YISRA EL EXILED
In the ninth year of Hoshea the sovereign of Ashshur captures Shomeron and exiles Yisra El to Ashshur; and sets them in Halach and in Habor by the river Gozan and in the cities of the Madaim. ⁷ And so be it, the sons of Yisra El sin against Yah Veh their Elohim - who ascended them from the land of Misrayim from under the hand of Paroh sovereign of Misrayim - and they awe other elohim ⁸ which they work: and walk in the statutes of the goyim whom Yah Veh dispossessed from the face of the sons of Yisra El and from the sovereigns of Yisra El: ⁹ and the sons of Yisra El covertly work words that are not right against Yah Veh their Elohim: and they build bamahs in all their cities from the tower of the guards to the fortified city: ¹⁰ and they station monoliths and asherim in every high hill and under every green tree: ¹¹ and incense there in all the bamahs as the goyim whom Yah Veh exiled from their face; and work evil words to vex Yah Veh: ¹² and serve idols, whereof Yah Veh said to them, Work not this word! ¹³ And Yah Veh witnesses against Yisra El and against Yah Hudah, by the hand of all the prophets and by all the seers, saying, Turn from your evil ways and guard my misvoth and my statutes, according to all the torah I misvahed your fathers - which I send to you by the hand of my servants the prophets. ¹⁴ And they hearken not, and harden their necks, as the neck of their fathers, who trusted not in Yah Veh their Elohim: ¹⁵ and they refuse his statutes and his covenant which he cut with their fathers and his witnesses which he witnessed against them; and they go after vanity and become vain and go after the goyim all around them - to whom Yah Veh misvahed to not work like them: ¹⁶ and they leave all the misvoth of Yah Veh their Elohim; and work moltens - two calves and work an asherah and prostrate to all the host of the heavens and serve Baal: ¹⁷ and they pass their sons and their daughters through the fire; and divine divination and prognostications and sell themselves to work evil in the eyes of Yah Veh - to vex him. ¹⁸ So Yah Veh angers mightily at Yisra El and turns them aside from his face: none survive except only, the scion of Yah Hudah: ¹⁹ Yah Hudah also guards not the misvoth of Yah Veh their Elohim but walks in the statutes Yisra El works. ²⁰ And Yah Veh refuses all the seed of Yisra El and humbles them; and gives them into the hand of plunderers until he casts them from his face:

² the mighty and the man of war, the judge and the prophet, and the diviner and the aged, ³ the governor of fifty, and the lifted face and the counsellor, and the wise engraver and the discerning orator:

¹⁷ and the light of Yisra El is for a fire, and his Holy One for a flame: and in one day it burns and consumes his thorns and his briers;

¹⁵ there is no work for Misrayim, for the head or tail, palm leaf or rush, to work.

¹³ so this perversity is to you as a falling breach bulging out in a lofted wall - whose breaking comes suddenly in a blink.

⁴ And Yah Veh says to him, Call his name Yizre El/El Seeds; for yet a little, and I visit the blood of Yizre El on the house of Yah Hu, and shabbathize the sovereigndom of the house of Yisra El.

And she conceives again, and births a daughter: and he says to him, Call her name Lo Ruchamah/Not Mercied: for I add not to mercy the house of Yisra El; for in bearing, I bear them away:

⁹ Then he says, Call his name Lo Ammi/Not My People: for you are not my people, and I am not yours.

⁵ And you falter in the day and the prophet also falters with you in the night; and I sever your mother.

¹² So I am to Ephrayim as a moth and to the house of Yah Hudah as rottenness. ¹³ And Ephrayim sees his sickness and Yah Hudah sees his sore; and Ephrayim goes to the Ashshuri and sends to sovereign Yareb to plead: yet he can neither heal you nor cure you of your sore. ¹⁴ For I am to Ephrayim as a roaring lion and as a whelp to the house of Yah Hudah: I - I tear and go away; I bear away; and no one rescues:

⁸ Yisra El is swallowed: they are now among the goyim as an instrument wherein is no delight:

¹¹ Ephrayim is as a fowl their honor flies from the birth and from the belly and from the conception. ¹² Though they nourish their sons, yet I bereave them - without a human: yes also, woe to them when I turn aside from them! ¹³ Ephrayim, as I saw Sor, is transplanted in a habitation of rest: and Ephrayim brings his sons to the slaughterer. ¹⁴ Give them, O Yah Veh! What give you? Give them an aborting womb and dry breasts. ¹⁵ All their evil is in Gilgal; surely, there I hated them: for the evil of their exploits I drive them from my house; I add not to love them: all their governors are revolters. ¹⁶ Ephrayim is smitten: their root withers; they work no fruit: yes, though they birth, yet I slay the desire of their belly. ¹⁷ My Elohim spurns them, because they hearken not to him: and they become wanderers among the goyim.

¹⁵ Thus Beth El works to you at the face of the evil of your evil: in the dawn in severing, sever the sovereign of Yisra El.

³ So they are as the morning cloud and as the early dew that passes away: as the chaff stormed from the threshingfloor and as the smoke from the window.

¹⁴ and the flight destructs from the swift: neither the strong strengthens his force nor the mighty rescues his soul: ¹⁵ neither stands he who manipulates the bow; nor rescues he who is swift of foot: nor rescues he his soul who rides the horse: ¹⁶ and among the mighty, he who is strong of heart flees away naked in that day - an oracle of Yah Veh.

¹² Thus says Yah Veh: As the tender rescues from the mouth of the lion two legs or a piece of an ear, thus are the sons of Yisra El rescued who settle in Shomeron in the edge of a bed; and in Dammeseq in a bedstead.

² The virgin of Yisra El - fallen; she adds not to rise: forsaken on her soil she has no one to raise her up. ³ For thus says Adonay Yah Veh: The city that comes by a thousand leaves a hundred; and that which comes by a hundred leaves ten to the house of Yisra El.

¹¹ For, behold, Yah Veh misvahs; and he smites the great house with dewdrops and the little house with fissures:

⁸ And Yah Veh says to me, Amos, what see you? And I say, A plumbline. Then Yah Veh Adonay says, Behold, I set a plumbline among my people Yisra El: I add not to pass by them any more: ⁹ and I desolate the bamahs of Yischaq and parch the holies of Yisra El; and I rise against the house of Yarob Am with the sword.

¹⁷ So Yah Veh says thus: Your woman whores in the city and your sons and your daughters fall by the sword and your soil is allotted by line; and you die in a foul soil: and in exiling, Yisra El is exiled from his soil.

JUDGMENT OF YAH VEH
I see Adonay stationed on the sacrifice altar; and he says, Smite the lintel of the door, so as to quake the thresholds: and crop them in the head - all of them; and I slaughter the last of them with the sword: and he who flees, flees not to them, and the escapee escapes not to them. ² And if they dig into sheol my hand takes them from there; and if they ascend to the heavens I bring them down from there: ³ and if they hide in the top of Karmel/orchard I search and take them from there; and if they hide from my eyes in the floor of the sea I misvah the serpent to bite them there; ⁴ and if they go into captivity at the face of their enemies, I misvah the sword to slaughter them there: and I set my eyes on them for evil and not for good. ⁵ And Adonay Yah Veh Sabaoth is he who touches the land, and it melts, and all that settle therein mourn: and it all ascends as a river and drowns as the river of Misrayim. ⁶ He who builds his steps in the heavens and founds his band in the earth; he who calls for the waters of the sea and pours them on the face of the earth; Yah Veh is his name. ⁷ Are you not as sons of the Kushiym to me, O sons of Yisra El? - an oracle of Yah Veh. Ascended I not Yisra El from the land of Misrayim? And the Peleshethiym from Kaphtor? And the Aramiym from Qir? ⁸ Behold, the eyes of Adonay Yah Veh on the sinful sovereigndom; and I desolate it from off the face of the soil: finally, in desolating, I desolate not the house of Yaaqov - an oracle of Yah Veh. ⁹ For behold, I misvah, and I shake the house of Yisra El among all goyim as shaken in a sieve; yet not a kernel falls on the earth.

⁶ I set Shomeron as a heap of the field - as plantings of a vineyard: and I pour the stones into the valley and I expose the foundations; ⁷ and crush all the sculptiles and burn all the payoffs with the fire and desolate all the idols; for she gathers from the payoff of a whore and to the payoff of a whore they return: ⁸ for this I chop and howl; I go stripped and naked: I work a chopping as the monsters and a mourning as the daughters of the owls:

⁸ For this her plagues come in one day - death and mourning and famine; and she utterly burns in fire: because mighty is Yah Veh Elohim who judges her.

¹⁰ standing from afar for the awe of her torture, wording, Woe! Woe that megalopolis Babel! - that mighty city! because in one hour is your judgment iis come.

¹⁷ Because in one hour so vast riches are desolated.
PILOTS, PASSENGERS, AND SAILERS CRY OVER THE FALL OF BABEL
And every pilot and all the homogeneous crowd in sailers and ship crew and as many as work by sea stand from afar;
