⁸ - if that goyim, against whom I word, turns from their evil, then I sigh of the evil I fabricate to work to them.

¹² Why have the Misrayim say, saying, For evil he brought them out - to slaughter them in the mountains and to finish them off from the face of the soil? Turn from your fuming wrath and sigh of this evil against your people:

³⁶ For Yah Veh judges his people and sighs for his servants, when he sees their hand disappear and no one restrains.

¹⁸ And Yah Veh raises them judges, and Yah Veh is with the judge and saves them from the hand of their enemies all the days of the judge: for Yah Veh sighs because of their groanings at the face of their oppressors; and oppresses them.

¹⁵ And the sons of Yisra El say to Yah Veh, We sin! Work to us whatever seems good in your eyes; only, rescue us, we beseech you, this day. ¹⁶ - and they turn aside the elohim of strangers from among them and serve Yah Veh: and his soul shortens for the toil of Yisra El.

³³ When your people Yisra El are smitten at the face of the enemy because they sin against you - and turn again to you and spread hands to your name and pray and beseech to you in this house ³⁴ - then hear in the heavens and forgive the sin of your people Yisra El and return them to the soil you gave their fathers.

⁶ And the governors of Yisra El and the sovereign humble themselves; and they say, Yah Veh is just.

¹³ Return, O Yah Veh! Until when? Sigh concerning your servants!

⁴⁵ and he remembers his covenant and sighs according to the abundance of his mercies:

¹⁴ for Yah Veh pleads the cause of his people and he sighs concerning his servants.

¹⁶ Baptize yourself; purify yourself; turn aside the evil of your exploitations from in front of my eyes: cease to vilify; ¹⁷ learn to well-please; seek judgment; blithe the oppressed; judge the orphan; plead for the widow. ¹⁸ Come, I beseech, and we reason, says Yah Veh: though your sins be as scarlet, they whiten as snow; though they be reddened like crimson, they be as wool. ¹⁹ If you so will and hearken, you eat the good of the land:

³ thus says Yah Veh Sabaoth the Elohim of Yisra El, Well-prepare your ways and your exploits, and I tabernacle you in this place. ⁴ Confide not in false words, saying, The manse of Yah Veh! The manse of Yah Veh! The manse of Yah Veh are they! ⁵ For if, in well-preparing, you well-prepare your ways and your exploitations; if in working, you work judgment between a man and his friend; ⁶ if you oppress not the sojourner, the orphan, and the widow, and pour not innocent blood in this place, and walk not after other elohim to your evil: ⁷ then I tabernacle you in this place in the land I gave to your fathers eternally and eternally.

⁶ You abandoned me - an oracle of Yah Veh; you go backward: and I spread my hand against you, and ruin you; I weary with sighing:

³ perhaps they hearken and every man turns from his evil way, so that I sigh of the evil I fabricate to work to them at the face of the evil of their exploits.

¹³ and now well-prepare your ways and your exploits and obey the voice of Yah Veh your Elohim; so that Yah Veh sighs concerning the evil he worded against you.

¹⁹ Yechizqi Yah sovereign of Yah Hudah - and all Yah Hudah in deathifying, deathified he him? Feared he not Yah Veh and stroked the face of Yah Veh - and Yah Veh sighed of the evil he worded against them? And we work great evil against our souls.

³ Perhaps the house of Yah Hudah hears all the evil I fabricate to work to them; so that every man returns from his evil way and I forgive their perversity and their sin.

¹⁰ If you return and settle in this land, then I build you, and break you not; and I plant you, and uproot you not: for I sigh of the evil I worked to you.

THE WICKED WHO TURNS TO JUSTNESS LIVES
And if the wicked turns from all his sins he works and guards all my statutes and works judgment and justness; in living, he lives; he dies not:

¹¹ Say to them, I live - an oracle of Adonay Yah Veh, I delight not in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn - turn from your evil ways; for why die, O house of Yisra El?

¹³ When I say to the just, In living, he lives! - and he confides in his own justness and works wickedness, all his justnesses are not remembered: and for the wickedness he works, he dies for it.

⁸ How give I you up, Ephrayim? How buckler I you, Yisra El? How give I you as Admah? How set I you as Seboim? My heart turns within me; my solaces yearn together.

¹³ and rip your heart and not your clothes; and turn to Yah Veh your Elohim: for he is charismatic and merciful slow to wrath and of great mercy; and he sighs concerning the evil. ¹⁴ Who knows? He returns; yes, he sighs: and leaves a blessing behind him - an offering and a libation to Yah Veh your Elohim.

³ Yah Veh sighs for this: So be it not, says Yah Veh. ⁴ Thus Adonay Yah Veh shows me: and behold, Adonay Yah Veh calls to contend by fire; and it consumes the great abyss and eats an allotment. ⁵ And I say, O Adonay Yah Veh, cease, I beseech you: How rises Yaaqov? For he is small. ⁶ Yah Veh sighs for this also: So be it not, says Adonay Yah Veh.

⁵ the waters surround me to the soul; the abyss surrounds me; the reeds bind around my head: ⁶ I descend to the bases of the mountains; the earth with her bars around me eternally: yet you ascend my life from the pit of ruin, O Yah Veh my Elohim. ⁷ When my soul languishes within me I remember Yah Veh: and my prayer comes in to you - into your holy manse. ⁸ They who observe vain vanities forsake their own mercy; ⁹ and I sacrifice to you with the voice of spread hands; I shalam what I vow: salvation is of Yah Veh. ¹⁰ And Yah Veh says to the fish, and it vomits Yonah on the dry.

⁹ Who knows? Perhaps Elohim turns and sighs - turns from his fuming wrath, and we destruct not! ¹⁰ And Elohim sees their works - that they turn from their evil way; and Elohim sighs of the evil he worded to work to them; and he works it not.

² and he prays to Yah Veh, and says, I beseech you, O Yah Veh, was this not my word when I was yet in my soil? So I anticipated to flee to Tarshish: for I knew you are an El - charismatic and merciful, slow to anger and of great mercy; and you sigh of the evil:

³ I word to you, Indeed not: but unless you repent, you all likewise destruct. ⁴ Or those eighteen upon whom the tower in Shiloach fell and slaughtered them: think you that they became indebted above all humanity who settle in Yeru Shalem? ⁵ I word to you, Indeed not: but unless you repent, you all likewise destruct.
