THE CONTROVERSY OF YAH VEH
Hear the word of Yah Veh, you sons of Yisra El: because of a controversy of Yah Veh with the settlers of the land; because there is neither truth nor mercy nor knowledge of Elohim in the land: ² oathing and lying and murder and stealing and adulterizing separate; and blood touches blood. ³ So the land mourns and every one settling therein languishes with the live beings of the field and with the flyers of the heavens; yes, the fishes of the sea are gathered: ⁴ yet neither strive with man nor reprove man: for your people are as they who strive with the priest. ⁵ And you falter in the day and the prophet also falters with you in the night; and I sever your mother. ⁶ My people are severed for lack of knowledge: because you spurn knowledge, I also spurn you from priesting to me: seeing you forget the torah of your Elohim, I also forget your sons. ⁷ According to their abundance, thus they sin against me: so I change their honor into abasement. ⁸ They eat the sin of my people, and they lift their soul on their perversity: ⁹ and so be it, as people, as priest: and I visit on them for their ways, and return their exploits. ¹⁰ For they eat, and satisfy not: they whore, and not break forth: because they forsake to guard to Yah Veh. ¹¹ Whoredom and wine and juice take away the heart: ¹² my people ask at their trees, and their staff tells them: for the spirit of whoredoms strays them and they whore from under their Elohim: ¹³ they sacrifice on the mountain tops and incense on the hills; under oaks and poplars and terebinth because the shadow is good: so your daughters whore and your brides adulterize. ¹⁴ I neither visit on your daughters when they whore; nor your brides when they adulterize: for they separate with whores and they sacrifice with hallowed whores: a people who discerns not, falls. ¹⁵ Though you, Yisra El, whore, and you, O Yah Hudah, neither guilt nor come to Gilgal; neither ascend to Beth Aven nor oath, Yah Veh lives. ¹⁶ For Yisra El rebels as a revolting heifer; now Yah Veh tends them as a lamb in an expanse: ¹⁷ Ephrayim joins with idols; leave him alone: ¹⁸ their potion turns; they whore continually: her bucklers love abasement: ¹⁹ the wind binds her in her wings, and they shame because of their sacrifices.

¹⁹ And he says, Therefore hear the word of Yah Veh: I see Yah Veh settled on his throne and all the host of the heavens stand by him at his right and at his left.

¹⁰ Hear the word of Yah Veh you commanders of Sedom; hearken to the torah of our Elohim you people of Amorah:

¹⁸ Come, I beseech, and we reason, says Yah Veh: though your sins be as scarlet, they whiten as snow; though they be reddened like crimson, they be as wool.

¹³ Yah Veh stations himself to plead and stands to plead the cause of the people. ¹⁴ Yah Veh enters into judgment with the elders of his people and the governors: for you burnt the vineyard; the stripping of the humble is in your houses.

³ And now, O settlers of Yeru Shalem and men of Yah Hudah, judge, I beseech you, between me and my vineyard.

¹⁴ So hear the word of Yah Veh, you scornful men who reign over this people in Yeru Shalem:

YAH VEH JUDGES THE GOYIM
Approach, you goyim, to hear; and hearken, you nations: hear, O earth, and all its fulness; the world, and all its offspring:

⁸ for it is the day of avengement of Yah Veh and the year of satisfactions for the strife of Siyon.

¹³ In rebelling and lying against Yah Veh; and departing from our Elohim: wording oppression and revolt; conceiving and muttering from the heart words of falsehood: ¹⁴ and judgment removes backward and justness stands afar off: for truth falters in the broadway and straightforwardness cannot enter. ¹⁵ Yes, truth lacks; and he who turns aside from evil, spoils: and Yah Veh sees, and it is evil in his eyes that there is no judgment.

⁵ Hear the word of Yah Veh, you who tremble at his word; your brothers who hate you, who cast you out for sake of my name, say, Yah Veh is honored: and we see your cheerfulness, and they shame:

⁴ You, hear the word of Yah Veh, O house of Yaaqov, and all the families of the house of Yisra El:

²² For my people are foolish, they know me not; foolish sons and they discern not: wise to vilify and to well-please they know not.

²⁸ for this the earth mourns and the heavens above darken - because I worded it; I intrigued: and I neither sigh nor turn back therefrom.

⁴ And I - I say, Surely these are poor; they folly: for they know neither the way of Yah Veh nor the judgment of their Elohim.

¹³ For from their least, even to their greatest, every one greedily gains to greedy gain; and from the prophet, even to the priest, every one works falsely:

² Stand in the portal of the house of Yah Veh and call out this word, and say, Hear the word of Yah Veh, all Yah Hudah, who enter in at these portals to prostrate in front of Yah Veh: ³ thus says Yah Veh Sabaoth the Elohim of Yisra El, Well-prepare your ways and your exploits, and I tabernacle you in this place. ⁴ Confide not in false words, saying, The manse of Yah Veh! The manse of Yah Veh! The manse of Yah Veh are they! ⁵ For if, in well-preparing, you well-prepare your ways and your exploitations; if in working, you work judgment between a man and his friend; ⁶ if you oppress not the sojourner, the orphan, and the widow, and pour not innocent blood in this place, and walk not after other elohim to your evil:

²⁸ and say to them, This goyim neither hearkens to the voice of Yah Veh their Elohim, nor takes discipline: trustworthiness destructs; yes, it is cut off from their mouth.

²⁰ Yet hear the word of Yah Veh, O you women, and your ear take the word of his mouth; and teach your daughters lamentation and every woman her friend lamentation.

³ and say, Hear the word of Yah Veh, O sovereigns of Yah Hudah and settlers of Yeru Shalem; thus says Yah Veh Sabaoth, Elohim of Yisra El: Behold, I bring evil on this place, by which whoever hears, his ears tingle:

³¹ An uproar approaches the ends of the earth; for Yah Veh has a controversy with the goyim: he judges all flesh; he gives the wicked to the sword - an oracle of Yah Veh.

⁴ Yet hear the word of Yah Veh, O Sidqi Yah sovereign of Yah Hudah; Thus says Yah Veh of you: You die not by the sword:

THE JUDGMENT OF YAH VEH AGAINST YISRA EL
Hear this, O priests; and hearken, you house of Yisra El; and hearken, O house of the sovereign: for judgment is toward you because you become a snare on Mispeh, and a net spread over Tabor:

² And Yah Veh has a controversy with Yah Hudah and visits on Yaaqov according to his ways - according to his exploits he returns to him.

¹⁶ And now, hear the word of Yah Veh: You say, Neither prophesy against Yisra El nor drip against the house of Yischaq.

² Hear the controversy of Yah Veh, O mountains, and you perennial foundations of the earth: for Yah Veh has a controversy with his people and he reproves Yisra El.

² the merciful destruct from the earth; and no one among humanity is straight: they all lurk for blood; every man hunts his brother with a net ³ to do evil with both palms well-pleasingly, the governor and the judge ask for satisfaction; and the great words of the mischief of his soul: thus they pervert. ⁴ Their best is as a thorn; straighter than a thorn hedge: the day of your watchers and your visitation comes - now their perplexity. ⁵ Neither trust in a friend nor confide in a chiliarch: guard the opening of your mouth from her who lies in your bosom:

⁵⁵ yet you know him not; but I know him: and whenever I say, I know him not, I become a liar like you: but I know him, and guard his word.

²⁸ And exactly as they approve to not regard Elohim in knowledge, Elohim surrenders them to a disapproved mind, to do what is not becoming;

³⁴ Sober up justly and sin not; for some are unknowing of Elohim: I word this to shame you.

¹¹ Whoever has an ear, hear what the Spirit words to the ecclesiae: Whoever triumphs is never no way injured of the second death.

²⁹ Whoever has an ear, hear what the Spirit words to the ecclesiae.

⁵ and the earth is profaned under the settlers; because they trespassed the torah, passed over the statute, broke the eternal covenant.

THE HARDNESS OF YISRA EL
Hear this, O house of Yaaqov - called by the name of Yisra El coming from the waters of Yah Hudah; who oaths by the name of Yah Veh and memorializes Elohim of Yisra El - neither in truth, nor in justness.

² but your perversities separate between you and between your Elohim; and your sins hide his face from hearing you. ³ For you profane your palms with blood and your fingers with perversity; your lips word falsehoods your tongue mutters wickedness: ⁴ no one calls for justness and no one pleads for trustworthiness: they confide in waste and word vanity; they conceive toil and birth mischief: ⁵ they split the eggs of the hisser, and weave the web of the spider: he who eats their eggs dies, and the crushed egg splits into a hisser. ⁶ Neither their webs become clothes, nor cover they themselves with their works: their works are works of mischief and the deed of violence is in their palms. ⁷ Their feet run to evil and they hasten to pour innocent blood: their fabrications are fabrications of mischief; ravage and breaking are in their highways: ⁸ the way of shalom they know not and there is no judgment in their route: they make them perverted paths; whoever treads therein knows not shalom.

¹² For our rebellions abound by the myriads in front of you; and our sins answer against us: for our rebellions are with us; and as for our perversities, we know them.

THE SEARCH FOR THE MAN WHO WORKS JUDGMENT
Flit through the outways of Yeru Shalem; and see, I beseech, and know; and seek in the broadways - if you find a man - if there be any who work judgment - who seek trustworthiness; and I forgive. ² And if they say, Yah Veh lives! - surely they oath falsely.

⁷ How forgive I you for this? Your sons forsake me, and oath by them who are non-elohim: when I oath them, they adulterize and troop in the whore houses: ⁸ they wander as nourished horses; every man sounds after the woman of his friend. ⁹ Visit I not for these? - an oracle of Yah Veh and avenge I not my soul on such a goyim as this?

²⁶ for wicked are found among my people: they observe, as he who weaves snares; they station a ruin, they captivate men: ²⁷ as a cage full of flyers, thus are their houses full of deceit: so they greaten and enrich;

⁷ As digging a well for waters, thus she digs her evil: violence and ravage is heard in her; at my face continually is sickness and wounds.

⁶ if you oppress not the sojourner, the orphan, and the widow, and pour not innocent blood in this place, and walk not after other elohim to your evil: ⁷ then I tabernacle you in this place in the land I gave to your fathers eternally and eternally. ⁸ Behold, you confide in false words that benefit not; ⁹ you steal, murder, and adulterize, and oath falsely and incense to Baal; and walk after other elohim whom you know not: ¹⁰ and then you come and stand at my face in this house on which my name is called, and say, We are rescued! in order to work all these abhorrences.

² Oh that it be, that I be in the wilderness as a lodging place of caravans; and I forsake my people and go from them; for they all adultererize - a private assembly who deals covertly: ³ and they bend their tongues as their bow for falsehood: and as for trustworthiness, they prevail not mightily on the earth; for they proceed from evil to evil and they know me not - an oracle of Yah Veh. ⁴ On guard, every man, of his friend and confide not in any brother: for in tripping the heel every brother trips the heel; and every friend walks with talebearers: ⁵ and every man mocks his friend and words not the truth: they teach their tongue to word falsehoods and weary themselves to pervert. ⁶ You settle midst deceit; through deceit they refuse to know me - an oracle of Yah Veh. ⁷ So thus says Yah Veh Sabaoth, Behold, I refine them, and proof them; for how work I at the face of the daughter of my people? ⁸ Their tongue is a slaughtering arrow; wording deceit: wording shalom to his friend with his mouth, but setting his inwards to lurk.

¹⁰ For the land is filled with adulterers; for at the face of oathing, the land mourns; the folds of the wilderness wither and their race is evil; and their might, not right. ¹¹ For both prophet and priest profane; yes, in my house I found their evil - an oracle of Yah Veh. ¹² So their way is to them as slippery in the darkness: they are overthrown and fall therein: for I bring evil on them - the year of their visitation - an oracle of Yah Veh. ¹³ And I see frivolity in the prophets of Shomeron; they prophesy in Baal, and stray my people Yisra El: ¹⁴ and I see a horror in the prophets of Yeru Shalem; they adulterize and walk in falsehoods: yes, they strengthen the hands of vilifiers so that no man returns from his evil: they all are to me as Sedom and the settlers as Amorah.

¹³ Because of the sins of her prophets and the perversities of her priests, who pour the blood of the just in her midst,

² You, son of humanity, Judge you? Judge you the city of blood? Yes, have her know all her abhorrences, ³ saying, Thus says Adonay Yah Veh: The city pours blood in its midst, so that her time approaches: and she works idols against herself to foul herself. ⁴ You guilt in that you pour blood; and foul yourself by the idols you work; and you cause your days to approach, and approach your years: so I give you - a reproach to the goyim and a ridicule to all lands. ⁵ The near, and the far from you, all ridicule you, O polluted of name and much confused. ⁶ Behold, the hierarchs of Yisra El, every man of you, according to his arm, pours blood: ⁷ in you they abase father and mother: in your midst they worked oppression with the sojourner: in you they vex the orphan and the widow. ⁸ You despise my holies and you profane my shabbaths: ⁹ in you are men - talebearers to pour blood: and in you they eat on the mountains: in your midst they work intrigue: ¹⁰ in you they expose the nakedness of their fathers: in you they debase her who was excluded for foulness. ¹¹ And every man works abhorrence with the woman of his friend: and every man intriguingly fouls his daughter in law: and every man in you debases his sister - the daughter of his father: ¹² in you they take bribes to pour blood: you take usury and bounty and you greedily gain of your friends by extortion: and forget me - an oracle of Adonay Yah Veh. ¹³ And behold, I smite my palm at the greedy gain you work; and at your blood in your midst. ]

²⁵ - a conspiracy of prophets in her midst: as a roaring lion tearing the prey, they devour souls: they take the wealthy and esteemed; they abound her widows in her midst: ²⁶ her priests violate my torah and profane my holies: they neither separate between the holy and profane nor make known between the foul and the pure; and conceal their eyes from my shabbaths, and I am profaned among them. ²⁷ Her governors midst her are as wolves tearing the prey, to pour blood; to destroy souls; to greedily gain greedy gain: ²⁸ and her prophets daub them with slime - seers of vanity, divining lies to them, saying, Thus says Adonay Yah Veh: when Yah Veh words not. ²⁹ The people of the land in oppressing, oppress; and in stripping, strip; and vex the humble and needy: yes, they oppress the sojourner without judgment. ³⁰ And I seek for a man among them, to wall up the wall, and stand in the breach at my face for the land to not ruin it: and I find no one:

² and the deviates deepen to slaughter, and I discipline them all.

⁹ and as troops await a man, a commune of priests murders in the way to Shechem: for they work intrigue.

¹ When I heal Yisra El, then I expose the perversity of Ephrayim and the evil of Shomeron; for they do falsehood: and the thief enters and the troop strips in the outways:

³ they cheer the sovereign with their evil and the governors with their deceptions:

⁴ They word words; oathing vainly in cutting a covenant: thus judgment springs as rosh in the furrows of the field:

¹⁴ Ephrayim vexes himself with bitterness: and he abandons his blood on him, and Adonay returns his reproach to him.

¹ Ho to them who fabricate mischief - who work evil on their beds! In the light of the morning, they work because it is in the el of their hand: ² and they desire fields and strip them; and houses, and bear them away: and oppress a mighty and his house - even a man and his inheritance. ³ So thus says Yah Veh: Behold, I fabricate an evil against this family from which you neither depart your necks nor go haughtily: for this is a time of evil.

² - Who hate the good and love the evil? Who strip their skin from off them and their flesh from off their bones?

⁹ Hear this, I beseech you, you heads of the house of Yaaqov and commanders of the house of Yisra El - who abhor judgment and pervert all straightness

¹⁰ Are there yet treasures of wickedness in the house of the wicked? And the emaciated ephah that enrages?

² the merciful destruct from the earth; and no one among humanity is straight: they all lurk for blood; every man hunts his brother with a net

HO TO YERU SHALEM
Ho to her who rebels and profanes, - the oppressing city!

³ And he says to me, This is the oath going over the face of the whole earth: for every one who steals is exonerated as on this side, thus; and every one who oaths is exonerated as on that side, thus.

⁹ Thus says Yah Veh Sabaoth: saying, Judge judgment in truth, and every man, work mercy and mercies to his brother:

³⁵ so that all the just blood poured on the earth comes upon you - from the blood of just Abel - to the blood of Zechar Yah son of Berech Yah whom you murdered between the nave and the sacrifice altar.

⁵² Which of the prophets have your fathers not persecuted? And they slaughtered them who pre-evangelized concerning the coming of the Just - of whom you now become traitors and murderers:

¹⁵ who slaughtered both Adonay Yah Shua and their own prophets and persecuted us; and they please not Elohim and are contrary to all humanity:

⁶ And I see the woman intoxicated from the blood of the holy and from the blood of the witnesses of Yah Shua: and when I see her I marvel a mega marvel.

⁴ The earth mourns and withers; the world languishes and withers; the high people of the earth languish: ⁵ and the earth is profaned under the settlers; because they trespassed the torah, passed over the statute, broke the eternal covenant. ⁶ So the oath devours the earth, and the settlers therein guilt: so the settlers of the earth scorch and few men survive: ⁷ the juice mourns; the vine languishes; all the cheerful sigh: ⁸ the joy of tambourines shabbathizes; the uproar of them who jump for joy ceases; the joy of the harp shabbathizes: ⁹ they drink no wine with a song; strong drink embitters them who drink: ¹⁰ the city of waste breaks down: every house is shut so that no man comes in. ¹¹ There is an outcry for wine in the outways: all cheerfulness is obscured; the joy of the land is exiled: ¹² desolation survives in the city; and the portal is crushed with waste.

⁹ The earth mourns and languishes; Lebanon blushes and withers; Sharon is as a plain; and Bashan and Karmel/orchard shake.

²⁵ I see, and behold, no human; and all the flyers of the heavens flee:

²⁷ For thus says Yah Veh, The whole land becomes desolate; yet I work not a final finish: ²⁸ for this the earth mourns and the heavens above darken - because I worded it; I intrigued: and I neither sigh nor turn back therefrom.

⁴ How long mourns the land? And the herbs of every field wither for their evil who settle therein? The animals are scraped away, and the flyers; because, they say, He sees not our final end.

²⁰ so that the fishes of the sea and the flyers of the heavens and the live beings of the field and all creepers creeping on the soil and all the humans on the face of the soil quake at my face: and the mountains demolish and the steep steps fall and every wall falls to the earth:

¹⁰ the field is ravaged; the soil mourns; for the crop is ravaged: the juice withers; the oil languishes. ¹¹ Shame, O you cultivators! Howl, O you vinedressers! for the wheat and for the barley; because the harvest of the field is destroyed. ¹² The vine withers and the fig tree languishes; - pomegranate tree, also palm tree and apple tree - all trees of the field wither: because rejoicing withers from the sons of humanity. ¹³
CALL TO REPENTANCE
Gird and mourn, you priests! Howl, you ministers of the sacrifice altar! Come, stay overnight in saq, you ministers of my Elohim: for the offering and the libation is withheld from the house of your Elohim.

² And he says, Yah Veh roars from Siyon and gives his voice from Yeru Shalem; and the folds of the tenders mourn and the top of Karmel/orchard withers.

THE DAY OF YAH VEH
So, thus says Yah Veh Elohim Sabaoth Adonay: Chopping is in all streets; and in all the outways, they say, Hah! Hah! and they call the cultivator to mourning and such as know lamentation to chopping:

⁸ Quakes not the land for this? And every one who settles therein mourns? And it all ascends as a light and expels and drowns as by the river of Misrayim.

⁴ he rebukes the sea and withers and dries all the rivers: Bashan and Karmel/orchard languish; and the blossom of Lebanon languishes:

³ I gather humanity and animal; I gather the flyers of the heavens and the fishes of the sea, and the stumblingblocks with the wicked: and I cut off humanity from the face of the soil - an oracle of Yah Veh.

¹² And the man who works arrogance, and hearkens not to the priest who stands to minister there at the face of Yah Veh your Elohim, or to the judge, even that man dies: and you burn away the evil from Yisra El.

¹⁸ And they say, Come! We fabricate fabrications against Yirme Yah; for neither the torah destructs from the priest nor counsel from the wise nor the word from the prophet: Come, and smite him with the tongue, and hearken not to any of his words.

²⁶ and I stick your tongue to your palate and mute you, that you not become their man reprover: for they are a rebellious house.

¹⁷ Ephrayim joins with idols; leave him alone:

¹³ So, in that time, the comprehending keep still; for it is an evil time.

¹⁰ and his uncle and his cremater lift him to bring the bones from the house, and say to him who is by the flanks of the house, Are there yet any with you? And he says, Final. Then he says, Hush: for we memorialize not the name of Yah Veh.

TWIGS AND BEAMS
And why look at the twig in the eye of your brother, but perceive not the beam in your own eye? ⁴ Or, how say you to your brother, Allow me to eject the twig from your eye; and behold, a beam in your own eye? ⁵ You hypocrite! First eject the beam from your own eye; and then you see clearly to eject the twig from the eye of your brother. ⁶
GIVING, ASKING, SEEKING, AND KNOCKING
Neither give the holy to the hounds nor cast you your pearls in front of swine; lest ever they trample them at their feet and turn and rip you apart.

¹³ and the people neither turn to him who smites them, nor seek they Yah Veh Sabaoth: ¹⁴ and Yah Veh cuts off from Yisra El head and tail, palm leaf and rush, in one day. ¹⁵ The elder and lifted face, he is the head; and the prophet teaching falsehood, he is the tail. ¹⁶ For this people who blithe them cause them to stray; and the blithed are swallowed. ¹⁷ So Adonay neither cheers in their youths, nor mercies their orphans and widows: for every one is a profaner and a vilifier and every mouth words folly. For all this he turns not away his wrath and still spreads his hand.

THE SIN OF YISRA EL
Thus says Yah Veh, Where is the scroll of divorcement of your mother whom I sent away? Or to which of my exactors have I sold you? Behold, for your perversities you sold yourselves, and for your rebellions is your mother sent away.

⁴ You, hallow war against her! Rise! We ascend at noon! Woe to us! For the day faces away; for the shadows of the evening spread. ⁵ Rise! We ascend by night and ruin her citadels.

¹² and turn their houses to others together with their fields and women: for I spread my hand on the settlers of the land - an oracle of Yah Veh. ¹³ For from their least, even to their greatest, every one greedily gains to greedy gain; and from the prophet, even to the priest, every one works falsely: ¹⁴ and they heal the breeching of my people slightly, saying, Shalom! Shalom! when there is no shalom. ¹⁵ Shame they when they work abhorrence? No! In shaming, they neither shame nor know how to shame: so they fall among the fallen: at the time I visit them, they falter, says Yah Veh.

¹⁰ So I give their women to others and their fields to their successors: for every one from the least even to the greatest greedily gains to greedy gain - from the prophet even to the priest - every one works falsely. ¹¹ And they heal the breech of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Shalom! Shalom! when there is no shalom. ¹² Shame they when they work abhorrence? No, in shaming, they neither shame, nor know they to blush: so they fall among the fallen: - falter in the time of their visitation, says Yah Veh.

¹⁵ So thus says Yah Veh concerning the prophets who prophesy in my name, whom I sent not, yet they say, Sword and famine become not in this land; the sword and famine consumes those prophets: ¹⁶ and the people to whom they prophesy are cast out in the outways of Yeru Shalem at the face of the famine and the sword: and there is no one to entomb them - them, their women, their sons and their daughters: for I pour their evil on them.

⁸ Their widows are mighty to me above the sand of the seas: I bring on them - against the mother of the youths a ravager at noon: I fell her suddenly with terrors and anguish:

⁹ Concerning the prophets: My heart within me is broken; all my bones flutter; I am as an intoxicated man and as the mighty overpassed by wine at the face of Yah Veh, and at the face of the words of his holiness.

¹² your mother shames mightily; she who birthed you blushes: behold, the backword of the goyim are a wilderness, a parch, and a plain:

⁹ and my hand becomes on the prophets, seers of vanity and diviners of lies: they are neither in the private counsel of my people, nor inscribed in the inscribing of the house of Yisra El, nor enter they the soil of Yisra El; and you know I - Adonay Yah Veh. ¹⁰ Because, even because they seduce my people, saying, Shalom; and there is no shalom; and one builds a wall; and behold, others daub it with slime. ¹¹ Say to them who daub it with slime, It falls! There becomes an overflowing downpour; and you, O great hailstones, fall: and a stormy wind splits: ¹² behold, when the wall falls, say they not to you, Where is the daubing with which you daubed? ¹³ So thus says Adonay Yah Veh: I split it with a stormy wind in my fury; and so be it, an overflowing downpour in my wrath and great hailstones in my fury to fully finish it off: ¹⁴ thus I demolish the wall you daubed with slime so that it touches to the earth, so that the foundation exposes and falls and finishes you off in the midst: and you know I - Yah Veh. ¹⁵ Thus I finish off my fury on the wall and on them who daubed it with slime and say to you, The wall is not: they who daubed it are not; ¹⁶ - the prophets of Yisra El who prophesy concerning Yeru Shalem - seers of visions of shalom for her and there is no shalom - an oracle of Adonay Yah Veh.

⁷ for each man of the house of Yisra El or of the sojourner who sojourns in Yisra El, who separates himself from after me, and ascends his idols in his heart, and sets the stumblingblock of his perversity at his face, and goes to a prophet to inquire of him concerning me; I Yah Veh answer him by myself: ⁸ and I give my face against that man and desolate him - a sign and a proverb and I cut him off from midst my people; and you know I - Yah Veh. ⁹ And if the prophet, when he is deluded, and words a word, I Yah Veh delude that prophet, and I spread my hand on him, and desolate him from midst my people Yisra El. ¹⁰ And they bear their perversity: the perversity of the prophet even as the perversity of him who inquires;

⁴⁴ Behold, every one who proverbializes proverbs proverbializes this proverb against you, saying, As the mother, thus her daughter. ⁴⁵ You are the daughter of your mother who loathes her man and her sons; and you are the sister of your sisters, who loathe their men and their sons: your mother is a Hethiy and your father an Emoriy:

² Plead with your mother - plead: for she is neither my woman nor I her man: have her turn aside her whoredoms from her face and her adulteries from between her breasts;

⁷ The days of visitation approach, the days of satisfaction approach; Yisra El knows: the prophet is a fool: the man of the spirit is insane, because of the abundance of your perversity and the great enmity. ⁸ Ephrayim is the watcher of my Elohim: the prophet is a snare of the snarer in all his ways; and enmity is in the house of his El.

⁵ Thus says Yah Veh concerning the prophets who stray my people - who bite with their teeth and call out, Shalom; who give not into their mouths, and hallow war against him. ⁶ So your night is without a vision and darkness without a divination: and the sun goes down over the prophets and the day darkens over them: ⁷ and the seers shame and the diviners blush: yes, they all cover their upper lip; for there is no answer, O Elohim.

⁸ And in one month, I chop off three tenders; and my soul loathes them, and their soul also loathes me.

² And so be it, in that day, - an oracle of Yah Veh Sabaoth I cut off the names of the idols from the land, - no more remembered: and also I pass the prophets and the spirit of foulness from the land.

THE SONS OF ELI
And the sons of Eli are sons of Beli Yaal; they know not Yah Veh.

²⁸ And of all the scions of Yisra El choose I him to be my priest? - to holocaust on my sacrifice altar? To incense incense? - to bear an ephod at my face? - to give the house of your father all the firings of the sons of Yisra El? ²⁹ Why trample you at my sacrifice and at my offering which I misvah in my habitation? - and honor your sons above me to cut the firstlings of all the offerings of Yisra El my people? ³⁰ So - an oracle of Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El In saying, I say, that your house and the house of your father walk at my face eternally: and now - an oracle of Yah Veh far be it from me; for they who honor me, I honor; and they who despise me, I abase. ³¹ Behold, the days come, that I cut off your arm and the arm of the house of your father that there not be an old man in your house. ³² And you, look at the tribulation of my habitation, in all that Elohim well-prepares for Yisra El: that there not be an old man in your house all days: ³³ and the man of yours, whom I cut not off from my sacrifice altar, finishes off your eyes and lanquishes your soul: and of all the increase of your house, these men die. ³⁴ And this is a sign to you to come on your two sons - on Hophni and Pinechas; in one day they die - both of them: ³⁵ and I raise me a trustworthy priest, to work according to what is in my heart and in my soul: and I build him a permanent house; and he walks at the face of my anointed all days. ³⁶ And so be it, every one who remains in your house comes and prostrates to him for a coin of silver and a round of bread, and says, Scrape me, I beseech you, into one of the priesthoods, that I may eat a morsel of bread.

¹² In that day I raise against Eli all whom I worded concerning his house - begin, and finish: ¹³ and I tell him that I judge his house eternally for the perversity of which he knows; because his sons abase themselves and he dims them not: ¹⁴ and so I oath to the house of Eli, that the perversity of the house of Eli kapars/atones with neither sacrifice nor offering eternally. ¹⁵ And Shemu El lies down until the morning and opens the doors of the house of Yah Veh: and Shemu El awes to tell Eli the vision.

¹⁶ and they leave all the misvoth of Yah Veh their Elohim; and work moltens - two calves and work an asherah and prostrate to all the host of the heavens and serve Baal: ¹⁷ and they pass their sons and their daughters through the fire; and divine divination and prognostications and sell themselves to work evil in the eyes of Yah Veh - to vex him. ¹⁸ So Yah Veh angers mightily at Yisra El and turns them aside from his face: none survive except only, the scion of Yah Hudah: ¹⁹ Yah Hudah also guards not the misvoth of Yah Veh their Elohim but walks in the statutes Yisra El works. ²⁰ And Yah Veh refuses all the seed of Yisra El and humbles them; and gives them into the hand of plunderers until he casts them from his face:

³ And many days Yisra El is without the true Elohim and without a teaching priest and without torah:

¹² and if they hearken not, they pass away expired by the spear, and die without knowledge.

⁶¹ The cords of the wicked surround me; I forget not your torah:

¹³⁹ my zeal exterminates me because my tribulators forget your words:

³⁰ they will not my counsel; they scorn all my reproof; ³¹ they eat of the fruit of their own way and satiate with their own counsels: ³² for the apostasy of the gullible slaughters them and the serenity of fools destroys them.

² Also, without knowledge, the soul is not good; and he who hastens with his feet, sins.

³ The ox knows his chatteler and the burro the manger of his master: Yisra El knows not; my people discern not.

¹² As for my people, exploiters exact from them and women reign over them. O my people, they who blithe you cause you to stray, and swallow the way of your paths.

¹³ So my people are exiled, because they have no knowledge: and their honorable men are famished, and their multitude parched with thirst.

¹⁰ Because you forgot Elohim of your salvation, and remembered not the rock of your stronghold, so you plant pleasant plants and seed with strange twigs:

¹¹ when the harvests wither, they break them off: the women come, and light them: for it is a people of no understanding: so he who worked them, mercies them not, and he who formed them, grants them no charism.

⁷ And even they, through wine, err inadvertently; and through intoxicants, stagger; the priest and the prophet, through intoxicants, err inadvertently - swallowed by wine: they stagger through intoxicants; they err inadvertently in sight; they waver in judgment.

²⁰ Gather and come; draw near together, you escapees of the goyim: they who bear the timber of their sculptile, know not, and pray to an el who saves not.

¹⁰ His watchers are blind; they know not: they are all mute dogs; they cannot bark: dreaming, lying down, loving to slumber. ¹¹ Yes, they are dogs, strong of soul, who know not satisfaction; and they are tenders who know not to discern: they all face their own way, every man for his gain, from his end. ¹² You, come; I take wine, and we carouse with intoxicants; and tomorrow is as this day - a mighty great remainder.

⁸ The priests say not, Where is Yah Veh? and they who manipulate the torah know me not and the tenders rebel against me; and the prophets prophesy by Baal and walk after those who benefit not.

³ O Yah Veh, are not your eyes on trustworthiness? you smite them, and they writhe not; you finish them off, and they refuse to take correction: they toughen their faces as a rock; they refuse to return. ⁴ And I - I say, Surely these are poor; they folly: for they know neither the way of Yah Veh nor the judgment of their Elohim.

²¹ Hear this, I beseech, O foolish people, and without heart; having eyes, and seeing not; having ears, and hearing not:

⁷ Yes, the stork in the heavens knows her seasons; and the turtledove and the swallow and the thrush regard the time of their coming; and my people know not the judgment of Yah Veh. ⁸ How say you, We are wise and the torah of Yah Veh is with us? Behold, surely it works falsehood; the false stylus of the scribes works falsehood. ⁹ The wise shame: they are dismayed and captured: behold, they spurn the word of Yah Veh; and what wisdom is in them?

¹³ and I visit on her the days of Baalim, wherein she incenses to them; and adorns herself with her noserings and her ornaments, and goes after her lovers, and forgets me - an oracle of Yah Veh.

THE CONTROVERSY OF YAH VEH
Hear the word of Yah Veh, you sons of Yisra El: because of a controversy of Yah Veh with the settlers of the land; because there is neither truth nor mercy nor knowledge of Elohim in the land:

¹² my people ask at their trees, and their staff tells them: for the spirit of whoredoms strays them and they whore from under their Elohim:

⁶ For I desire mercy and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of Elohim more than holocausts.

¹ A shophar to your palate - as an eagle against the house of Yah Veh: because they trespass my covenant and rebel against my torah.

¹² I inscribe to him the myriads of greatnesses of my torah, they fabricate them as strange:

¹⁴ And Yisra El forgets his Worker and builds manses and Yah Hudah abounds fortified cities: and I send a fire on his cities and it consumes the citadels.

⁶ According to their pasture, they satiate; - satiate, and exalt their heart; so they forget me.

⁸ And in one month, I chop off three tenders; and my soul loathes them, and their soul also loathes me. ⁹ Then I say, I tend you not: what dies, dies; and what is cut off, is cut off; and of them who survive, each woman eats the flesh of sister.

¹⁵ And Yah Veh says to me, Take to yourself again the instruments of a foolish tender: ¹⁶ for, behold, I raise a tender in the land, who neither visits the cut off, nor seeks the lad, nor heals the broken, nor sustains the stationed: and he eats the flesh of the fat and craunches their hoofs. ¹⁷ Ho to the idol tender who forsakes the flock! the sword is on his arm and on his right eye: his arm withers, and in dimming, his right eye dims.

A MISVAH FOR THE PRIESTS
And now, to you O priests, this misvah. ² If you hear not and if you set not to heart to give honor to my name, says Yah Veh Sabaoth, I send a curse on you and I curse your blessings: yes, I also curse, because you set it not to heart. ³ Behold, I rebuke your seed and winnow dung on your faces - the dung of your celebrations; to bear you away with it.

⁷ For the lips of the priest guard knowledge and they seek the torah at his mouth: for he is the angel of Yah Veh Sabaoth. ⁸ And you turn aside from the way; you falter many at the torah; you ruin the covenant of Levi; says Yah Veh Sabaoth. ⁹ So I also give you despised and lowly in front of all the people because according to your mouth you guard not my ways, and lift faces against the torah.

FOURTEEN GENERATIONS: TO THE BABEL EXILE and David the sovereign births Shelomoh of the woman of Uri Yah,

³ And he answers them, saying, Why transgress you also the misvah of Elohim for your tradition? ⁴ For Elohim misvahed, wording, Honor your father and mother: and, Whoever vilifies father or mother, deathify him to death. ⁵ But you word, Whoever says to his father or his mother, An oblation - by whatever you benefit by me; ⁶ and in no way honors his father or his mother. - thus you invalidate the misvah of Elohim for your tradition. ^{Exodus 20:12, 21:17}

⁸ This people approaches me with their mouth and honors me with their lips; but their heart is far from me:

¹⁴ Allow them: they are blind guides of the blind: and whenever the blind guide the blind both fall into the cistern.

⁴¹ They word to him, He evilly destroys those evil men, and leases his vineyard to other cultivators who give him the fruits in their seasons. ⁴² Yah Shua words to them, Read you never ever in the scriptures, The stone the builders disapprove, the same becomes the head of the corner: this becomes of Yah Vah and it is marvellous in our eyes? ^{Psalm 118:22, 23 43} So I word to you, The sovereigndom of Elohim is taken from you and given to a goyim producing the fruits thereof. ⁴⁴ And whoever falls on this stone crushes: but on whomever it falls, pulverizes. ^{Isaiah 8:14 45} And the archpriests and Pharisees hear his parables, and they know he words concerning them:

¹⁶ Woe to You, you blind guides, who word, Whoever oaths in the nave, it is naught; but whoever oaths in the gold of the nave, is a debtor. ¹⁷ You fools and blind: for which is greater, The gold? Or the nave that hallows the gold? ¹⁸ And, Whoever oaths in the sacrifice altar, it is naught; but whoever oaths in the oblation thereon, is a debtor. ¹⁹ You fools and blind: for which is greater, The oblation? Or the sacrifice altar that hallows the oblation? ²⁰ So whoever oaths in the sacrifice altar, oaths in it, and in all thereon: ²¹ and whoever oaths in the nave, oaths in it, and in him who settles therein: ²² and whoever oaths in the heavens, oaths in the throne of Elohim, and in him who sits thereon. ²³ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees! Hypocrites! For you pay tithes of mint and anise and kammon, and forsake the weightier matters of the torah - the judgment and the mercy and the trust: these you need to do and not forsake those undone. ²⁴ You blind guides who strain at a gnat and swallow a camel. ²⁵ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees! Hypocrites! For outwardly you purify the cup and the platter; but inwardly they are full of plunder and unrestraint. ²⁶ Blind Pharisee! First purify the inward cup and platter, so that it also becomes purified outwardly.

⁸ - and they take him and slaughter him and cast him from the vineyard. ⁹ So what does the adoni of the vineyard? He comes and destroys the cultivators and gives the vineyard to others.

³ And also, if our evangelism is veiled, it is veiled among the lost: ⁴ in whom the elohim of this eon blinds the comprehensions of the trustless, lest the light of the evangelism of the glory of the Messiah - being the icon of Elohim radiate to them. ⁵ For we preach not ourselves but Messiah Yah Shua Adonay; and ourselves your servants for sake of Yah Shua. ⁶ For Elohim, who said, Light, radiate from darkness! radiates in our hearts for the radiancy of the knowledge of the glory of Elohim in the face of Yah Shua Messiah.

³⁰ So - an oracle of Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El In saying, I say, that your house and the house of your father walk at my face eternally: and now - an oracle of Yah Veh far be it from me; for they who honor me, I honor; and they who despise me, I abase.

⁷ since the days of our fathers we are in a great guilt - unto this day: and for our perversities, our sovereigns and our priests, are given into the hand of the sovereigns of the lands - to the sword, to captivity, and to a plunder, and to shamed face, as this day.

²⁶ As the thief shames when he is found out, thus the house of Yisra El shames - they, their sovereigns, their governors, and their priests, and their prophets: ²⁷ saying to a tree, You are my father; and to a stone, You birthed me: for they face the nape of their neck to me and not their face: and in the time of their evil they say, Rise! and, Save us!

¹⁰ For they eat, and satisfy not: they whore, and not break forth: because they forsake to guard to Yah Veh.

¹ Yisra El is an evacuated vine, he equates fruit to himself: as the abundance of his fruit he abounds the sacrifice altars; as the goodness of his land they make goodly monoliths:

¹⁴ I ransom them from the hand of sheol; I redeem them from death: O death, where are your pestilences; O sheol, where is your ruin: sighing is hid from my eyes. ^{I Corinthians 15:55}

¹⁶ You satiate - abasement for honor: and you drink and be uncircumcised: the cup of the right of Yah Veh turns to you, and an abasement is on your honor.

⁹ So I also give you despised and lowly in front of all the people because according to your mouth you guard not my ways, and lift faces against the torah.

¹⁹ whose completion/shalom is destruction, whose elohim is their belly, whose glory is in their shame, who think earthly.

²⁶ The priest of that for the sin eats - eats it in the holies in the court of the tent of the congregation:

⁶ every male among the priests eats thereof - eats in the holies - a holy of holies: ⁷ as that for the sin, thus that for the guilt - one torah for them: it is for the priest who kapars/atones therewith.

²⁹ Why trample you at my sacrifice and at my offering which I misvah in my habitation? - and honor your sons above me to cut the firstlings of all the offerings of Yisra El my people?

⁴ He who has innocent palms and a pure heart; - who neither lifts his soul to vanity nor oaths deceitfully:

¹ By David. To you, O Yah Veh, I lift my soul;

¹¹ Yes, they are dogs, strong of soul, who know not satisfaction; and they are tenders who know not to discern: they all face their own way, every man for his gain, from his end.

³ Son of humanity, these men ascend their idols in their heart, and give the stumblingblock of their perversity at their face: Inquire they at all of me?

⁷ for each man of the house of Yisra El or of the sojourner who sojourns in Yisra El, who separates himself from after me, and ascends his idols in his heart, and sets the stumblingblock of his perversity at his face, and goes to a prophet to inquire of him concerning me; I Yah Veh answer him by myself:

¹¹ The heads judge for a bribe and the priests teach for a price, and the prophets divine for silver: yet they lean on Yah Veh, saying, Is not Yah Veh among us? Evil approaches us not!

¹⁰ Who, even among you, shuts the doors? Yes, you light my sacrifice altar gratuitously; I neither delight in you, says Yah Veh Sabaoth, nor an offering at your hand pleases me.

¹⁸ For they who are such serve not our Adonay Yah Shua Messiah, but their own belly; and through kind words and eulogy seduce the hearts of the simple.

¹¹ whose mouths must be stopped; who overturn whole houses doctrinating what they must not for shameful gain.

³ and in avarice they fabricate words and merchandise of you: whose judgment of old idles not and their destruction slumbers not.

¹⁷ As he loves to abase, thus it approaches him; as he delights not in blessing, so be it far from him: ¹⁸ he enrobes abasing as tailoring, thus it enters his inwards as water - as ointment into his bones:

²² His own perversities capture the wicked - upheld by the cords of his own sins:

¹⁰ You, say to the just, It is for good: for they eat the fruit of their exploitations.

¹⁴ and Yah Veh cuts off from Yisra El head and tail, palm leaf and rush, in one day. ¹⁵ The elder and lifted face, he is the head; and the prophet teaching falsehood, he is the tail. ¹⁶ For this people who blithe them cause them to stray; and the blithed are swallowed.

² And so be it, as with the people, thus with the priest; as with the servant, thus with his adoni; as with the maid, thus with her lady; as with the chatteler, thus with the seller; as with the lender, thus with the borrower; as with the exactor, thus with the exacted.

³¹ the prophets prophesy falsely and the priests subjugate by their hands; and thus my people love it. And what work you in the end?

¹¹ For both prophet and priest profane; yes, in my house I found their evil - an oracle of Yah Veh. ¹² So their way is to them as slippery in the darkness: they are overthrown and fall therein: for I bring evil on them - the year of their visitation - an oracle of Yah Veh.

²⁶ her priests violate my torah and profane my holies: they neither separate between the holy and profane nor make known between the foul and the pure; and conceal their eyes from my shabbaths, and I am profaned among them. ²⁷ Her governors midst her are as wolves tearing the prey, to pour blood; to destroy souls; to greedily gain greedy gain: ²⁸ and her prophets daub them with slime - seers of vanity, divining lies to them, saying, Thus says Adonay Yah Veh: when Yah Veh words not. ²⁹ The people of the land in oppressing, oppress; and in stripping, strip; and vex the humble and needy: yes, they oppress the sojourner without judgment. ³⁰ And I seek for a man among them, to wall up the wall, and stand in the breach at my face for the land to not ruin it: and I find no one: ³¹ and I pour my rage on them; I finished them off with the fire of my wrath: I give their own way on their heads - an oracle of Adonay Yah Veh.

⁴ And Yah Veh says to him, Call his name Yizre El/El Seeds; for yet a little, and I visit the blood of Yizre El on the house of Yah Hu, and shabbathize the sovereigndom of the house of Yisra El.

¹³ they sacrifice flesh for the sacrifices of my holocausts, and eat; Yah Veh is not pleased with them; now he remembers their perversity and visits their sins: they return to Misrayim.

⁹ They deepen; they ruin as in the days of Gibah: he remembers their perversity; he visits their sins.

⁶ Only, my words and my statutes which I misvahed to my servants the prophets, overtook they not your fathers? And they return and say, As Yah Veh Sabaoth intrigues to work to us, according to our ways and our exploits, works he thus with us.

²⁶ and in breaking the rod of your bread, ten women bake your bread in one oven and they restore your bread by weight: and you eat and satiate not.

¹⁷ And after the death of Yah Yada the governors of Yah Hudah come and prostrate to the sovereign: then the sovereign hearkens to them:

³ The words of his mouth are mischief and deceit; he ceases comprehending, and to well-please:

⁵ as for such as pervert to their crookednesses, Yah Veh walks them with the doers of mischief. Shalom on Yisra El.

²⁵ The just eats to satisfy his soul; and the belly of the wicked lacks.

¹³ So thus says Adonay Yah Veh, Behold, my servants eat, and you famish: behold, my servants drink, and you thirst: behold, my servants cheer, and you shame: ¹⁴ behold, my servants shout for goodness of heart, and you cry for pain of heart and howl for breaking of spirit: ¹⁵ and you leave your name for an oath to my chosen: for Adonay Yah Veh deathifies you and calls his servants by another name: ¹⁶ that he who blesses himself in the earth blesses himself in the Elohim of amen; and he who oaths in the earth oaths by the Elohim of amen; because the former tribulations are forgotten and because they are hid from my eyes.

¹⁵ And today you turn and work straight in my eyes in calling out liberty - every man to his friend; and you cut a covenant at my face in the house on which my name is called:

²⁴ But when the just turns from his justness, and works wickedness, and works according to all the abhorrences the wicked work, lives he? All the justness he worked are not remembered: in his treason, he treasoned, and in the sin he sinned, he dies.

¹⁴ I neither visit on your daughters when they whore; nor your brides when they adulterize: for they separate with whores and they sacrifice with hallowed whores: a people who discerns not, falls.

¹¹ Ephrayim is as a fowl their honor flies from the birth and from the belly and from the conception. ¹² Though they nourish their sons, yet I bereave them - without a human: yes also, woe to them when I turn aside from them! ¹³ Ephrayim, as I saw Sor, is transplanted in a habitation of rest: and Ephrayim brings his sons to the slaughterer. ¹⁴ Give them, O Yah Veh! What give you? Give them an aborting womb and dry breasts. ¹⁵ All their evil is in Gilgal; surely, there I hated them: for the evil of their exploits I drive them from my house; I add not to love them: all their governors are revolters. ¹⁶ Ephrayim is smitten: their root withers; they work no fruit: yes, though they birth, yet I slay the desire of their belly. ¹⁷ My Elohim spurns them, because they hearken not to him: and they become wanderers among the goyim.

¹⁴ You eat, and satiate not; and hunger is among you; and you remove, but escape not; and whatever escapes, I give to the sword.

⁶ and they who apostatize from Yah Veh - who neither seek Yah Veh nor enquire of him.

⁶ You seed aboundingly, and bring in little; you eat, and you satiate not; you drink, and you intoxicate not; you enrobe, and no one heats up; and he who hires himself out hires to put it into a pierced bundle.

²⁰ For if, having escaped the defilements of the cosmos through the knowledge of Adonay and Saviour Yah Shua Messiah, and entangled again by these and belittled, their finality becomes worse than at first. ²¹ For it had been better for them to not have known the way of justness, than having known, to turn from the holy misvah delivered to them. ²² But it happens to them according to the true proverb, The dog returns to his own vomit; and the hog that bathed to her wallowing in the mire. ^{Proverbs 26:11}

³² He who adulterizes with a woman, lacks heart; he who thus works ruins his own soul:

¹ Wine scorns; intoxicants roar; and whoever errs inadvertently enwisens not.

²⁷ For a whore is a deep chasm; and a stranger is a narrow well. ²⁸ She also lurks as a robber and increases them who deal covertly among humanity. ²⁹ Who has woe? Who has will? Who has contentions? Who has meditation? Who has wounds gratuitously? As to their names: Shomeron is Oholah and Yeru Shalem Oholi Bah. ⁵ And Oholah whores under me; and she pants after her lovers - on the neighboring Ashshuri ⁶ - governors and prefects enrobed with blue - all youths of desire - cavalry riding on horses. ⁷ Thus she gives her whoredoms with them - with all the chosen sons of Ashshur and with all whom she pants after: she fouls herself with all their idols: ⁸ she forsakes not her whoredoms from Misrayim: for in her youth they lie with her and work the nipples of her virginity and pour their whoredom on her.

⁸ You, blast the shophar in Gibah and the trumpet in Ramah: shout at the house of mischief, After you, O Ben Yamin!

¹⁵ All their evil is in Gilgal; surely, there I hated them: for the evil of their exploits I drive them from my house; I add not to love them: all their governors are revolters.

⁵ the fellow tabernaclers of Shomeron sojourn because of the heifers of Beth Aven: for the people mourn over it; and the ascetics twirl on it: for the honor is exiled from it:

⁸ And the bamahs of Aven, the sin of Yisra El, desolates: the thorn and the thistle ascend on their sacrifice altars; and they say to the mountains, Cover us! and to the hills, Fall on us!

¹² Ephrayim surrounds me with deceptions and the house of Yisra El with deceit: and Yah Hudah rambles on with El and is trustworthy with the holy.

¹¹ Is there mischief in Gilad? surely they are vanity: they sacrifice oxen in Gilgal; yes, their sacrifice altars are as heaps in the furrows of the fields.

⁴ Come to Beth El, and rebel; abound rebellion at Gilgal: and bring your sacrifices at morning, and your tithes after three years of days:

⁵ neither seek Beth El nor enter Gilgal nor pass through Beer Sheba: for in exiling, Gilgal is exiled, and Beth El becomes for mischief.

¹⁴ they who oath by the guilt of Shomeron, and say, Your elohim, O Dan, lives! and, The way of Beer Sheba lives! - even they fall and never rise again.

⁵ and they who prostrate to the host of the heavens on the roofs; and they who prostrate and oath by Yah Veh, and oath by Malcham; ⁶ and they who apostatize from Yah Veh - who neither seek Yah Veh nor enquire of him.

⁴⁷ And that servant, who knows the will of his adoni, who neither prepares nor does according to his will is flogged often. ⁴⁸ But whoever knows not whose doings are worthy of plagues is flogged little. For to whomever much is given, of him much is sought: and to whom men set forth much, of him they ask superabundantly.

¹¹ And co-partake not with the unfruitful works of darkness - but rather reprove them.

³³ and I scatter you among the goyim and draw a sword after you: and desolate your land and parch your cities.

¹¹ I sigh that I have Shaul to reign sovereign: for he turns back from after me and raises not my words. - and it inflames Shemu El and he cries to Yah Veh all night.

¹⁷ And the lambs graze after their word; and sojourners eat the parched areas of the fatlings.

²¹ And so be it, in that day, that a man keeps alive a young heifer of the herd, and two flock; ²² and so be it, for the abundance of milk that they work he eats butter: for every one who remains in the land eats butter and honey. ²³ And so be it, in that day, so be it, that every place where there are a thousand vines worth a thousand silverlings, it becomes for briers and thorns: ²⁴ he comes there with arrows and with bows; because all the land becomes briers and thorns: ²⁵ and on all hills hoed with the hoe, there comes not the fear of briers and thorns: but it becomes for the sending forth of oxen, and for the trampling of lambs.

¹⁸ in whirling, he whirls - whirls you as a whirler into a land large of hand: there you die, and there the chariots of your honor are the abasement of the house of adoni:

⁸ and I see, when for all the causes whereby apostate Yisra El adulterized I sent her away and gave her a scroll of divorce; yet her sister Yah Hudah who deals covertly awes not, and goes and whores also.

¹¹ And Yah Veh says to me, The apostate Yisra El justifies her soul more than Yah Hudah who deals covertly.

⁶ So a lion from the forest smites them; a wolf from the plains ravages them; a leopard watches over their cities; every one who comes out thence is torn - because their rebellions abound by the myriads and their apostasies are mighty.

²⁴ And they neither hearken nor spread their ear; but walk in the counsels and in the warp of their evil heart; and go backward; and not toward the face.

⁵ Why then turns this people of Yeru Shalem away by a perpetual apostasy? They uphold deceit; they refuse to return.

⁷ O Yah Veh, though our perversities answer against us, work this for sake of your name: for our apostasies abound by the myriads; we sin against you.

⁷ And my people are prone to apostasy: though they call Elyon to themselves, no one at all exalts him.

¹¹ And they refuse to hearken; and give a revolting shoulder and heavy their ears that they hear not.

¹² and I send them in the warp of their own heart; and they walk in their own counsels.

⁴ yet neither strive with man nor reprove man: for your people are as they who strive with the priest.

¹ Ephrayim grazes on wind and pursues the easterly; every day he abounds lies and ravages: and they cut a covenant with the Ashshuri and bear oil to Misrayim.

² And now they add to sin and work themselves moltens of their silver - idols according to their own discerning all the work of the engravers: of humanity who sacrifices, they say, Kiss the calves.

¹¹ he who injures, still injures: and he who fouls, still fouls: and he who is just, is still justified: and he who is holy, is still hallowed.

⁸ And take no bribe: for the bribe blinds the open-eyed and perverts the words of the just.

¹⁹ Neither deviate judgment nor recognize faces nor take a bribe: for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and perverts the words of the just.

³² For their vine is of the vine of Sedom and of the fields of Amorah: their grapes, grapes of rosh with bitter clusters: ³³ their wine is the poison of monsters and the cruel rosh of asps.

³ and his sons walk not in his ways, but spread after greed and take bribes and pervert judgment.

³ Behold, here am I: answer against me in front of Yah Veh and in front of his anointed: Whose ox took I? Whose he burro took I? Whom extorted I? Whom crushed I? Of whose hand took I a koper/an atonement to veil my eyes therewith? - and I restore it to you. ⁴ And they say, You neither extorted us nor crushed us nor taken aught from the hand of any man.

⁷ And so be it, the sons of Yisra El sin against Yah Veh their Elohim - who ascended them from the land of Misrayim from under the hand of Paroh sovereign of Misrayim - and they awe other elohim ⁸ which they work: and walk in the statutes of the goyim whom Yah Veh dispossessed from the face of the sons of Yisra El and from the sovereigns of Yisra El: ⁹ and the sons of Yisra El covertly work words that are not right against Yah Veh their Elohim: and they build bamahs in all their cities from the tower of the guards to the fortified city: ¹⁰ and they station monoliths and asherim in every high hill and under every green tree: ¹¹ and incense there in all the bamahs as the goyim whom Yah Veh exiled from their face; and work evil words to vex Yah Veh: ¹² and serve idols, whereof Yah Veh said to them, Work not this word! ¹³ And Yah Veh witnesses against Yisra El and against Yah Hudah, by the hand of all the prophets and by all the seers, saying, Turn from your evil ways and guard my misvoth and my statutes, according to all the torah I misvahed your fathers - which I send to you by the hand of my servants the prophets. ¹⁴ And they hearken not, and harden their necks, as the neck of their fathers, who trusted not in Yah Veh their Elohim: ¹⁵ and they refuse his statutes and his covenant which he cut with their fathers and his witnesses which he witnessed against them; and they go after vanity and become vain and go after the goyim all around them - to whom Yah Veh misvahed to not work like them: ¹⁶ and they leave all the misvoth of Yah Veh their Elohim; and work moltens - two calves and work an asherah and prostrate to all the host of the heavens and serve Baal: ¹⁷ and they pass their sons and their daughters through the fire; and divine divination and prognostications and sell themselves to work evil in the eyes of Yah Veh - to vex him.

⁹ The volunteers of the people gather - the people of the Elohim of Abraham; for to Elohim be the bucklers of the earth; - mightily ascended.

¹⁵ The horseleach has two daughters, Give! Give! These three are never satisfied; yes, four say not, Enough! ¹⁶ - sheol; the restrained womb; the earth not satiated with water; and the fire that says not, Enough!

²¹ How the trustworthy city becomes a whore! Filled with judgment! Justness stayed overnight therein - now murderers: ²² your silver becomes dross, your potion dilutes with water:

²¹ Yet I planted you, choice, wholly a seed of truth: how then turn you on me - into the twisted plant of a strange vine?

² oathing and lying and murder and stealing and adulterizing separate; and blood touches blood.

¹² For I know your great rebellions and your mighty sins: they tribulate the just; they take a koper/atonement; and they pervert the needy in the portal.

³ to do evil with both palms well-pleasingly, the governor and the judge ask for satisfaction; and the great words of the mischief of his soul: thus they pervert.

¹⁷ They apostatize backward shamingly they shame - who confide in sculptiles, - who say to the moltens, You are our elohim.

³⁶ Why gad you about so mightily to change your way? Even of Misrayim, you shame as you shamed of Ashshur. ³⁷ Yes, you go forth from him, with your hands on your head: for Yah Veh spurns your confidences, and you prosper not therein.

²⁴ For shame devours the labor of our fathers from our youth - their flocks and their herds their sons and their daughters: ²⁵ we lie down in our shame, and our confusion covers us: for we sin against Yah Veh our Elohim - we and our fathers from our youth even to this day, and hearken not to the voice of Yah Veh our Elohim.

¹¹ At that time it is said to this people and to Yeru Shalem, A clear wind of the barrens in the wilderness toward the daughter of my people - neither to winnow nor to purify: ¹² a full wind comes to me: now also, I word judgment against them.

¹³ O Yah Veh, the expectation of Yisra El, all who forsake you, shame; and they who turn aside from me are inscribed in the earth, because they forsook Yah Veh the fountain of living waters.

THE JUDGMENT OF BABEL
Thus says Yah Veh; Behold, I waken a ruinous wind/spirit against Babel and against them who settle in the heart of them - who rouse:

⁶ also it is borne to Ashshur as an offering to sovereign Yareb to plead: Ephrayim shames and Yisra El shames of his own counsel.

¹⁵ Though he bears fruit among his brothers, an east wind comes; the wind/Spirit of Yah Veh ascends from the wilderness; and his fountain shames; and his fountain parches: he spoils the treasure of all pleasant instruments.

⁹ And I lift my eyes and see, and behold, two women come with the wind in their wings; - wings as the wings of a stork: and they lift the ephah between the earth and between the heavens. ¹⁰ Then I say to the angel wording with me, Where carry they the ephah? ¹¹ And he says to me, To build a house in the land of Shinar: and to establish and set there on her own.
