¹⁴ And behold, you rise in the stead of your fathers - an abundance of sinful men, to scrape together yet the fuming wrath of Yah Veh toward Yisra El.

And Shemu El takes a flask of oil and pours it on his head and kisses him and says, Is it not because Yah Veh anoints you eminent over his inheritance?

¹⁸ and I survive seven thousand in Yisra El - all the knees who bowed not to Baal and every mouth who kissed him not.

¹³ and say to them, Bring not the captives here for the guilt against Yah Veh is on us; and you say to add to our sins and to our guilt: for our guilt is great and there is fuming wrath against Yisra El.

²³ and humbles not himself at the face of Yah Veh as Menash Sheh his father humbled himself: for Amon abounds his guilt.

⁴ Their idols are silver and gold the work of human hands: ⁵ mouths have they, but they word not; eyes have they, but they see not; ⁶ ears have they, but they hear not; nostrils have they, but they scent not; ⁷ hands have they, but they touch not; feet have they, but they walk not; they mutter not through their throat. ⁸ They who work them are like them; thus is every one who confides in them.

¹⁷ ears, and they hearken not; nose, and their is no spirit/wind in their mouth. ¹⁸ They who work them are likened to them; thus every one who confides in them.

⁵ Why be smitten any more? You increase revolt; the whole head is sick; and the whole heart bleeds:

HO TO THE REVOLTING SONS
Ho to the revolting sons - an oracle of Yah Veh who work counsel, but not mine; and who pour a pouring, but not of my spirit, who scrape up sin to sin:

¹⁷ and of what survives, he works an el - his sculptile: he prostrates thereto - prostrates and prays thereto, and says, Rescue me; for you are my el. ¹⁸ They neither know nor discern: for he daubs their eyes from seeing, and their hearts from comprehending: ¹⁹ and no one turns to his heart; there is neither knowledge nor discernment to say, I burn half in the fire; yes, also I bake bread on the coals; I roast flesh and eat: and I work the remnant an abhorrence: I prostrate to the product of a tree. ²⁰ He grazes on ashes: a mocked heart perverts him that he neither rescues his soul, nor says, Is there not a falsehood in my right?

²⁰ Gather and come; draw near together, you escapees of the goyim: they who bear the timber of their sculptile, know not, and pray to an el who saves not.

⁶ They scatter gold from the pouch and weigh silver in the beam and hire a refiner; and he works an el thereof: they prostrate; yes, they prostrate:

⁸ Remember this, be manly: restore heart, O you rebels.

⁴ they beautify with silver and with gold; they strengthen with nails and with hammers so that it wiggles not:

⁸ And as one, they are brutish and foolish: the tree is a discipline of vanities.

⁸ - and she knows not that I gave her crop and juice and oil; and abounded her silver and gold which they worked for Baal.

⁴ they set sovereigns, but not by me: they set dominators, and I know not: they work idols of their silver and their gold and cut themselves off.

⁶ For even of Yisra El: the engraver works it; and it is not of Elohim: for the calf of Shomeron shatters.

¹ Yisra El is an evacuated vine, he equates fruit to himself: as the abundance of his fruit he abounds the sacrifice altars; as the goodness of his land they make goodly monoliths:

⁶ and the sword whirls on his cities and finishes off his branches and consumes because of their own counsels.

¹⁸ What profit is the sculptile to the former who sculpts - or the molten, to a teacher of falsehoods, Confides the former of its form to work mute idols? ¹⁹ Ho to him who says to the timber, Waken! - to the silent stone, Waken! It teaches! Behold, it is manipulated with gold and silver, and there is no spirit at all in its midst.

²² professing themselves to be wise they became fools; ²³ and changed the glory of the uncorruptible Elohim into an icon likened to corruptible humanity and to flyers and quadrupeds and creepers. ²⁴ So Elohim also surrendered them to impurity in the pantings of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies among themselves: ²⁵ who exchanged the truth of Elohim into a lie and venerated and liturgized the creature beyond the Creator - who is eulogized to the eons. Amen.

⁵ But according to your hardness and unrepentant heart you treasure to yourself wrath in the day of wrath and apocalypse of the just judgment of Elohim;

⁴ But what words the oracle to him? I leave to myself seven thousand men, who bow not the knee to Baal. ^{1 Kings 19:18}
