⁸ For Yeru Shalem falters and Yah Hudah falls: because of their tongue and their exploitations against Yah Veh - to rebel against the eyes of his honor:

⁵ and Yah Veh his Elohim gives him into the hand of the sovereign of Aram and they smite him; and capture a great multitude and bring them to Dammeseq: and he is given into the hand of the sovereign of Yisra El, who smites him with a great stroke. ⁶ And Peqach the son of Remal Yah slaughters in Yah Hudah a hundred and twenty thousand in one day - all sons of valour; because they forsake Yah Veh Elohim of their fathers. ⁷ And Zichri, mighty of Ephrayim, slaughters Maase Yah the son of the sovereign and Ezri Qam the eminent of the house and El Qanah the second to the sovereign:

¹⁸ and the Peleshethiy strip the cities of the lowlands and of the south of Yah Hudah and capture Beth Shemesh and Aijalon and Gederoth and Sochoh with the daughters thereof and Timnah with the daughters thereof and Gimzo and the daughters thereof: and there they settle.

⁶ and he passes his sons through the fire in the valley of the son of burning: and he cloudglazes and prognosticates and sorcers: and works with a necromancer and with knowers: he abounds to work evil in the eyes of Yah Veh to vex him. ⁷ And he sets a sculptile - a figurine he worked in the house of Elohim, of which Elohim said to David and to Shelomoh his son, In this house and in Yeru Shalem which I chose from all the scions of Yisra El I set my name eternally:

¹¹ and Yah Veh brings on them the governors of the host of the sovereign of Ashshur who capture Menash Sheh among the thorns and bind him with copper and walk him to Babel:

¹⁷ And he ascends the sovereign of the Kasdiy on them who slaughters their youths with the sword in the house of their holies: and has no compassion on youth or virgin; old man or aged: he gives them all into his hand: ¹⁸ and all the instruments of the house of Elohim - great and small and the treasures of the house of Yah Veh and the treasures of the sovereign and of his governors - all these he brings to Babel: ¹⁹ and they burn the house of Elohim and pull down the wall of Yeru Shalem and burn all the citadels thereof with fire and ruin all the instruments of desire thereof:

⁸ they blaspheme and word evil concerning oppression; they word loftily: ⁹ they set their mouth against the heavens and their tongue walks through the earth. ¹⁰ So his people return here; and waters of fulness wring out to them. ¹¹ And they say, How knows El? Is there knowledge in Elyon?

⁷ Your land, a desolation; your cities, burned with fire: your soil, strangers devour in your presence - a desolation overthrown by strangers.

¹⁸ Ho to them who draw perversity with cords of vanity, and sin as a wagon rope: ¹⁹ who say, Hasten him: hasten his work for us to see: and that the counsel of the Holy One of Yisra El approach and come, for us to know.

¹⁷ So Adonay neither cheers in their youths, nor mercies their orphans and widows: for every one is a profaner and a vilifier and every mouth words folly. For all this he turns not away his wrath and still spreads his hand.

⁴ Against whom delight you yourselves? Against whom enlarge you the mouth and lengthen the tongue? Are you not children of rebellion? A seed of falsehood

³ a people who vex me continually to my face; who sacrifice in gardens and incense on altars of brick; ⁴ who settle among the tombs and stay overnight in the guards - who eat flesh of swine; and soup of stench is in their instruments; ⁵ who say, Approach! - but come not near me; lest I hallow you. These are a smoke in my nostrils, a fire that burns all the day.

⁶ then I give this house as Shiloh and give this city for an abasement to all the goyim of the earth.

¹⁸ Michah Yah the Moreshethiy was prophesying in the days of Yechizqi Yah sovereign of Yah Hudah; and said to all the people of Yah Hudah, saying, Thus says Yah Veh Sabaoth; Siyon becomes a plowed field; and Yeru Shalem becomes heaps; and the mountain of the house as the bamahs of a forest.

¹⁶ the crown is fallen from our head; woe to us, for we sinned! ¹⁷ For this our heart bleeds; for these our eyes darken.

⁴ And behold, the honor of Elohim of Yisra El is according to the visage I saw in the valley. ⁵ And he says to me, Son of humanity, lift your eyes, I beseech, the way northward. And I lift my eyes the way northward, and behold, northward at the portal of the sacrifice altar this figurine of jealousy in the entry. ⁶ He says to me, Son of humanity, see you what they work? - the great abhorrences the house of Yisra El works here to remove afar from my holies? And turn yet again, and see greater abominations.

¹² And says he to me, Son of humanity, you see what the elders of the house of Yisra El work in the dark - every man in the chambers of his imagery? for they say, Yah Veh sees us not; Yah Veh forsook the earth.

¹⁷ And he says to me, See you, O son of humanity? Is it trifling to the house of Yah Hudah to work the abhorrences they work here? For they fill the land with violence and return to vex me: and behold, they spread the twig to their nostrils. ¹⁸ So I also work in fury: neither my eye spares, nor I compassion: and though they call out in my ears with a great voice, yet I hear them not.

⁹ And he says to me, The perversity of the house of Yisra El and Yah Hudah is mighty mighty great, and the land fills with blood and the city fills with distortion: for they say, Yah Veh forsakes the earth, and Yah Veh sees not.

¹⁶ they return, but not to Elyon: they are as a deceitful bow: their governors fall by the sword for the rage of their tongue: this is their derision in the land of Misrayim.

¹² So because of you Siyon is plowed as a field and Yeru Shalem becomes heaps; and the mountain of the house as the bamahs of the forest.

¹³ - eyes, purer than to see evil, that cannot look on toil: Why look on them who deal covertly? And hush when the wicked swallow him who is more just?

¹³ Your words prevail against me, says Yah Veh. Yet you say, What word we against you? ¹⁴ You say, It is vain to serve Elohim! and, What greedy gain is it to guard his guard, and to walk darkly at the face of Yah Veh Sabaoth? ¹⁵ And now we call the arrogant, blithesome; yes, those working wickedness are built up; yes, they proof Elohim, and escape.

³⁶ But I word to you, That every idle rhema - whatever humanity speaks, renders word concerning it in the day of judgment: ³⁷ for by your words you are justified; and by your words you are adjudged.
