ACHAZ REIGNS OVER YAH HUDAH
In the seventeenth year of Peqach the son of Remal Yah, Achaz the son of Yah Tham, sovereign of Yah Hudah begins to reign. 2 Achaz is a son of twenty years when he begins to reign; and reigns sixteen years in Yeru Shalem and works not straight in the eyes of Yah Veh his Elohim as David his father: 3 and he walks in the way of the sovereigns of Yisra El yes, and passes his son through the fire according to the abhorrences of the goyim - whom Yah Veh dispossessed from the face of the sons of Yisra El: 4 and he sacrifices and incenses in the bamahs and on the hills and under every green tree. 5 Then Resin sovereign of Aram and Peqach son of Remal Yah sovereign of Yisra El ascend to Yeru Shalem to war: and they besiege Achaz but cannot fight. 6 At that time, Resin sovereign of Aram restores Eloth to Aram and plucks the Yah Hudiym from Eloth: and the Edomiy come to Eloth and settle there to this day. 7 And Achaz sends angels to Tilgath Pileser sovereign of Ashshur, saying, I am your servant and your son: ascend and save me from the palm of the sovereign of Aram and from the palm of the sovereign of Yisra El who rise against me. 8 And Achaz takes the silver and gold found in the house of Yah Veh and in the treasures of the house of the sovereign; and sends it for a bribe to the sovereign of Ashshur: 9 and the sovereign of Ashshur hearkens to him: and the sovereign of Ashshur ascends against Dammeseq and apprehends it and captures it to Qir; and deathifies Resin. 10 And sovereign Achaz goes to Dammeseq to meet Tilgath Pileser sovereign of Ashshur and sees a sacrifice altar at Dammeseq: and sovereign Achaz sends Uri Yah the priest a likeness and a pattern of the sacrifice altar according to all the works thereof: 11 and Uri Yah the priest builds a sacrifice altar according to all sovereign Achaz sends from Dammeseq: thus Uri Yah the priest works it to the coming of sovereign Achaz from Dammeseq: 12 and the sovereign comes from Dammeseq and the sovereign sees the sacrifice altar: and the sovereign approaches the sacrifice altar and holocausts thereon: 13 and he incenses his holocaust and his offering and pours his libation and sprinkles the blood of his shelamim on the sacrifice altar: 14 and he approaches the copper sacrifice altar at the face of Yah Veh from the face of the house - from between the sacrifice altar and between the house of Yah Veh - and gives it on the north flank of the sacrifice altar: 15 and sovereign Achaz misvahs Uri Yah the priest, saying, On the great sacrifice altar incense the morning holocaust and the evening offering and the holocaust and offering of the sovereign, with the holocaust of all the people of the land and their offering and their libations; and sprinkle thereon all the blood of the holocaust and all the blood of the sacrifice: and the copper sacrifice altar is for me to search by. 16 And Uri Yah the priest works according to all sovereign Achaz misvahs: 17 and sovereign Achaz chops off the borders from the bases and twists off the laver from them; and descends the sea off the copper oxen under it and gives it on the pavement of stones: 18 and the portico for the shabbath they build in the house and the outside entry of the sovereign, he turns from the face of the house of Yah Veh at the face of the sovereign of Ashshur. 19 Now the rest of the words Achaz works, are they not inscribed in the scroll of the words of the days of the sovereigns of Yah Hudah? 20 And Achaz lies down with his fathers and is entombed with his fathers in the city of David: and Yechizqi Yah his son reigns in his stead.

YECHIZQI YAH REIGNS IN YERU SHALEM
And so be it, in the third year of Hoshea son of Elah sovereign of Yisra El, Yechizqi Yah the son of Achaz sovereign of Yah Hudah reigns: 2 a son of twenty-five years when he begins to reign; and he reigns twenty-nine years in Yeru Shalem: the name of his mother, Abi the daughter of Zechar Yah: 3 and he works straight in the eyes of Yah Veh, according to all David his father worked: 4 he turns aside the bamahs and breaks the monoliths and cuts down the asherim and crushes the copper serpent Mosheh worked: for in those days the sons of Yisra El incensed to it: and he called it Coppery/Nechustan. 5 He confides in Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El; and there is none like him among all the sovereigns of Yah Hudah - neither after him nor at his face: 6 and he adheres to Yah Veh and turns not aside from after him; but guards the misvoth Yah Veh misvahed Mosheh: 7 and Yah Veh is with him; he comprehends wherever he goes: and he rebels against the sovereign of Ashshur and serves him not: 8 he smites the Peleshethiy to Azzah - to the borders; from the tower of the guards to the fortified city. 9 And so be it, in the fourth year of sovereign Yechizqi Yah - the seventh year of Hoshea son of Elah sovereign of Yisra El, Shalmaneser sovereign of Ashshur ascends against Shomeron and besieges it: 10 and at the end of three years they capture it: in the sixth year of Yechizqi Yah - in the ninth year of Hoshea sovereign of Yisra El Shomeron is captured: 11 and the sovereign of Ashshur exiles Yisra El to Ashshur; and guides them in Halach and in Habor by the river Gozan; and in the cities of the Madaim: 12 because they hearken not to the voice of Yah Veh their Elohim; but trespass his covenant; and all that Mosheh the servant of Yah Veh misvahed they neither hearken nor work them. 13 And in the fourteenth year of sovereign Yechizqi Yah, Sancherib sovereign of Ashshur ascends against all the cut off cities of Yah Hudah and apprehends them. 14 And Yechizqi Yah sovereign of Yah Hudah sends to the sovereign of Ashshur to Lachish saying, I sinned; turn away from me: whatever you give on me, I bear. And the sovereign of Ashshur sets to Yechizqi Yah sovereign of Yah Hudah three hundred rounds of silver and thirty rounds of gold: 15 and Yechizqi Yah gives him all the silver found in the house of Yah Veh and in the treasures of the house of the sovereign. 16 At that time, Yechizqi Yah chops off the doors of the manse of Yah Veh and the pillars Yechizqi Yah sovereign of Yah Hudah overlaid; and gives them to the sovereign of Ashshur: 17 and the sovereign of Ashshur sends Tartan the chief eunuch and Rab Shaqeh/the chief butler from Lachish to sovereign Yechizqi Yah with heavy valiant against Yeru Shalem: and they ascend and come to Yeru Shalem: and they ascend and come and stand by the Pool Elyon in the highway of the field of the fuller: 18 and they call to the sovereign; and El Yaqim the son of Hilqi Yah who is over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and Yah Ach the son of Asaph the remembrancer go out to them. 19 And Rab Shaqeh/the chief butler says to them, Now say to Yechizqi Yah, Thus says the great sovereign the sovereign of Ashshur, What is this confidence wherein you confide? 20 For you said, They are but words of lips! I have counsel and might for the war! Now on whom confide you, to rebel against me? 21 Now, behold, confide you on the staff of this crushed stalk - on Misrayim - on which, if a man prop, it goes into his palm and pierces? Thus is Paroh sovereign of Misrayim to all who confide on him. 22 And if you say to me, We confide in Yah Veh our Elohim! - Is that not he, whose bamahs and whose sacrifice altars Yechizqi Yah turned aside? - Who said to Yah Hudah and Yeru Shalem, Prostrate at the face of this sacrifice altar in Yeru Shalem? 23 And now, I beseech you, pledge to my adoni the sovereign of Ashshur and I give you two thousand horses if you can, for your part, give riders on them. 24 How then turn you away the face of one governor of the least of the servants of my adoni to confide on Misrayim for chariots and for cavalry? 25 Now, ascend I without Yah Veh, against this place to ruin it? Yah Veh says to me, Ascend against this land and ruin it. 26 And El Yaqim the son of Hilqi Yah and Shebna and Yah Ach say to Rab Shaqeh/the chief butler, Word, I beseech you, to your servants in Aramaic; for we hear it: and word not with us in Yah Hudaic in the ears of the people on the wall. 27 And Rab Shaqeh/the chief butler says to them, My adoni, sends he me to word these words to your master and to you? - and not to the men who settle on the wall - to eat their own dungs and drink the urine at their feet with you? 28 Then Rab Shaqeh/the chief butler stands and calls with a great voice in Yah Hudaic, and words saying, Hear the word of the great sovereign - the sovereign of Ashshur; 29 thus says the sovereign, Neither let Yechizqi Yah deceive you for he is not able to rescue you from his hand: 30 nor let Yechizqi Yah have you confide in Yah Veh saying, In rescuing, Yah Veh rescues us; that this city not be given into the hand of the sovereign of Ashshur: 31 Hearken not to Yechizqi Yah: for thus says the sovereign of Ashshur, Work a blessing with me and come out to me; and eat - every man of you of his own vine and every man of his fig tree and drink - every man of you of the waters of his well: 32 until I come and take you away to a land like your own land - a land of crop and juice a land of bread and vineyards a land of oil olive and of honey - to live and not die: and hearken not to Yechizqi Yah, who goads you, saying, Yah Veh rescues us. 33 In rescuing, have any of the elohim of the goyim rescued a man his land from the hand of the sovereign of Ashshur? 34 Where are the elohim of Hamath and of Arpad? Where are the elohim of Sepharvayim, Hena and Avva? Rescued they Shomeron from my hand? 35 Who are they among all the elohim of the lands who rescued their land from my hand, that Yah Veh rescue Yeru Shalem from my hand? 36 And the people hush and answer him not a word: for the misvah of the sovereign is, saying, Answer him not. 37 Then El Yaqim the son of Hilqi Yah who is over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and Yah Ach the son of Asaph the remembrancer, come to Yechizqi Yah with their clothes ripped and tell him the words of Rab Shaqeh/the chief butler.

UZZI YAH REIGNS OVER YAH HUDAH
And all the people of Yah Hudah take Uzzi Yah - a son of sixteen years to reign in the stead of his father Amaz Yah. 2 He builds Eloth and restores it to Yah Hudah, after the sovereign lies down with his fathers. 3 A son of sixteen years is Uzzi Yah when he begins to reign; and he reigns fifty-two years in Yeru Shalem. the name of his mother, Yechol Yah of Yeru Shalem. 4 And he works straight in the eyes of Yah Veh, according to all his father Amaz Yah worked: 5 and he seeks Elohim in the days of Zechar Yah, - who discerns in the seeings of Elohim: and in the days he seeks Yah Veh Elohim prospers him. 6 And he goes and fights the Peleshethiy and breaks the wall of Gath and the wall of Yabneh and the wall of Ashdod; and builds cities around Ashdod and among the Peleshethiy: 7 and Elohim helps him against the Peleshethiy and against the Arabiy who settle in Gur Baal and the Maoniy: 8 and the Ammoniy give offerings to Uzzi Yah: and his name goes to the entering of Misrayim; for he strengthens exceedingly. 9 Uzzi Yah builds towers in Yeru Shalem at the corner portal and at the valley portal and at the corners and strengthens them: 10 and he builds towers in the wilderness and hewes many wells: for he has much chattel - both in the lowlands and in the plains - cultivators and vine dressers in the mountains and in orchards/Karmel: for he loves the soil: 11 and Uzzi Yah has a host of valiant warriors who work war - who go to the hostility by troops; according to the number mustered by the hand of Yei El the scribe and Maase Yah the officer under the hand of Hanan Yah, of the governors of the sovereign: 12 the whole number of the head of the fathers of the mighty of valour - two thousand and six hundred: 13 and under their hand is a host - three hundred thousand and seven thousand and five hundred who work war with valiant force to help the sovereign against the enemy. 14 And throughout all the host Uzzi Yah prepares for them bucklers and javelins and helmets and habergeons and bows and stones for slings: 15 and in Yeru Shalem he works fabrications - the fabrication of fabricators to be on the towers and on the corners from which to flow arrows and great stones: and his name goes afar off; for they help him marvellously until he prevails. 16 And he strengthens, and exalts his heart to his ruin; and he treasons against Yah Veh his Elohim: and goes into the manse of Yah Veh to incense on the sacrifice altar of incense. 17 And Azar Yah the priest goes in after him and eighty priests of Yah Veh with him - sons of valour: 18 and they withstand Uzzi Yah the sovereign and say to him, This becomes you not, Uzzi Yah, to incense to Yah Veh: but only to the priests, the sons of Aharon, who are hallowed to incense: go from the holies; for you treason; it is not for your honor from Yah Veh Elohim. 19 And Uzzi Yah rages: and has a censer in his hand to incense: and as he rages with the priests, the leprosy rises in his forehead at the face of the priests in the house of Yah Veh beside the incense sacrifice altar. 20 And Azar Yah, the head priest and all the priests face him, and behold, he is leprous in his forehead and they hasten him from thence; yes, he himself also hastens to go out because Yah Veh touched him: 21 and Uzzi Yah the sovereign is a leper to the day of his death and settles in a liberty house - a leper; for he is cut off from the house of Yah Veh: and Yah Tham his son is over the house of the sovereign judging the people of the land. 22 And the rest of the words of Uzzi Yah - first and last Yesha Yah the prophet the son of Amos, inscribes. 23 And Uzzi Yah lies down with his fathers - entombed with his fathers in the field of the tomb of the sovereigns; for they say, He is a leper: and Yah Tham his son reigns in his stead.
