SANCHERIB APPREHENDS YAH HUDAH
And so be it, in the fourteenth year of sovereign Yechizqi Yah, Sancherib sovereign of Ashshur ascends against all the fortified cities of Yah Hudah and apprehends them: 2 and the sovereign of Ashshur sends Rab Shaqeh from Lachish to Yeru Shalem to king Yechizqi Yah - heavy with valiant: and he stands by the channel of the most high pool in the highway of the field of the fuller. 3 Then El Yaqim the son of Hilqi Yah who is over the house comes to him, with Shebna the scribe, and Yah Ach the son of Asaph the memorializer. 4 And Rab Shaqeh says to them, You, say, I beseech, to Yechizqi Yah, Thus says the great sovereign - the sovereign of Ashshur, What is this confidence wherein you confide? 5 I say, surely, words of lips! Counsel and might are for war! Now on whom confide you, to rebel against me? 6 Behold, you confide in the crutch of this crushed stalk - on Misrayim; whereon, if a man props, it goes into his palm, and pierces: thus is Paroh sovereign of Misrayim to all who confide in him. 7 And if you say to me, We confide in Yah Veh our Elohim! - is it not he, whose bamahs and whose sacrifice altars Yechizqi Yah turned aside, and said to Yah Hudah and to Yeru Shalem, Prostrate you at the face of this sacrifice altar? 8 And now pledge, I beseech you, to my adoni the sovereign of Ashshur, and I give you two thousand horses, if you are able on your part to give riders on them. 9 And how turn you away the face of one governor of the lesser of the servants of my adoni, and confide on Misrayim for chariots and for cavalry? 10 And now ascend I without Yah Veh against this land to ruin it? Yah Veh said to me, Ascend against this land, and ruin it. 11 And El Yaqim and Shebna and Yah Ach say to Rab Shaqeh, Word, I beseech you, to your servants in Aramaic; for we hear: and word not to us in Yah Hudaic, in the ears of the people on the wall. 12 And Rab Shaqeh says, Has my adoni sent me to your adoni to word these words to you? Is it not to the men who sit on the wall to eat their own excrements and drink the urine at their feet with you? 13 And Rab Shaqeh stands and calls out with a great voice in Yah Hudaic, and says, You, hear the words of the great sovereign the sovereign of Ashshur! 14 Thus says the sovereign, Neither let Yechizqi Yah deceive you: for he is not able to rescue you: 15 nor let Yechizqi Yah have you confide in Yah Veh, saying, In rescuing, Yah Veh rescues us. This city is not given into the hand of the sovereign of Ashshur. 16 Hearken not to Yechizqi Yah: for thus says the sovereign of Ashshur, Work a blessing with me and come out to me and every man eat of his vine and every man of his fig tree; and every man drink the waters of his own well; 17 - until I come and take you away to a land like your own land - a land of crop and juice, a land of bread and vineyards; 18 lest Yechizqi Yah goads you, saying, Yah Veh rescues us. Has any man of the elohim of the goyim rescued his land from the hand of the sovereign of Ashshur? 19 Where are the elohim of Hamath and Arphad? Where are the elohim of Sepharvayim? Rescued they Shomeron from my hand? 20 Who are they, among all the elohim of these lands, who rescued their land from my hand, that Yah Veh rescue Yeru Shalem from my hand? 21 And they hush and answer him not a word: for the misvah of the sovereign is, saying, Answer him not. 22 And El Yaqim the son of Hilqi Yah who is over the household, comes with Shebna the scribe, and Yah Ach the son of Asaph, the memorializer, to Yechizqi Yah with their clothes ripped, and tell him the words of Rab Shaqeh.

YISRA EL EXILED

2 Kings 17:7-7

7 And so be it, the sons of Yisra El sin against Yah Veh their Elohim - who ascended them from the land of Misrayim from under the hand of Paroh sovereign of Misrayim - and they awe other elohim 8 which they work: and walk in the statutes of the goyim whom Yah Veh dispossessed from the face of the sons of Yisra El and from the sovereigns of Yisra El: 9 and the sons of Yisra El covertly work words that are not right against Yah Veh their Elohim: and they build bamahs in all their cities from the tower of the guards to the fortified city: 10 and they station monoliths and asherim in every high hill and under every green tree: 11 and incense there in all the bamahs as the goyim whom Yah Veh exiled from their face; and work evil words to vex Yah Veh: 12 and serve idols, whereof Yah Veh said to them, Work not this word! 13 And Yah Veh witnesses against Yisra El and against Yah Hudah, by the hand of all the prophets and by all the seers, saying, Turn from your evil ways and guard my misvoth and my statutes, according to all the torah I misvahed your fathers - which I send to you by the hand of my servants the prophets. 14 And they hearken not, and harden their necks, as the neck of their fathers, who trusted not in Yah Veh their Elohim: 15 and they refuse his statutes and his covenant which he cut with their fathers and his witnesses which he witnessed against them; and they go after vanity and become vain and go after the goyim all around them - to whom Yah Veh misvahed to not work like them: 16 and they leave all the misvoth of Yah Veh their Elohim; and work moltens - two calves and work an asherah and prostrate to all the host of the heavens and serve Baal: 17 and they pass their sons and their daughters through the fire; and divine divination and prognostications and sell themselves to work evil in the eyes of Yah Veh - to vex him. 18 So Yah Veh angers mightily at Yisra El and turns them aside from his face: none survive except only, the scion of Yah Hudah: 19 Yah Hudah also guards not the misvoth of Yah Veh their Elohim but walks in the statutes Yisra El works. 20 And Yah Veh refuses all the seed of Yisra El and humbles them; and gives them into the hand of plunderers until he casts them from his face: 21 for he rips Yisra El from the house of David; and they have Yarob Am the son of Nebat reign: and Yarob Am banishes Yisra El from going after Yah Veh and has them sin a great sin: 22 and the sons of Yisra El walk in all the sins Yarob Am works: they turn not aside from them; 23 until Yah Veh turns Yisra El aside from his face, as he worded by the hand of all his servants the prophets: thus Yisra El is exiled from their own soil to Ashshur to this day. 24

Against the Holy of Yisra El! 23 By the hand of your angels you reproach Adonay and say, With the abundance of my chariots I ascend to the height of the mountains - to the flanks of Lebanon and cut down the height of cedar trees thereof and the choice cypress trees thereof: and I enter the lodgings of his edges and the forest of his Karmel/orchard. 24 I dig and drink strange waters; and with the sole of my steps I parch all the rivers of seige/Masor. 25 Hear you not from afar, I worked it? And of ancient days, I formed it? And now I bring it to become waste - cut off cities into desolate heaps: 26 and their settlers are short of hand terrified and shamed - as the herb of the field - as the green sprouts - as the leeks on the roofs blasted at the face of her stalks. 27 And I know your settlement and your going and your coming and your quaking against me: 28 because your quaking against me and your uproar ascends into my ears, I set my hook in your nostrils and my bit in your lips and I turn you back the way you came. 29 And this is your sign: this year, eat of the spontaneous growth; and in the second year, of the spontaneous sprout; and in the third year, seed and harvest and plant vineyards and eat the fruits thereof: 30 and the escapees of the house of Yah Hudah who survive take root downward and work fruit upward: 31 for survivors go from Yeru Shalem and escapees from mount Siyon: the zeal of Yah Veh Sabaoth works this. 32 So thus says Yah Veh concerning the sovereign of Ashshur: He neither comes into this city nor shoots an arrow there nor precedes it with buckler nor pours a mound against it: 33 by the way he comes, by the same he returns; and comes not into this city - an oracle of Yah Veh: 34 and I garrison this city to save it for my own sake and for sake of my servant David. 35 And so be it, that night, the angel of Yah Veh goes out and smites in the camp of the Ashshuri - a hundred eighty-five thousand: and they start early in the morning, and behold, they are all dead carcases. 36 And Sancherib, sovereign of Ashshur pulls stakes and goes and returns and settles at Nineveh: 37 and so be it, he prostrates in the house of Nisroch his elohim. and his sons Adram Melech and Shareser smite him with the sword: and they escape into the land of Ararat: and Esar Chaddon his son reigns in his stead.

7 And at that time, Hanani the seer comes to Asa sovereign of Yah Hudah and says to him, Because you lean on the sovereign of Aram and lean not on Yah Veh your Elohim, so the valiant of the sovereign of Aram escapes from your hand. 8 Were not the Kushiy and the Lubiy an abundance of valiant, with a mighty abundance of chariots and cavalry? Yet, because you leaned on Yah Veh he gave them into your hand. 9 As for Yah Veh, - his eyes flit throughout the whole earth, strengthened in behalf of them whose heart is at shalom toward him. The burden of the animals of the south: Into the land of tribulation and distress from whence the roaring lion and the old lion, the hisser and flying seraph - who bear their valuables on the shoulders of colts and their treasures on the humps of camels to a people who benefit them not. 7 Yes, the Misrayim are vanity and help in vain: so concerning this, I call out, Their pride is to shabbathize!

Isaiah 30:7

7 Yes, the Misrayim are vanity and help in vain: so concerning this, I call out, Their pride is to shabbathize!

Isaiah 30:16-17

16 But you say, No; for we flee upon horses! - so you, flee: and, We ride upon the swift! - so your pursuers are swift. 17 One thousand at the face of the rebuke of one; at the face of the rebuke of five you flee: until you remain as a mast on the top of a mountain and as an ensign on a hill.

Isaiah 31:3

3 And the Misrayim are human, and not El; and their horses flesh, and not spirit. When Yah Veh spreads his hand the helper falters and the helped falls and they all finish together.

Isaiah 33:7-8

7 Behold, their heros cry outwardly; the angels of shalom weep bitterly;

Isaiah 33:7

7 Behold, their heros cry outwardly; the angels of shalom weep bitterly; 8 the highways lie desolate; the passers of the way shabbathize: he breaks the covenant; he spurns the cities; he fabricates no man.

Isaiah 36:3

3 Then El Yaqim the son of Hilqi Yah who is over the house comes to him, with Shebna the scribe, and Yah Ach the son of Asaph the memorializer. 4 And Rab Shaqeh says to them, You, say, I beseech, to Yechizqi Yah, Thus says the great sovereign - the sovereign of Ashshur, What is this confidence wherein you confide?

Isaiah 36:6

6 Behold, you confide in the crutch of this crushed stalk - on Misrayim; whereon, if a man props, it goes into his palm, and pierces: thus is Paroh sovereign of Misrayim to all who confide in him. 7 And if you say to me, We confide in Yah Veh our Elohim! - is it not he, whose bamahs and whose sacrifice altars Yechizqi Yah turned aside, and said to Yah Hudah and to Yeru Shalem, Prostrate you at the face of this sacrifice altar?

Isaiah 36:10

10 And now ascend I without Yah Veh against this land to ruin it? Yah Veh said to me, Ascend against this land, and ruin it. 11 And El Yaqim and Shebna and Yah Ach say to Rab Shaqeh, Word, I beseech you, to your servants in Aramaic; for we hear: and word not to us in Yah Hudaic, in the ears of the people on the wall.

Isaiah 36:15

15 nor let Yechizqi Yah have you confide in Yah Veh, saying, In rescuing, Yah Veh rescues us. This city is not given into the hand of the sovereign of Ashshur.

Isaiah 37:1-2

1 And so be it, when sovereign Yechizqi Yah hears, he rips his clothes and covers himself with saq, and goes into the house of Yah Veh. 2 And he sends El Yaqim who is over the household, and Shebna the scribe and the elders of the priests covered with saq, to Yesha Yah the prophet the son of Amos:

Isaiah 37:10-13

10 You, say thus to Yechizqi Yah sovereign of Yah Hudah, saying, Let not your Elohim, in whom you confide, deceive you, saying, Yeru Shalem is not given into the hand of the sovereign of Ashshur.

Isaiah 37:10

10 You, say thus to Yechizqi Yah sovereign of Yah Hudah, saying, Let not your Elohim, in whom you confide, deceive you, saying, Yeru Shalem is not given into the hand of the sovereign of Ashshur. 11 Behold, you heard what the sovereigns of Ashshur worked to all lands by devoting them - and rescue you?

Isaiah 37:11-13

11 Behold, you heard what the sovereigns of Ashshur worked to all lands by devoting them - and rescue you? 12 The elohim of the goyim whom my fathers ruined - Gozan and Haran and Reseph and the sons of Eden which were in Telassar - rescued they them?

Isaiah 37:12-13

12 The elohim of the goyim whom my fathers ruined - Gozan and Haran and Reseph and the sons of Eden which were in Telassar - rescued they them? 13 Where is the sovereign of Hamath? And the sovereign of Arphad? And the sovereign of the city of Sepharvayim, Hena, and Avvah?

Isaiah 37:13-13

13 Where is the sovereign of Hamath? And the sovereign of Arphad? And the sovereign of the city of Sepharvayim, Hena, and Avvah? 14 And Yechizqi Yah takes the scroll from the hand of the angels, and calls it out: and Yechizqi Yah ascends to the house of Yah Veh and spreads it at the face of Yah Veh: 15 and Yechizqi Yah prays to Yah Veh, saying,

Isaiah 37:17-18

17 spread your ear, O Yah Veh, and hear; open your eyes, O Yah Veh, and see: and hear all the words of Sancherib, who sent to reproach the living Elohim. 18 Truly, O Yah Veh, the sovereigns of Ashshur parched all the lands, and their lands;

Isaiah 37:18-19

18 Truly, O Yah Veh, the sovereigns of Ashshur parched all the lands, and their lands; 19 and gave their elohim into the fire: for they are no elohim - only the work of human hands, timber and stone: they destroyed them.

Isaiah 37:23-24

23 Whom reproach you? And blaspheme? And against whom exalt you your voice? And lift your eyes on high? Against the Holy One of Yisra El!

Isaiah 37:23-29

23 Whom reproach you? And blaspheme? And against whom exalt you your voice? And lift your eyes on high? Against the Holy One of Yisra El! 24 By the hand of your servants you reproach Adonay, and say, By the abundance of my chariots I ascend to the height of the mountains - to the flanks of Lebanon; and I cut down the height of the cedars and the choice fir trees: and I enter the height of his edge and the forest of his Karmel/orchard:

Isaiah 37:24-29

24 By the hand of your servants you reproach Adonay, and say, By the abundance of my chariots I ascend to the height of the mountains - to the flanks of Lebanon; and I cut down the height of the cedars and the choice fir trees: and I enter the height of his edge and the forest of his Karmel/orchard: 25 I dig and drink water; and with the sole of my steps I parch all the rivers of the rampart. 26 Heard you not in the distant past, that I worked it? Of ancient days, that I formed it? now I bring it to become, for you to waste fortified cities into desolate heaps. 27 And their settlers are short handed - dismayed and shamed - as the herbage of the field and as the green sprouts; as the grass on the roofs and as the field at the face of the stalks. 28 And I know your sitting and your coming and your going; and your quaking against me:

Isaiah 37:28-29

28 And I know your sitting and your coming and your going; and your quaking against me: 29 because of your quaking against me your uproar ascends into my ears: I set my hook in your nostrils and my bit in your lips; and I turn you back by the way you came.

Isaiah 45:16-17

16 They shame; they even confound - all of them: the engravers of molds go to shame together. 17 Yisra El is saved in Yah Veh with an eternal salvation: you neither shame nor confound to the eternal ages.

Jeremiah 2:36

36 Why gad you about so mightily to change your way? Even of Misrayim, you shame as you shamed of Ashshur.

Jeremiah 10:3-5

3 for the statutes of the people are vain: for one cuts a tree from the forest - the work of the hands of the engraver with the ax: 4 they beautify with silver and with gold; they strengthen with nails and with hammers so that it wiggles not: 5 round as the palm tree, but word not: in bearing, they bear, because they pace not. Awe them not, for they vilify not; yes, it is not in them to well-please.

Jeremiah 10:10-12

10 And Yah Veh is the Elohim of truth; he is the living Elohim and eternal sovereign: the earth quakes at his rage and the goyim contain not his rage. 11 Thus you say to them, The elah who made not the heavens and the earth destructs from the earth and from under these heavens. 12 He worked the earth by his force; he established the world by his wisdom; and spread the heavens by his discernment.

5 And the valiant of Paroh come from Misrayim: and the Kesediym besieging Yeru Shalem hear their report; and they ascend from Yeru Shalem. 6 And so be the word of Yah Veh to the prophet Yirme Yah, saying, 7 Thus says Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El: Say thus to the sovereign of Yah Hudah, who sent you to me to enquire of me: Behold, the valiant of Paroh who come to help you return to Misrayim into their own land: 8 and the Kesediym return and fight against this city and capture it and burn it with fire.

16 And he says to me, Son of humanity, behold, I break the rod of bread in Yeru Shalem: and they eat bread by weight, and with concern; and they drink water by measure, and with astonishment:

Ezekiel 17:15

15 And he rebels against him by sending his angels into Misrayim, so that they give him horses and much people. Prospers he? Escapes he who works such? Or, breaks he the covenant and escapes?

Ezekiel 29:6-7

6 and all the settlers of Misrayim know I - Yah Veh, because of their being a stalk of support to the house of Yisra El. 7 They apprehend you by your palm; you crush and split all their shoulder: and when they lean on you, you break and shake all their loins.

Ezekiel 31:3-18

3 Behold, the Ashshuri, a cedar in Lebanon with beautiful branches with an overshadowing forest and high in height; with his foliage among the thick foliage:

Ezekiel 31:3-10

3 Behold, the Ashshuri, a cedar in Lebanon with beautiful branches with an overshadowing forest and high in height; with his foliage among the thick foliage: 4 the waters greaten him; the abyss lifts him; and her rivers pass all around his plants and send her channels to all the trees of the field.

Ezekiel 31:4-10

4 the waters greaten him; the abyss lifts him; and her rivers pass all around his plants and send her channels to all the trees of the field. 5 So his height heightens above all the trees of the field; and his twigs greaten and his foliage lengthens because of the abundance of waters when he spreads forth:

Ezekiel 31:5-10

5 So his height heightens above all the trees of the field; and his twigs greaten and his foliage lengthens because of the abundance of waters when he spreads forth: 6 all the flyers of the heavens nest in his twigs and under his foliage all the live beings of the field birth their young; and all the great goyim settle under his shadow:

Ezekiel 31:6-10

6 all the flyers of the heavens nest in his twigs and under his foliage all the live beings of the field birth their young; and all the great goyim settle under his shadow: 7 and he beautifies in his greatness - in the length of his branches: and so be his root by great waters:

Ezekiel 31:7-10

7 and he beautifies in his greatness - in the length of his branches: and so be his root by great waters: 8 the cedars in the garden of Elohim shade him not: neither are the fir trees like his twigs; nor the chesnut trees like his foliage; nor any tree in the garden of Elohim like him in his beauty:

Ezekiel 31:8-10

8 the cedars in the garden of Elohim shade him not: neither are the fir trees like his twigs; nor the chesnut trees like his foliage; nor any tree in the garden of Elohim like him in his beauty: 9 I worked him beautiful in the abundance of his branches: so that all the trees of Eden in the garden of Elohim envy him.

Ezekiel 31:9-10

9 I worked him beautiful in the abundance of his branches: so that all the trees of Eden in the garden of Elohim envy him. 10 So thus says Adonay Yah Veh: Because you heighten in height, and he gives his foliage among the thick foliage and lifts his heart in height;

Ezekiel 31:10-10

10 So thus says Adonay Yah Veh: Because you heighten in height, and he gives his foliage among the thick foliage and lifts his heart in height; 11 so I give him into the hand of the el of the goyim; in working, he works with him: I drive him out for his wickedness: 12 and strangers, the tyrants of the goyim, cut him off and abandon him: his branches fall on the mountains and in all the valleys; and his foliage breaks by all the reservoirs of the earth; and all the people of the earth descend from his shadow and abandon him: 13 all the flyers of the heavens, tabernacle on his ruin; and all the live beings of the field are on his foliage: 14 so that none of all the trees by the waters heighten themselves in height; neither give their foliage among the thick foliage nor their mighty oaks stand in their height - all drinking waters: for they are all given to death; to the nethermost of the earth midst the sons of humanity, who descend with them to the well. 15 Thus says Adonay Yah Veh: In the day he descends to sheol I cause a mourning; I cover the abyss for him: and I withhold the rivers and stay the great waters: and I darken Lebanon for him and all the trees of the field languish for him: 16 I quake the goyim at the voice of his ruin when I bring him down to sheol with them who descend into the well: and all the trees of Eden - the choice and best of Lebanon - all who drink water sigh in the nethermost of the earth: 17 they also descend into sheol with him to the pierced with the sword; and settles his arm under his shadow midst the goyim. 18 To whom are you thus likened in honor and in greatness among the trees of Eden? Yet I bring you down with the trees of Eden to the nethermost of the earth: to lie among the uncircumcised with the pierced by the sword - thus is Paroh and all his multitude - an oracle of Adonay Yah Veh.
