And his heart shakes - and the heart of his people as the trees of the forest shake at the face of the wind. ³ Then Yah Veh says to Yesha Yah, Go, I beseech, to meet Ach Az - you and Shear Yashub your son, at the end of the channel of the most high pool in the highway of the field of the fuller; ⁴ and say to him, On guard! and, Rest! Neither awe nor tenderize your heart for the two tails of these smoking brands - for the fuming wrath of Resin and Aram and the son of Remal Yah: ⁵ because Aram, Ephrayim, and the son of Remal Yah counsel evil against you, saying, ⁶ We ascend against Yah Hudah and loathe it and split it for us, and reign a sovereign in their midst - the son of Tabe El. ⁷ Thus says Adonay Yah Veh, It neither rises, nor becomes: ⁸ for the head of Aram is Dammeseq and the head of Dammeseq is Resin: and within sixty-five years Ephrayim, as a people, breaks. ⁹ And the head of Ephrayim is Shomeron and the head of Shomeron is the son of Remal Yah: If you trust not, surely you are not trustworthy. ¹⁰
THE SIGN OF IMMANU EL And Yah Veh adds to word to Ach Az, saying, ¹¹ You, ask a sign of Yah Veh your Elohim; ask, either deep, or high above. ¹² And Ach Az says, I neither ask nor test Yah Veh. ¹³ And he says, Hear now, O house of David; Is it petty for you to weary men? And also weary my Elohim? ¹⁴ So Adonay himself gives you a sign: Behold, a virgin conceives and births a son and calls his name Immanu El: ¹⁵ he eats butter and honey to know to refuse the evil and choose the good: ¹⁶ for ere the lad knows to refuse the evil and choose the good, the soil you abhor is forsaken at the face of both her sovereigns: ¹⁷ Yah Veh brings upon you and upon your people and upon the house of your father, days such as came not - even from the day Ephrayim turned aside from Yah Hudah by the sovereign of Ashshur. ¹⁸ And so be it, in that day, Yah Veh hisses for the fly in the end of the rivers of Misrayim and for the bee in the land of Ashshur: ¹⁹ and they all come and rest in the wadies of desolations and in the holes of the rocks and upon all thorns and upon all pastures. ²⁰ In the same day, Adonay, by the sovereign of Ashshur, with a razor, shaves the hireling beyond the river - the head, and the hair of the feet: yes, also scrapes away the beard. ²¹ And so be it, in that day, that a man keeps alive a young heifer of the herd, and two flock; ²² and so be it, for the abundance of milk that they work he eats butter: for every one who remains in the land eats butter and honey. ²³ And so be it, in that day, so be it, that every place where there are a thousand vines worth a thousand silverlings, it becomes for briers and thorns: ²⁴ he comes there with arrows and with bows; because all the land becomes briers and thorns: ²⁵ and on all hills hoed with the hoe, there comes not the fear of briers and thorns: but it becomes for the sending forth of oxen, and for the trampling of lambs.

²⁵ And Peqach the son of Remal Yah, his tertiary, conspires against him and smites him in Shomeron, in the citadel of the house of the sovereign; with Argob and Aryah and with fifty men of the sons of the Giladiy: and he deathifies him and reigns in his stead.

³⁷ In those days Yah Veh begins to send against Yah Hudah Resin the sovereign of Aram and Peqach the son of Remal Yah.

ACHAZ REIGNS OVER YAH HUDAH
In the seventeenth year of Peqach the son of Remal Yah, Achaz the son of Yah Tham, sovereign of Yah Hudah begins to reign.

ACHAZ REIGNS IN YERU SHALEM
Achaz is a son of twenty years when he begins to reign: and he reigns sixteen years in Yeru Shalem: and he works not straight in the eyes of Yah Veh as David his father: ² and he walks in the ways of the sovereigns of Yisra El and also works moltens for Baalim: ³ and he incenses in the valley of the son of burning and burns his sons in the fire - as the abhorrences of the goyim whom Yah Veh dispossessed at the face of the sons of Yisra El: ⁴ and he sacrifices and incenses in the bamahs and on the hills and under every green tree: ⁵ and Yah Veh his Elohim gives him into the hand of the sovereign of Aram and they smite him; and capture a great multitude and bring them to Dammeseq: and he is given into the hand of the sovereign of Yisra El, who smites him with a great stroke. ⁶ And Peqach the son of Remal Yah slaughters in Yah Hudah a hundred and twenty thousand in one day - all sons of valour; because they forsake Yah Veh Elohim of their fathers.

³ they strategize private counsel against your people; and counsel against your treasured ones. ⁴ They say, Come; and we cut them off from the goyim; that the name of Yisra El be no more remembered. ⁵ For they counseled together with one heart; they cut a covenant against you

THE VISION OF YESHA YAH
The vision Yesha Yah the son of Amos saw concerning Yah Hudah and Yeru Shalem in the days of Uzzi Yah, Yah Tham, Ach Az, and Yechizq Yah - sovereigns of Yah Hudah.

⁴ and say to him, On guard! and, Rest! Neither awe nor tenderize your heart for the two tails of these smoking brands - for the fuming wrath of Resin and Aram and the son of Remal Yah: ⁵ because Aram, Ephrayim, and the son of Remal Yah counsel evil against you, saying, ⁶ We ascend against Yah Hudah and loathe it and split it for us, and reign a sovereign in their midst - the son of Tabe El. ⁷ Thus says Adonay Yah Veh, It neither rises, nor becomes: ⁸ for the head of Aram is Dammeseq and the head of Dammeseq is Resin: and within sixty-five years Ephrayim, as a people, breaks. ⁹ And the head of Ephrayim is Shomeron and the head of Shomeron is the son of Remal Yah: If you trust not, surely you are not trustworthy.

⁶ Because this people refuses the waters of Shiloach that come gently and in joy with Resin and the son of Remal Yah;

⁹ Be broken, O you people - be broken; and hearken, all you of lands afar: gird, and be broken; gird, and be broken: ¹⁰ in counselling, counsel; and it breaks; word the word, and it rises not: for El is with us.

³⁶ And on those who survive, I send a timidity into their hearts in the lands of their enemies; and the voice of a driven leaf pursues them; and they flee as retreating from a sword; and they fall when none pursues: ³⁷ and they falter - man to brother as at the face of a sword when none pursues: and you have no resistance at the face of your enemies:

THE SONS OF YISRA EL MURMUR
And all the witness lift and give their voice and cry; and the people weep that night. ² And all the sons of Yisra El murmur against Mosheh and against Aharon: and all the witness say to them, O that we had died in the land of Misrayim! O that we had died in this wilderness! ³ And why brings Yah Veh us to this land, to fall by the sword? And our women and our children become a plunder? Were it not better for us to return into Misrayim?

⁶⁵ And among these goyim you neither blink nor rest the sole of your foot: and there Yah Veh gives you a quivering heart and failing of eyes and sorrow of soul: ⁶⁶ and suspends your life in front of you; and you fear day and night and trust not in your life:

¹⁶ and your house and your sovereigndom are permanent - eternally at your face: your throne is established eternally.

³² and he has one scion for sake of my servant David and for sake of Yeru Shalem the city I chose from all the scions of Yisra El:

THE SOVEREIGNDOM DIVIDED
And all Yisra El sees that the sovereign hearkens not to them, and the people return word to the sovereign, saying, What allotment have we in David? Yes, there is no inheritance in the son of Yishay: to your tents, O Yisra El! Now see to your own house, O David. - and Yisra El goes to their tents.

² and he calls out against the sacrifice altar in the word of Yah Veh, and says, Sacrifice altar! Sacrifice altar! Thus says Yah Veh: Behold, a son is birthed to the house of David, Yoshi Yah by name; and on you he sacrifices the priests of the bamahs who incense upon you; and burn human bones upon you.

⁶ for Adonay has the camp of the Aramiy hear a voice of chariots and a voice of horses - the voice of a great valiant. And they say man to brother, Behold, the sovereign of Yisra El hires against us the sovereigns of the Hethiy and the sovereigns of the Misrayim to come against us. ⁷ And they rise and flee in the evening breeze and leave their tents and the camp as it is and their horses and their he burros - and flee for their soul:

¹⁰ Then Amaz Yah separates them - the troop that came to him from Ephrayim to go to their place: and they kindle their wrath mightily against Yah Hudah; and return to their place in fuming wrath.

¹² And the men, heads of the sons of Ephrayim, Azar Yah the son of Yah Hanan Berech Yah the son of Meshillemoth and Yechizqi Yah the son of Shallum and Amasa the son of Hadlai rise against them who come from the hostility

¹ To His Eminence; By David. In Yah Veh I seek refuge; how say you to my soul, Wander as a bird to your mountain?

¹ By David. Yah Veh is my light and my salvation; whom dread I? Yah Veh is the stronghold of my life; whom dread I? ² When the vilifiers - my tribulators and my enemies come on me to eat my flesh, they stumble and fall.

⁷ he awes not evil reports; his heart is established, confiding in Yah Veh: ⁸ his heart sustains; he awes not - until he sees his tribulators:

¹ The wicked flee when no one pursues; and the just are confident as a whelp.

¹³ And yet there is a tenth therein that returns to burn as an oak tree and as an oak with its stump, when they cast: the holy seed is the stump.

¹³ And he says, Hear now, O house of David; Is it petty for you to weary men? And also weary my Elohim?

¹⁷ Yah Veh brings upon you and upon your people and upon the house of your father, days such as came not - even from the day Ephrayim turned aside from Yah Hudah by the sovereign of Ashshur.

¹² You, say not, Conspiracy, to all them to whom this people say, Conspiracy; neither awe their awesomeness, nor be awed.

⁹ and all the people knew - Ephrayim and the settler of Shomeron, saying, in the pomp and greatness of heart,

¹³ and turns aside the envy of Ephrayim, and cuts off the tribulators of Yah Hudah: neither Ephrayim envies Yah Hudah, nor Yah Hudah tribulates Ephrayim:

²² and I give the key of the house of David on his shoulder; thus he opens and no one shuts; and he shuts and no one opens:

²⁷ And their settlers are short handed - dismayed and shamed - as the herbage of the field and as the green sprouts; as the grass on the roofs and as the field at the face of the stalks.

³⁵ For I garrison this city to save it for my own sake and for sake of my servant David.

¹² O house of David, thus says Yah Veh: Plead the cause in the morning and rescue the stripped from the hand of the oppressor lest my fury go out as fire and burns so no one can quench at the face of the evil of your exploits.

¹⁶ And you, son of humanity, take one tree and inscribe thereon, For Yah Hudah, and for the sons of Yisra El his companions: and take one tree and inscribe thereon, For Yoseph, the tree of Ephrayim and for all the house of Yisra El his companions: ¹⁷ and approach them one by one into one tree; and they become one in your hand. ¹⁸ And when the sons of your people say to you, saying, Tell you not us what these are to you? ¹⁹ Word to them, Thus says Adonay Yah Veh: Behold, I take the tree of Yoseph, in the hand of Ephrayim, and the scions of Yisra El his companions, and give them with him, with the tree of Yah Hudah, and work them, one tree, and they become one in my hand.

¹ Ephrayim grazes on wind and pursues the easterly; every day he abounds lies and ravages: and they cut a covenant with the Ashshuri and bear oil to Misrayim.

³ When Herod the sovereign hears these, he is troubled - and all Yeru Shalem with him:

¹⁵ Go to Paroh in the morning; behold, he goes to the water; and you station yourself by the river edge to confront him; and take the rod which turned into a serpent in your hand,

¹⁷ and the sovereign of Ashshur sends Tartan the chief eunuch and Rab Shaqeh/the chief butler from Lachish to sovereign Yechizqi Yah with heavy valiant against Yeru Shalem: and they ascend and come to Yeru Shalem: and they ascend and come and stand by the Pool Elyon in the highway of the field of the fuller:

THE DEATH OF YECHIZQI YAH
And the rest of the words of Yechizqi Yah and all his might and how he works a pool and a channel and brings water into the city, are they not inscribed in the scroll of the words of the days of the sovereigns of Yah Hudah?

²¹ the survivors return - the survivors of Yaaqov to the mighty El.

² and the sovereign of Ashshur sends Rab Shaqeh from Lachish to Yeru Shalem to king Yechizqi Yah - heavy with valiant: and he stands by the channel of the most high pool in the highway of the field of the fuller.

⁷ the wicked forsake his way; and the man of mischief, his fabrications: and he returns to Yah Veh, and he mercies him; and to our Elohim, for he abounds to forgive.

² and go forth to Gay Ben Hinnom/Valley of the Son of Burning by the opening of the pottery portal; and there call out the words I word you, ³ and say, Hear the word of Yah Veh, O sovereigns of Yah Hudah and settlers of Yeru Shalem; thus says Yah Veh Sabaoth, Elohim of Yisra El: Behold, I bring evil on this place, by which whoever hears, his ears tingle:

THE JUDGMENT OF THE HOUSE OF YAH HUDAH
Thus says Yah Veh: Descend to the house of the sovereign of Yah Hudah and word there this word,

²⁷ Yesha Yah also cries in behalf of Yisra El, Whenever the number of the sons of Yisra El become as the sand of the sea, only the remnant is saved:

¹³ And Mosheh says to the people, Awe not! Stand still and see the salvation of Yah Veh which he works to you today: for the Misrayim whom you see today, you see them never again any more eternally: ¹⁴ Yah Veh fights for you - and you hush.

³ and says to them, Hear, O Yisra El, you approach this day to battle against your enemies: neither tenderize your hearts nor awe nor hasten nor terrify at their face;

³² And David says to Shaul, O that no human heart fall because of him; your servant goes and fights this Peleshethiy.

²⁹ In the days of Peqach sovereign of Yisra El Tilgath Pileser sovereign of Ashshur comes and takes Iyon and Abel Beth Maachah and Yanochah and Qedesh and Hasor and Gilad and Galiyl - all the land of Naphtali and exiles them to Ashshur. ³⁰ And Hoshea the son of Elah conspires a conspiracy against Peqach the son of Remal Yah; and smites him and deathifies him and reigns in his stead in the twentieth year of Yah Tham the son of Uzzi Yah.

¹⁷ Fight not in this: Set yourselves! Stand! See the salvation of Yah Veh with you, O Yah Hudah and Yeru Shalem: neither awe nor terrify: tomorrow go out at their face and Yah Veh is with you.

WAR AGAINST YERU SHALEM
And so be it, in the days of Ach Az the son of Yah Tham, the son of Uzzi Yah sovereign of Yah Hudah, that Resin the sovereign of Aram, and Peqach the son of Remal Yah sovereign of Yisra El ascend to Yeru Shalem to war against it but cannot fight against it.

⁸ for the head of Aram is Dammeseq and the head of Dammeseq is Resin: and within sixty-five years Ephrayim, as a people, breaks.

⁴ for ere the lad knows to call out, My father! and, My mother!, they lift the valuables of Dammeseq and the spoil of Shomeron from the face of the sovereign of Ashshur.

¹¹ For thus Yah Veh says to me with a strong hand; and disciplines me to not walk in the way of this people, saying, ¹² You, say not, Conspiracy, to all them to whom this people say, Conspiracy; neither awe their awesomeness, nor be awed. ¹³ Hallow Yah Veh Sabaoth himself to be your awe and to be your dread. ¹⁴ And he becomes for a holies; and for a stone of stubbing and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Yisra El for a snare; and for a snare to the settlers of Yeru Shalem:

²⁴ So Adonay Yah Veh Sabaoth says thus: O my people settling in Siyon, awe not the Ashshuri: he smites you with a scion and lifts his rod against you after the way of Misrayim:

⁷ Yes, the Misrayim are vanity and help in vain: so concerning this, I call out, Their pride is to shabbathize!

¹⁵ For thus says Adonay Yah Veh the Holy One of Yisra El, In returning and rest you are saved; in resting and in confidence is your might: and you will not.

⁴ Say to the hasty heart, Be strong! Awe not! Behold, your Elohim! Avengement comes - the dealing of Elohim; he comes and saves you.

¹⁴ Awe not, you maggot Yaaqov, and you men of Yisra El; I help you - an oracle of Yah Veh your redeemer, the Holy One of Yisra El.

¹² I - I - he who sighs over you. Who are you to awe a man who dies? and, of the son of humanity, given as grass? ¹³ And forgets Yah Veh your worker who spread the heavens and laid the foundations of the earth? - who feared continually every day at the face of the fury of the oppressor as if he were prepared to ruin? And where is the fury of the oppressor?

²⁶ - good to await - to silently await the salvation of Yah Veh.

¹¹ I turned against you, as Elohim overthrew Sedom and Amorah, - as a brand rescued from the burning: yet you returned not to me - an oracle of Yah Veh.

² And Yah Veh says to Satan, Yah Veh rebuke you, O Satan; Yah Veh who chooses Yeru Shalem rebukes you: Is not this a brand rescued from the fire?

²⁸ And awe not them who slaughter the body, but are not able to slaughter the soul: but rather awe him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gay Hinnom/the Valley of Burning.

⁶ and you are about to hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that you not lament: for all these must become; but the completion/shalom is not yet.

² The sovereigns of the earth station themselves and the potentates set counsel together against Yah Veh and against his anointed.

³ they strategize private counsel against your people; and counsel against your treasured ones. ⁴ They say, Come; and we cut them off from the goyim; that the name of Yisra El be no more remembered.

¹¹ From you comes one who fabricates evil against Yah Veh - a counsellor of Beli Yaal.

¹⁵ and in my enraging, I enrage greatly with the goyim who relax: for I was but a little enraged, and they helped for evil.

⁴ He who settles in the heavens laughs; Adonay derides them; ⁵ then he words to them in his wrath and terrifies them in his fuming. ⁶ And I - I anointed my sovereign on my holy mount Siyon;

¹¹ the counsel of Yah Veh stands eternal; the fabrications of his heart generation to generation.

¹⁰ Surely the fury of humanity spreads hands to you; you gird the survivors of fury;

³⁰ There is neither wisdom nor discernment nor counsel against Yah Veh.

¹⁰ in counselling, counsel; and it breaks; word the word, and it rises not: for El is with us.

⁶ I send him against a goyim of profaners and against the people of my wrath; I misvah him to take the spoil and to plunder the plunder; and to set them for trampling as the heap of the outways: ⁷ and he - he neither considers thus, nor fabricates his heart thus; but in his heart is to desolate and cut off goyim not a few. ⁸ - for he says, Are not my governors altogether sovereigns? ⁹ Is not Kalneh as Karchemish? Is not Hamath as Arpad? Is not Shomeron as Dammeseq? ¹⁰ As my hand found the sovereigndoms of the idol, and their sculptiles of Yeru Shalem and Shomeron; ¹¹ Work I not as I worked to Shomeron and her idols? Work thus to Yeru Shalem and her idols? ¹² And so be it, when Adonay clips his whole work on mount Siyon and on Yeru Shalem, I visit upon the fruit of the greatness of heart of the sovereign of Ashshur and the adornment of his haughty eyes.

²⁹ because of your quaking against me your uproar ascends into my ears: I set my hook in your nostrils and my bit in your lips; and I turn you back by the way you came.

¹⁰ telling the end from the beginning, and what formerly was not worked from antiquity, saying, My counsel rises and I work all my delight: ¹¹ calling a swooper from the rising and the man who executes my counsel from a land afar: yes, I word; yes, I bring it; I formed; yes, I also work it.

³⁷ Who is this - who says, and it becomes and Adonay commands not?

³⁵ and all who whirl on the earth are machinated as nought: and he does as he wills among the valiant of the heavens and they who whirl on the earth: and no one can strike his hand, or say to him, What serve you?

²⁵ who through the mouth of your lad David said, Why do the goyim snort and the people premeditate in vain? ²⁶ The sovereigns of the earth stand, and the archs gather together against Yah Veh and against his Messiah. ^{Psalm 2:1, 2 27} For of a truth, against your holy lad Yah Shua whom you anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilatos with the goyim and the people of Yisra El gathered together, ²⁸ to do as much as your hand and your counsel predetermined to become.

¹⁵ And he allots against them by night - he and his servants and smites them and pursues them to Hobah at the left of Dammeseq.

⁶ and David sets stations in Aram of Dammeseq: and the Aramiy become servants to David to lift offerings. And Yah Veh saves David wherever he goes.

⁵ and the sovereign of Ashshur ascends to all the land and ascends to Shomeron and besieges it three years. ⁶
YISRA EL EXILED
In the ninth year of Hoshea the sovereign of Ashshur captures Shomeron and exiles Yisra El to Ashshur; and sets them in Halach and in Habor by the river Gozan and in the cities of the Madaim. ⁷ And so be it, the sons of Yisra El sin against Yah Veh their Elohim - who ascended them from the land of Misrayim from under the hand of Paroh sovereign of Misrayim - and they awe other elohim ⁸ which they work: and walk in the statutes of the goyim whom Yah Veh dispossessed from the face of the sons of Yisra El and from the sovereigns of Yisra El: ⁹ and the sons of Yisra El covertly work words that are not right against Yah Veh their Elohim: and they build bamahs in all their cities from the tower of the guards to the fortified city: ¹⁰ and they station monoliths and asherim in every high hill and under every green tree: ¹¹ and incense there in all the bamahs as the goyim whom Yah Veh exiled from their face; and work evil words to vex Yah Veh: ¹² and serve idols, whereof Yah Veh said to them, Work not this word! ¹³ And Yah Veh witnesses against Yisra El and against Yah Hudah, by the hand of all the prophets and by all the seers, saying, Turn from your evil ways and guard my misvoth and my statutes, according to all the torah I misvahed your fathers - which I send to you by the hand of my servants the prophets. ¹⁴ And they hearken not, and harden their necks, as the neck of their fathers, who trusted not in Yah Veh their Elohim: ¹⁵ and they refuse his statutes and his covenant which he cut with their fathers and his witnesses which he witnessed against them; and they go after vanity and become vain and go after the goyim all around them - to whom Yah Veh misvahed to not work like them: ¹⁶ and they leave all the misvoth of Yah Veh their Elohim; and work moltens - two calves and work an asherah and prostrate to all the host of the heavens and serve Baal: ¹⁷ and they pass their sons and their daughters through the fire; and divine divination and prognostications and sell themselves to work evil in the eyes of Yah Veh - to vex him. ¹⁸ So Yah Veh angers mightily at Yisra El and turns them aside from his face: none survive except only, the scion of Yah Hudah: ¹⁹ Yah Hudah also guards not the misvoth of Yah Veh their Elohim but walks in the statutes Yisra El works. ²⁰ And Yah Veh refuses all the seed of Yisra El and humbles them; and gives them into the hand of plunderers until he casts them from his face: ²¹ for he rips Yisra El from the house of David; and they have Yarob Am the son of Nebat reign: and Yarob Am banishes Yisra El from going after Yah Veh and has them sin a great sin: ²² and the sons of Yisra El walk in all the sins Yarob Am works: they turn not aside from them; ²³ until Yah Veh turns Yisra El aside from his face, as he worded by the hand of all his servants the prophets: thus Yisra El is exiled from their own soil to Ashshur to this day.

² and they come near to Zerub Babel and the heads of the fathers, and say to them, Let us build with you: for we, as you, seek your Elohim; and we sacrificed not to him since the days of Esar Chaddon sovereign of Ashshur who ascended us here.

THE BURDEN OF DAMMESEQ
The burden of Dammeseq: Behold, Dammeseq turns aside as a city and becomes a ruinous ruin: ² the cities of Aroer are abandoned: they become for droves that crouch, and no one trembles them: ³ and the fortress from Ephrayim shabbathizes with the sovereigndom from Dammeseq; and the survivors of Aram become as the honor of the sons of Yisra El - an oracle of Yah Veh Sabaoth.

And she conceives again, and births a daughter: and he says to him, Call her name Lo Ruchamah/Not Mercied: for I add not to mercy the house of Yisra El; for in bearing, I bear them away: ⁷ and I mercy the house of Yah Hudah, and save them by Yah Veh their Elohim; and save them not by bow, or by sword, or by war, by horses, or by cavalry. ⁸

THE REIGN OF ACH AB OVER YISRA EL
And in the thirty-eighth year of Asa sovereign of Yah Hudah, Ach Ab the son of Omri begins to reign over Yisra El: and Ach Ab the son of Omri reigns over Yisra El in Shomeron twenty-two years.

In the fifty-second year of Azar Yah sovereign of Yah Hudah, Peqach the son of Remal Yah begins to reign over Yisra El in Shomeron twenty years.

²⁰ And they start early in the morning and go to the wilderness of Teqoha: and as they go Yah Shaphat stands and says, Hear me, O Yah Hudah and you settlers of Yeru Shalem; Trust in Yah Veh your Elohim, amenable; trust his prophets, prosper.

⁶ Because this people refuses the waters of Shiloach that come gently and in joy with Resin and the son of Remal Yah; ⁷ so, behold, Adonay ascends upon them the waters of the river, mighty and many, the sovereign of Ashshur and all his honor: and he ascends over all his reservoirs and goes over all his banks: ⁸ and he passes through Yah Hudah; he overflows and passes over; he touches to the neck: and the spreading of his wings fills the breadth of your land, O Immanu El.

¹² So the Holy One of Yisra El says thus, Because you spurn this word and confide in oppression and perverseness and lean thereon: ¹³ so this perversity is to you as a falling breach bulging out in a lofted wall - whose breaking comes suddenly in a blink. ¹⁴ And he breaks it as breaking the bag of the former - crushed; he spares not: so that no potsherd is found in the fracture thereof to take fire from the burning, or to strip water from the dugout.

¹¹ But the centurion had the confidence of the pilot and the ship captain, rather than those worded by Paulos.

²⁵ So men, cheer up! For I trust Elohim, that so be it in the manner spoken to me.

²⁰ Well! Because of trustlessness, they were exscinded and by trust, you stand. Be not highminded, but awe:

⁶ and apart from trust it is impossible to well-please: for whoever comes to Elohim must trust that he is: and that he comes a recompenser to them who seek him.

¹⁰ Whoever trusts on the Son of Elohim has the witness in himself: whoever trusts not Elohim makes him a liar; because he trusts not in the witness Elohim witnessed concerning his Son.

⁵ Why be smitten any more? You increase revolt; the whole head is sick; and the whole heart bleeds:

¹³ Add no more vain offerings; incense is an abhorrence to me; the new moons and shabbaths, the calling of convocations, I cannot; it is mischief: and the private assembly.

⁵ And Yah Veh adds to word to me, saying,

And so be it, in that day, the survivors of Yisra El and the escapees of the house of Yaaqov add not to lean upon him who smote them; and lean upon Yah Veh, the Holy One of Yisra El, in truth:

² And now they add to sin and work themselves moltens of their silver - idols according to their own discerning all the work of the engravers: of humanity who sacrifices, they say, Kiss the calves.

GIDON AND THE SHEARING
And Gidon says to Elohim, If you save Yisra El by my hand, as you worded, ³⁷ behold, I place a shearing of wool in the threshingfloor; and if the dew is on the shearing only, and parched on all the earth - then I know you save Yisra El by my hand as you worded. ³⁸ And so be it, he starts early on the morrow, and squeezes the shearing together and wrings the dew from the shearing - a bason full of water. ³⁹ And Gidon says to Elohim, Kindle not your wrath against me and I word but this one time: I test, I beseech you, but this one time with the shearing; parch it only, on the shearing and on all the earth be dew. ⁴⁰ And that night, Elohim works thus: for there is parch on the shearing only, and there is dew on all the earth.

²⁹ And this is your sign: this year, eat of the spontaneous growth; and in the second year, of the spontaneous sprout; and in the third year, seed and harvest and plant vineyards and eat the fruits thereof:

⁸ And Yechizqi Yah says to Yesha Yah, What is the sign that Yah Veh heals me and I ascend into the house of Yah Veh the third day? ⁹ And Yesha Yah says, This is your sign of Yah Veh that Yah Veh works the word he worded: that the shadow go forward ten degrees, or turns back ten degrees. ¹⁰ And Yechizqi Yah says, It is a trifle that the shadow spread ten degrees: no, but have the shadow turn back ten degrees. ¹¹ And Yesha Yah the prophet calls to Yah Veh: and he turns back the shadow ten degrees by the degrees it descends in the degrees of Achaz.

³⁰ And this is a sign to you, This year you eat the spontaneous growth; and the second year the spontaneous growth: and in the third year you seed and harvest and plant vineyards and eat the fruit.

⁷ and this is a sign to you from Yah Veh, that Yah Veh works this word he worded: ⁸ Behold, I turn back the shadow of the degrees which descends in the sun dial of Ach Az ten degrees backward. - thus the sun turns back ten degrees, by which degrees it had descended.

Thus says Yah Veh, Go and chattel a potsherd bottle of the former, of the elders of the people and of the elders of the priests;

Then some of the scribes and Pharisees answer, wording, Doctor, we will to see a sign from you. ³⁹ But he answers them, saying, An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign; and no sign is given except the sign of the prophet Yonah: ⁴⁰ for exactly as Yonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the monster; thus is the Son of humanity three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

¹³ Is it petty that you ascended us from a land flowing with milk and honey, to deathify us in the wilderness? - and in marshalling, marshall over us?

⁷ and Yah Veh wills to not ruin the house of David because of the covenant he cut with David; and as he says, to give him and his sons a lamp all days.

THE FURY OF YAH VEH AGAINST HIS PEOPLE
And Yah Veh Elohim of their fathers sends to them by the hand of his angels - starting early and sending; because he has compassion on his people and on his habitation: ¹⁶ and they deride the angels of Elohim and despise his words and deceive his prophets until the fury of Yah Veh ascends against his people - until there is no healing.

²⁴ - an oracle of Adonay Yah Veh Sabaoth the Almighty of Yisra El. Ho, I sigh over my tribulators and avenge me of my enemies:

² And they tell the house of David, saying, Aram rests with Ephrayim. And his heart shakes - and the heart of his people as the trees of the forest shake at the face of the wind.

THE EXALTMENT OF SPREAD HANDS
O Yah Veh, you my Elohim; I exalt you: I spread hands to your name: for you worked marvels; your counsels of the distant past are trustworthiness and amen.

²⁴ You neither chatteled me sweet stalk with silver, nor satiated me with the fat of your sacrifices: only you had me to serve with your sins; you belabored me with your perversities.

¹⁰ And they rebelled and contorted his holy Spirit: and he turned to be their enemy - he fought against them:

³ a people who vex me continually to my face; who sacrifice in gardens and incense on altars of brick; ⁴ who settle among the tombs and stay overnight in the guards - who eat flesh of swine; and soup of stench is in their instruments; ⁵ who say, Approach! - but come not near me; lest I hallow you. These are a smoke in my nostrils, a fire that burns all the day.

¹¹ and I am filled with the fury of Yah Veh; I am weary of containing: I pour it out on the suckling in the outways and on the private counsel of youths together: for they even capture the man with the woman - the elder with him who is full of days:

²⁰ And you take your sons and your daughters, whom you birthed to me, and you sacrifice them to be eaten. Are these trifling - your whoredoms,

⁴⁷ Yet you neither walk after their ways, nor work after their abhorrences: but loathe as a trifling: in all your ways, you are ruined more than they.

¹⁸ Is it belittling to you to tend the good pasture? To trample the remnant of your pastures with your feet? To drink of the pond waters? To foul what remains with your feet?

¹³ Hearken and witness in the house of Yaaqov - an oracle of Adonay Yah Veh Elohim Sabaoth

¹⁷ You belabor Yah Veh with your words: yet you say, Wherein belabor we him? By saying, Every one who works evil is good in the eyes of Yah Veh, and he delights in them! - or, Where is the Elohim of judgment?

⁶⁹ and raises a horn of salvation for us in the house of his lad David;

⁵¹ You hardnaped and noncircumcised in heart and ears, you ever oppose the Holy Spirit. As your fathers, also you.

¹⁰ So I was perturbed with that generation and said, They ever wander in their heart; and they know not my ways.

¹⁵ and I put enmity between you and between the woman and between your seed and between her seed; he crushes your head and you crush his heel.

THE FIRST TWINS
And Adam knows Havvah his woman; and she conceives and births Qayin and says, I chatteled a man from Yah Veh. ² - and she adds to birth his brother Abel: - and Abel becomes a tender of flocks and Qayin becomes a server of the soil.

²⁵ And Adam knows his woman again; and she births a son and calls his name Sheth: for Elohim has set me another seed instead of Abel - whom Qayin slaughtered.

¹¹ And the angel of Yah Veh says to her, Behold, you conceive and birth a son; and call his name Yishma El; because Yah Veh hears your humiliation:

³² and Leah conceives and births a son and she calls his name Reu Ben: for, she says, For this cause Yah Veh sees my humiliation; for this cause my man loves me.

⁶ and Rachel says, Elohim pleaded my cause and also heard my voice and gives me a son: so she calls his name Dan.

⁸ and Rachel says, With wrestlings of Elohim I wrestled with my sister and I prevail! - and she calls his name Naphtali.

²⁰ And so be it, in the revolution of days after Hannah conceives, she births a son and calls his name Shemu El - because I asked him of Yah Veh.

A CHILD IS BORN, A SON IS GIVEN
For a child is birthed to us; a son is given to us - and the dominion is on his shoulder: and he calls his name ^{\super *} Marvelous, Counsellor, Mighty El, Eternal Father, Governor of Shalom. ^*singular

²² How long go you about, O you apostate daughter? for Yah Veh creates newness in the earth; a female surrounds the mighty.

²³ Behold, a virgin has in womb and births a son; and they call his name Immanu El, which translates, Elohim with us. ^{Isaiah 7:14}

³¹ And behold, you conceive in your womb and birth a son: and call his name Yah Shua.

³⁵ And the angel answers her, saying, The Holy Spirit comes upon you and the dynamis of Elyon overshadows you: so also that holy one birthed of you is called the Son of Elohim.

And professedly, mega is the mystery of reverence - Elohim manifested in flesh, justified in Spirit, seen of angels, preached in the goyim, trusted in the cosmos, taken into glory.

⁵ Behold, I writhed in perversity; and in sin my mother conceived me.

²² and so be it, for the abundance of milk that they work he eats butter: for every one who remains in the land eats butter and honey.

¹⁵ Hate the evil and love the good and set judgment in the portal: perhaps Yah Veh Elohim Sabaoth grants charism to the survivors of Yoseph.

⁴ And this Yahn has his enduement of camel hair and a leather girdle around his loins; and his nourishment is locusts and wild honey:

And all Yisra El sees that the sovereign hearkens not to them, and the people return word to the sovereign, saying, What allotment have we in David? Yes, there is no inheritance in the son of Yishay: to your tents, O Yisra El! Now see to your own house, O David. - and Yisra El goes to their tents. ¹⁷ As for the sons of Yisra El who settle in the cities of Yah Hudah, Rechab Am reigns over them: ¹⁸ and sovereign Rechab Am sends Adoni Ram who is over the vassal; and all Yisra El stones him with stones, that he dies: and sovereign Rechab Am strengthens himself to ascend to his chariot to flee to Yeru Shalem. ¹⁹ and Yisra El rebels against the house of David to this day.

THE SOVEREIGN OF ASHSHUR ENCAMPS AGAINST YERU SHALEM
After these words and this truth, Sancherib sovereign of Ashshur comes and enters Yah Hudah and encamps against the cut off cities; and says to split them for himself: ² and Yechizqi Yah sees Sancherib come; and his face is to war against Yeru Shalem. ³ And he counsels with his governors and his mighty to stop the waters of the fountains outside the city: and they help him: ⁴ and much people gather and stop all the fountains and the wadi that overflows midst the land saying, Why come the sovereigns of Ashshur and find much water? ⁵ And he strengthens himself and builds all the broken wall so that it ascends to the towers; and another outer wall; and strengthens Millo the city of David: and works spears and bucklers in abundance. ⁶ And he gives governors of war over the people and gathers them to himself in the broadway of the portal of the city: and words to their heart, saying, ⁷ Strengthen! Encourage! Neither awe nor terrify at the face of the sovereign of Ashshur or at the face of all the multitude with him: for there are greater with us than with him: ⁸ with him - an arm of flesh; and with us - Yah Veh our Elohim to help us and to fight our wars. The elohim of the goyim of those lands are they able to rescue their lands from my hand? ¹⁴ Among all the elohim of those goyim my fathers devoted, who is able rescue his people from my hand - that your Elohim is able to rescue you from my hand? ¹⁵ And now neither may Yechizqi Yah deceive you, nor goad you thus, nor yet trust him: for no elohah of any goyim or sovereigndom is able to rescue his people from my hand and from the hand of my fathers: neither your Elohim rescues you from my hand. ¹⁶ And his servants still word against Yah Veh Elohim and against his servant Yechizqi Yah: ¹⁷ and he inscribes scrolls to reproach Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El to say against him, saying, As the elohim of the goyim of other lands have not rescued their people from my hand, thus Elohim of Yechizqi Yah rescues not his people from my hand. ¹⁸ And they call out with a great voice in Yah Hudahaic to the people of Yeru Shalem on the wall - to awe them and to terrify them; and to capture the city: ¹⁹ and they word against the Elohim of Yeru Shalem as against the elohim of the people of the earth - the work of the hands of hamuanity. ²⁰ And Yechizqi Yah the sovereign and the prophet Yesha Yah the son of Amos pray and cry to the heavens: ²¹ and Yah Veh sends an angel who cuts off all the mighty of valour and the eminent and governors in the camp of the sovereign of Ashshur: and he returns with shamed face to his own land. And he comes to the house of his elohim; and the offspring of his inwards fell him there with the sword: ²² and Yah Veh saves Yechizqi Yah and the settlers of Yeru Shalem from the hand of Sancherib the sovereign of Ashshur and from the hand of all others; and guides them all around. ²³ And many bring offerings to Yah Veh to Yeru Shalem; and preciousnesses to Yechizqi Yah sovereign of Yah Hudah: so that he is lifted in the eyes of all goyim thereafter. ²⁴ In those days, Yechizqi Yah is sick to die and prays to Yah Veh: and he says to him and he gives him an omen: ²⁵ and Yechizqi Yah returns not according as he was dealt; for his heart lifts: and there is rage on him and on Yah Hudah and Yeru Shalem: ²⁶ and Yechizqi Yah humbles himself for the haughtiness of his heart - he and the settlers of Yeru Shalem; so that the rage of Yah Veh comes not on them in the days of Yechizqi Yah: ²⁷ and Yechizqi Yah abounds mightily in riches and honor: and he works himself treasuries for silver and for gold and for esteemed stones and for spices and for bucklers and for all manner of instruments of desire ²⁸ - storage for the produce of crop and juice and oil; and stalls for animal by animal and stalls for droves: ²⁹ and he works cities and chattels of flocks and oxen in abundance: for Elohim gives him mighty much acquisition. ³⁰ This is the same Yechizqi Yah who stopped the upper watersprings of Gichon and brought it downward - duskward of the city of David - and Yechizqi Yah prospers in all his works. ³¹ And thus, by the interpreters of the governors of Babel, who send to him to enquire of the omen in the land, Elohim left him, to test him, to know all that is in his heart. ³²
THE DEATH OF YECHIZQI YAH
And the rest of the words of Yechizqi Yah and his mercy, behold, they are inscribed in the vision of Yesha Yah the prophet the son of Amos in the scroll of the sovereigns of Yah Hudah and Yisra El. ³³ And Yechizqi Yah lies down with his fathers - entombed in the ascent of the tombs of the sons of David: and all Yah Hudah and the settlers of Yeru Shalem work him honor at his death. - and Menash Sheh his son reigns in his stead.

¹¹ and Yah Veh brings on them the governors of the host of the sovereign of Ashshur who capture Menash Sheh among the thorns and bind him with copper and walk him to Babel:

⁶ Nebukadnets Tsar sovereign of Babel ascends against him and binds him in copper to go to Babel: ⁷ and Nebukadnets Tsar carries the instruments of the house of Yah Veh to Babel and gives them in his manse at Babel. ⁸ And the rest of the words of Yah Yaqim and the abhorrences he works and what is found in him, behold, are they not inscribed in the scroll of the words of the days of the sovereigns of Yisra El and Yah Hudah? And Yah Yachin his son reigns in his stead: ⁹ Yah Yachin is a son of eight years when he begins to reign: and he reigns three months and ten days in Yeru Shalem: and he works evil in the eyes of Yah Veh. ¹⁰ And at the turn of the year, sovereign Nebukadnets Tsar sends and brings him to Babel, with the instruments of desire of the house of Yah Veh: and has Sidqi Yah his brother reign over Yah Hudah and Yeru Shalem. ¹¹
SIDQI YAH REIGNS IN YERU SHALEM
Sidqi Yah is a son of twenty-one years when he begins to reign: and reigns eleven years in Yeru Shalem: ¹² and he works evil in the eyes of Yah Veh his Elohim and humbles not at the face of Yirme Yah the prophet from the mouth of Yah Veh: ¹³ and he also rebels against sovereign Nebukadnets Tsar - who has him oath by Elohim: but he hardens his neck and strengthens his heart from turning to Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El. ¹⁴ Also, all the governors of the priests and the people, in treasoning, abound to treason after all the abhorrences of the goyim; and foul the house of Yah Veh which he hallowed in Yeru Shalem. ¹⁵
THE FURY OF YAH VEH AGAINST HIS PEOPLE
And Yah Veh Elohim of their fathers sends to them by the hand of his angels - starting early and sending; because he has compassion on his people and on his habitation: ¹⁶ and they deride the angels of Elohim and despise his words and deceive his prophets until the fury of Yah Veh ascends against his people - until there is no healing. ¹⁷ And he ascends the sovereign of the Kasdiy on them who slaughters their youths with the sword in the house of their holies: and has no compassion on youth or virgin; old man or aged: he gives them all into his hand: ¹⁸ and all the instruments of the house of Elohim - great and small and the treasures of the house of Yah Veh and the treasures of the sovereign and of his governors - all these he brings to Babel: ¹⁹ and they burn the house of Elohim and pull down the wall of Yeru Shalem and burn all the citadels thereof with fire and ruin all the instruments of desire thereof: ²⁰ and he exiles them who survive the sword to Babel; where they are servants to him and his sons until the reign of the sovereigndom of Persia:

³² And now, our Elohim El - the great, the mighty and the awesome - who guards covenant and mercy, diminish not from your face all the travail that found us - on our sovereigns, on our governors and on our priests and on our prophets and on our fathers and on all your people since the day of the sovereigns of Ashshur to this day.

⁵ Ho, Ashshuri, the scion of my wrath; and the rod in their hand, my rage: ⁶ I send him against a goyim of profaners and against the people of my wrath; I misvah him to take the spoil and to plunder the plunder; and to set them for trampling as the heap of the outways:

SANCHERIB APPREHENDS YAH HUDAH
And so be it, in the fourteenth year of sovereign Yechizqi Yah, Sancherib sovereign of Ashshur ascends against all the fortified cities of Yah Hudah and apprehends them: ² and the sovereign of Ashshur sends Rab Shaqeh from Lachish to Yeru Shalem to king Yechizqi Yah - heavy with valiant: and he stands by the channel of the most high pool in the highway of the field of the fuller. ³ Then El Yaqim the son of Hilqi Yah who is over the house comes to him, with Shebna the scribe, and Yah Ach the son of Asaph the memorializer. ⁴ And Rab Shaqeh says to them, You, say, I beseech, to Yechizqi Yah, Thus says the great sovereign - the sovereign of Ashshur, What is this confidence wherein you confide? ⁵ I say, surely, words of lips! Counsel and might are for war! Now on whom confide you, to rebel against me? ⁶ Behold, you confide in the crutch of this crushed stalk - on Misrayim; whereon, if a man props, it goes into his palm, and pierces: thus is Paroh sovereign of Misrayim to all who confide in him. ⁷ And if you say to me, We confide in Yah Veh our Elohim! - is it not he, whose bamahs and whose sacrifice altars Yechizqi Yah turned aside, and said to Yah Hudah and to Yeru Shalem, Prostrate you at the face of this sacrifice altar? ⁸ And now pledge, I beseech you, to my adoni the sovereign of Ashshur, and I give you two thousand horses, if you are able on your part to give riders on them. ⁹ And how turn you away the face of one governor of the lesser of the servants of my adoni, and confide on Misrayim for chariots and for cavalry? ¹⁰ And now ascend I without Yah Veh against this land to ruin it? Yah Veh said to me, Ascend against this land, and ruin it. ¹¹ And El Yaqim and Shebna and Yah Ach say to Rab Shaqeh, Word, I beseech you, to your servants in Aramaic; for we hear: and word not to us in Yah Hudaic, in the ears of the people on the wall. ¹² And Rab Shaqeh says, Has my adoni sent me to your adoni to word these words to you? Is it not to the men who sit on the wall to eat their own excrements and drink the urine at their feet with you? ¹³ And Rab Shaqeh stands and calls out with a great voice in Yah Hudaic, and says, You, hear the words of the great sovereign the sovereign of Ashshur! ¹⁴ Thus says the sovereign, Neither let Yechizqi Yah deceive you: for he is not able to rescue you: ¹⁵ nor let Yechizqi Yah have you confide in Yah Veh, saying, In rescuing, Yah Veh rescues us. This city is not given into the hand of the sovereign of Ashshur. ¹⁶ Hearken not to Yechizqi Yah: for thus says the sovereign of Ashshur, Work a blessing with me and come out to me and every man eat of his vine and every man of his fig tree; and every man drink the waters of his own well; ¹⁷ - until I come and take you away to a land like your own land - a land of crop and juice, a land of bread and vineyards; ¹⁸ lest Yechizqi Yah goads you, saying, Yah Veh rescues us. Has any man of the elohim of the goyim rescued his land from the hand of the sovereign of Ashshur? ¹⁹ Where are the elohim of Hamath and Arphad? Where are the elohim of Sepharvayim? Rescued they Shomeron from my hand? ²⁰ Who are they, among all the elohim of these lands, who rescued their land from my hand, that Yah Veh rescue Yeru Shalem from my hand? ²¹ And they hush and answer him not a word: for the misvah of the sovereign is, saying, Answer him not. ²² And El Yaqim the son of Hilqi Yah who is over the household, comes with Shebna the scribe, and Yah Ach the son of Asaph, the memorializer, to Yechizqi Yah with their clothes ripped, and tell him the words of Rab Shaqeh.

²¹ else, if you send not my people away, behold, I send swarmers on you and on your servants and on your people and into your houses: and the houses of the Misrayim become full of swarmers and also become on the soil:

²⁴ And thus Yah Veh works: and heavy swarmers come into the house of Paroh and into the houses of his servants and into all the land of Misrayim: the land ruins at the face of the swarmers.

⁴⁴ and the Emoriy, settling that mountain, came out confronting you and pursued you, as bees work; and crushed you in Seir, even to Hormah:

²⁰ And Yah Veh your Elohim sends the hornet among them; until they who survive - who hide themselves from your face are destroyed.

¹² and I sent the hornet from your face who drove them from your face - the two sovereigns of the Emoriy - neither with your sword nor with your bow:

³³ And Paroh Nechoh binds him at Riblah in the land of Hamath, that he not reign in Yeru Shalem; and gives a penalty on the land - a hundred rounds of silver and a round of gold. ³⁴ And Paroh Nechoh has El Yaqim the son of Yoshi Yah reign in the stead of Yoshi Yah his father; and turns his name to Yah Yaqim: and he takes Yah Achaz away: and he comes to Misrayim and dies there.

¹² they surround me as bees; they are extinguished as a fire of thorns; for in the name of Yah Veh I cut them off.

²⁶ and he lifts an ensign to the goyim from afar, and hisses to them from the end of the earth: and, behold, they come quickly - swiftly:

⁵ they come from a land afar - from the end of the heavens - Yah Veh and the instruments of his rage to despoil the whole land.

HO TO THE REVOLTING SONS
Ho to the revolting sons - an oracle of Yah Veh who work counsel, but not mine; and who pour a pouring, but not of my spirit, who scrape up sin to sin: ² who walk to descend into Misrayim, and ask not at my mouth; to strengthen themselves in the stronghold of Paroh, and to seek refuge in the shadow of Misrayim!

HO TO THEM WHO LOOK NOT UPON THE HOLY ONE
Ho to them who descend to Misrayim for help; and lean on horses and confide in chariots because they are many; and in cavalry because they are mighty mighty; and neither look to the Holy One of Yisra El nor seek Yah Veh.

¹⁹ and they go into the caves of the rocks and into the caves of the dust - at the face of fear of Yah Veh and for the majesty of his pomp when he rises to terrify the earth.

²¹ to go into the crevices of the rocks and into the clefts of the rocks - at the face of fear of Yah Veh; and for the majesty of his pomp when he rises to terrify the earth.

¹⁶ Behold, I send for many fishers; - an oracle of Yah Veh and they fish them: and afterward, I send for many hunters; and they hunt them from every mountain and from every hill and from the holes of the rocks.

¹⁷ they lick the dust as a serpent; they quiver from their strongholds as creepers of the earth: they fear Yah Veh our Elohim and awe because of you.

⁷ And Achaz sends angels to Tilgath Pileser sovereign of Ashshur, saying, I am your servant and your son: ascend and save me from the palm of the sovereign of Aram and from the palm of the sovereign of Yisra El who rise against me. ⁸ And Achaz takes the silver and gold found in the house of Yah Veh and in the treasures of the house of the sovereign; and sends it for a bribe to the sovereign of Ashshur:

¹³ And in the fourteenth year of sovereign Yechizqi Yah, Sancherib sovereign of Ashshur ascends against all the cut off cities of Yah Hudah and apprehends them. ¹⁴ And Yechizqi Yah sovereign of Yah Hudah sends to the sovereign of Ashshur to Lachish saying, I sinned; turn away from me: whatever you give on me, I bear. And the sovereign of Ashshur sets to Yechizqi Yah sovereign of Yah Hudah three hundred rounds of silver and thirty rounds of gold: ¹⁵ and Yechizqi Yah gives him all the silver found in the house of Yah Veh and in the treasures of the house of the sovereign. ¹⁶ At that time, Yechizqi Yah chops off the doors of the manse of Yah Veh and the pillars Yechizqi Yah sovereign of Yah Hudah overlaid; and gives them to the sovereign of Ashshur:

⁷ so, behold, Adonay ascends upon them the waters of the river, mighty and many, the sovereign of Ashshur and all his honor: and he ascends over all his reservoirs and goes over all his banks:

¹⁴ and Yah Veh cuts off from Yisra El head and tail, palm leaf and rush, in one day. ¹⁵ The elder and lifted face, he is the head; and the prophet teaching falsehood, he is the tail. ¹⁶ For this people who blithe them cause them to stray; and the blithed are swallowed. ¹⁷ So Adonay neither cheers in their youths, nor mercies their orphans and widows: for every one is a profaner and a vilifier and every mouth words folly. For all this he turns not away his wrath and still spreads his hand.

¹⁵ Boasts the ax over him who hews therewith? Or greatens the rasp over him who shakes it? - as a scion shakes them who lift it? Or as a rod lifts itself with no timber?

¹⁵ And Yah Veh devotes the tongue of the Misrayim sea; and with the strength of his wind/spirit he shakes his hand over the river and smites it in the seven wadies; and has men tread it in shoes.

YAH VEH EVACUATES THE EARTH
Behold, Yah Veh evacuates the earth and wastes it and twists it face down and scatters the settlers abroad. ² And so be it, as with the people, thus with the priest; as with the servant, thus with his adoni; as with the maid, thus with her lady; as with the chatteler, thus with the seller; as with the lender, thus with the borrower; as with the exactor, thus with the exacted.

⁶ And now I give all these lands into the hand of Nebukadnets Tsar sovereign of Babel, my servant; and I also give him the live beings of the field to serve him: ⁷ and all goyim serve him and his son and sons of his son until the very time of his land comes: and then many goyim and great sovereigns have him to serve.

THE DESOLATION OF YERU SHALEM
And you, son of humanity, take a sharp sword, take a razor of a barber, and pass it over your head and over your beard: and take balances of weights and allot them. ² A third, burn with flame midst the city when the days of the siege are fulfilled: and take a third, and smite all around with a sword: and a third, scatter in the wind; and I draw a sword after them: ³ and take a few in number and bind them in your wings: ⁴ and take of them again, and cast them midst the fire and burn them in the fire; and a fire comes forth into all the house of Yisra El.

¹⁸ Son of humanity, Nebukadnets Tsar sovereign of Babel has his valiant to serve a great service against Sor: every head baldens and every shoulder peels: yet neither he nor his valiant have any hire from Sor for the service he served against it.

²⁰ I give him the land of Misrayim for the deeds he served against it because they worked for me - an oracle of Adonay Yah Veh.

¹⁷ And the lambs graze after their word; and sojourners eat the parched areas of the fatlings.

²⁵ and on all hills hoed with the hoe, there comes not the fear of briers and thorns: but it becomes for the sending forth of oxen, and for the trampling of lambs.

² the cities of Aroer are abandoned: they become for droves that crouch, and no one trembles them:

¹⁰ and of the poor of the people who have naught Nebu Zaradan the rabbi slaughterer has them survive in the land of Yah Hudah; and gives them vineyards and plowed fields that same day.

²⁹ and honey and butter and flock and cheese of oxen for David and for the people with him, to eat: for they say, The people famish and languish and thirst in the wilderness.

¹⁵ he eats butter and honey to know to refuse the evil and choose the good:

¹¹ Shelomoh has a vineyard at Baal Hamon; he gives the vineyard to guards; and for the fruit, each man brings a thousand silver. ¹² My vineyard - mine, is at my face; you, O Shelomoh, have a thousand and they who guard the fruit two hundred.

⁶ and I place it desolate - neither plucked nor hoed; and briers and thorns ascend: and I misvah the thick clouds to rain no rain thereon.

¹² They chop for the breasts for the fields of desire - for the fruitbearing vine: ¹³ on the soil of my people thorns and briers ascend; yes, on all the houses of joy in the city of jumping for joy: ¹⁴ surely the citadels are abandoned and the multitude of the city forsaken; the mounds and lookout towers become caves eternally - a joy of wild runners - a pasture of droves;

²⁶ I see, and behold, the orchard/Karmel is a wilderness; and all the cities are pulled down at the face of Yah Veh by his fuming wrath.

THE PARABLE OF THE VINEYARD
Hear another parable: A human housedespotes, plants a vineyard and hedges it all around and digs a trough in it and builds a tower and leases it to cultivators and goes abroad:

⁸ and whoever brings thorns and briers is disapproved and is near cursing - whose completion/shalom is to scorching.

³ and now, I pray you, bear your instruments - your quiver and your bow and go to the field and hunt me a hunt;

²¹ And so be it, in that day, that a man keeps alive a young heifer of the herd, and two flock; ²² and so be it, for the abundance of milk that they work he eats butter: for every one who remains in the land eats butter and honey.

²⁰ - neither to settle therein in perpetuity nor to tabernacle therein from generation to generation: neither the Arabiy tent there; nor the tenders crouch there: ²¹ and desert dwellers crouch there; and their houses are filled by howlers; and daughters of the owls tabernacle there, and bucks dance there: ²² and the island howlers answer in their abandonments, and monsters in their manses of luxury: and her time comes near, and her days are not drawn out.

⁶ And the sea boundary becomes habitations of rest and meadows for tenders and walls for flocks:
