¹⁷ for in working, we work whatever comes from our own mouth, to incense to the sovereigness of the heavens and to libate libations to her as we worked - we and our fathers our sovereigns and our governors in the cities of Yah Hudah and in the outways of Yeru Shalem: for then we were satiated with bread and were good and saw no evil:

³ And the sons of Yisra El say to them, O that we were given to die by the hand of Yah Veh - in the land of Misrayim when we settled by the flesh cauldrons and when we ate bread to satiety; for you bring us into this wilderness, to deathify this whole congregation with famine.

² When a man vows a vow to Yah Veh, or oaths an oath to bind a bond on his soul, he profanes not his word; he works according to all proceeding from his mouth.

¹² And if in breaking, her man breaks them on the day he hears them; then whatever proceeded from her lips concerning her vows, or concerning the bond on her soul, becomes not raised: her man broke them and Yah Veh forgives her.

²³ Guard and work what proceeds from your lips as you vow to Yah Veh your Elohim - even the voluntary you word with your mouth.

³⁶ And she says to him, My father, you gaped your mouth to Yah Veh: work to me what comes from your mouth; since Yah Veh worked vengeance for you on your enemies the sons of Ammon.

¹⁶ and they leave all the misvoth of Yah Veh their Elohim; and work moltens - two calves and work an asherah and prostrate to all the host of the heavens and serve Baal:

¹⁷ because they forsake me and incense to other elohim - to vex me with all the works of their hands; I kindle my fury against this place and quench not.

³⁴ and our sovereigns, our governors, our priests, or our fathers, neither work your torah, nor hearken to your misvoth and your witnesses which you witness against them:

⁴ who say, With our tongue we prevail mightily; our lips are our own; who is adoni over us?

⁶ We sinned with our fathers; we perverted; we did wickedly.

⁵ I even tell you ever since; so that you hear ere it becomes: lest you say, My idol worked them! And my sculptile and my libation misvahed them!

¹⁸ The sons gather timber and the fathers burn the fire; and the women knead their dough to work wafers to the sovereigness of the heavens and to libate libations to other elohim to vex me.

¹³ and so be the houses of Yeru Shalem and the houses of the sovereigns of Yah Hudah - fouled as the place of Topheth because of all the houses on whose roofs they incensed to all the host of the heavens and libated libations to other elohim.

²⁹ and the Kesediym who fight against this city come and kindle fire on this city - and burn it with the houses on whose roofs they incensed to Baal and libated libations to other elohim, to vex me: ³⁰ for the sons of Yisra El and the sons of Yah Hudah surely work evil in my eyes from their youth: for the sons of Yisra El surely vex me with the work of their hands - an oracle of Yah Veh. ³¹ And so be this city to me - a provocation of my wrath and of my fury from the day they built it even to this day; that I turn it aside from in front of my face, ³² because of all the evil the sons of Yisra El and the sons of Yah Hudah work to vex me - they, their sovereigns, their governors, their priests, and their prophets, and the men of Yah Hudah, and the settlers of Yeru Shalem:

⁹ Forget you the evil of your fathers? And the evil of the sovereigns of Yah Hudah? And the evil of their women? And your own evil? And the evil your women worked in the land of Yah Hudah and in the outways of Yeru Shalem?

²¹ The incense you incensed in the cities of Yah Hudah and in the outways of Yeru Shalem - you and your fathers, your sovereigns and your governors and the people of the land remembered not Yah Veh them? and ascended it not into his heart?

²⁵ Thus says Yah Veh Sabaoth Elohim of Yisra El, saying; You and your women both worded with your mouths, and fulfilled with your hand, saying, In working, we work the vows we vowed, to incense to the sovereigness of the heavens and to libate libations to her: in raising, we raise our vows, and in working, we work our vows.

⁸ And they rebel against me and will to not hearken to me: they - every man neither cast away the abominations of their eyes, nor forsake the idols of Misrayim. And I say, I pour my fury on them to finish off my wrath against them midst the land of Misrayim.

⁵ we sinned and perverted and did wickedly and rebelled - by turning aside from your misvoth and from your judgments: ⁶ we hearkened not to your servants the prophets, who worded in your name to our sovereigns, our governors and our fathers and to all the people of the land. ⁷ O Adonay, justness to you; and shame of faces to us, as this day; to the men of Yah Hudah and to the settlers of Yeru Shalem and to all Yisra El, near and far, through all the lands you drove them, because of the treason they treasoned against you. ⁸ Adonay, shame of face to us - to our sovereigns, to our governors and to our fathers, because we sinned against you.

⁵ for their mother whores: she who conceived them shames - for she says, I go after my lovers who give me my bread and my water; my wool and my flax; my oil and my drink: ⁶ so behold, I hedge your way with thorns, and wall a wall that she not find her paths: ⁷ and she pursues her lovers and overtakes them not; and she seeks them and finds them not. And she says, I go and return to my first man; for it was better with me than at this time. ⁸ - and she knows not that I gave her crop and juice and oil; and abounded her silver and gold which they worked for Baal. ⁹ So I return and take away my crop in time and my juice in season; and rescue my wool and my flax which covers her nakedness.

²⁶ And the sovereign becomes extremely sorrowful; yet for sake of his oath, and for the sakes of them who repose with him, he wills to not set her aside.

¹⁹ whose completion/shalom is destruction, whose elohim is their belly, whose glory is in their shame, who think earthly.

¹⁸ knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptibles as silver or gold of your vain patriarchal traditions;
