Yah Hudah; he overflows and passes over; he touches to the neck: and the spreading of his wings fills the breadth of your land, O Immanu El.

⁶ I send him against a goyim of profaners and against the people of my wrath; I misvah him to take the spoil and to plunder the plunder; and to set them for trampling as the heap of the outways:

¹² And so be it, when Adonay clips his whole work on mount Siyon and on Yeru Shalem, I visit upon the fruit of the greatness of heart of the sovereign of Ashshur and the adornment of his haughty eyes.

²¹ And so be it, in that day, Yah Veh visits upon the host of the high ones on high and the sovereigns of the soil upon the soil:

¹⁸ According to their dealings, thus he shalams fury to his tribulators, dealing to his enemies; he shalams to the islands.

⁸ and I see, when for all the causes whereby apostate Yisra El adulterized I sent her away and gave her a scroll of divorce; yet her sister Yah Hudah who deals covertly awes not, and goes and whores also. ⁹ And so be it, through the voice of her whoredom she profanes the land, and adulterizes with stones and with timber. ¹⁰ And yet for all this her sister Yah Hudah who deals covertly returns not to me with her whole heart, but in falsehood - an oracle of Yah Veh. ¹¹ And Yah Veh says to me, The apostate Yisra El justifies her soul more than Yah Hudah who deals covertly.

³¹ An uproar approaches the ends of the earth; for Yah Veh has a controversy with the goyim: he judges all flesh; he gives the wicked to the sword - an oracle of Yah Veh.

¹¹ And her sister Oholi Bah sees this, and in her panting, she ruins more than her, and in her whoredoms more than her sister in her whoredoms. ¹² She pants after the neighboring sons of Ashshur - governors and prefects enrobed most splendidly, - cavalry riding on horses - all youths of desire. ¹³ Then I see her foul - one way to both; ¹⁴ and she increases her whoredoms: for when she sees men engraved on the wall - images of the Kesediym engraved with vermilion ¹⁵ girdled with girdles on their loins exceeding in dyed attire on their heads - all of them tertiaries in visage after the likeness of the sons of Babel of Kesediym, the land of their kindred. ¹⁶ And at the sight of her eyes, she pants after them, and sends angels to them to Kesediym: ¹⁷ and the sons of Babel come to her into the bed of love, and they foul her with their whoredom and she is fouled by them; and her soul alienates from them: ¹⁸ and she exposes her whoredoms and exposes her nakedness: and I alienate my soul from her as I alienated my soul from her sister: ¹⁹ and she abounds her whoredoms in remembering the days of her youth wherein she whored in the land of Misrayim: ²⁰ and she pants after their concubines - whose flesh is as the flesh of burros and whose flux is as the flux of horses. ²¹ You visit the intrigue of your youth, in working your nipples by the Misrayim for the breasts of your youth.

³¹ you walk in the way of your sister; and I give her cup into your hand. ³² Thus says Adonay Yah Veh: Drink of the cup of your sister - deep and large: you are ridiculed and derided - containing an increase

¹³ and I visit on her the days of Baalim, wherein she incenses to them; and adorns herself with her noserings and her ornaments, and goes after her lovers, and forgets me - an oracle of Yah Veh.

THE CONTROVERSY OF YAH VEH
Hear the word of Yah Veh, you sons of Yisra El: because of a controversy of Yah Veh with the settlers of the land; because there is neither truth nor mercy nor knowledge of Elohim in the land:

⁹ and so be it, as people, as priest: and I visit on them for their ways, and return their exploits.

¹³ they sacrifice flesh for the sacrifices of my holocausts, and eat; Yah Veh is not pleased with them; now he remembers their perversity and visits their sins: they return to Misrayim.

⁹ They deepen; they ruin as in the days of Gibah: he remembers their perversity; he visits their sins.

² Hear the controversy of Yah Veh, O mountains, and you perennial foundations of the earth: for Yah Veh has a controversy with his people and he reproves Yisra El.

²⁷ For the Son of humanity comes in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he gives each according to his acts.

⁶ who gives back to each according to his works:

⁷ be not seduced: Elohim is not snubbed: for whatever a human spores he also harvests;
